It has been a tough year<br />
for everyone as the pandemic has lingered,<br />
affecting all our lives and livelihoods – with many<br />
small businesses and our high streets feeling the<br />
brunt of the closures and restrictions.<br />
The Council has worked hard to get grants out to eligible businesses<br />
but in the run up to Christmas, we wanted to go a step further – to<br />
showcase some of the wonderful independent shops that we have<br />
in our towns and villages – which hopefully will tempt you back<br />
into the high street and to spend local at Christmas – so that these<br />
businesses can not only survive but thrive for future years.<br />
Of course, other great shops exist too – this is just a snapshot of<br />
some of them in our area. We hope this guide will encourage you to<br />
discover more – and explore our wonderful <strong>Staffordshire</strong> <strong>Moorlands</strong><br />
independent retailers!<br />
