HOMELESS
CENTER
New Hope Development Center is a
transitional housing and rehabilitation
center for the homeless.
It serves the homeless people in Egypt
and gives them a chance for a new life.
According to the latest statistics, the
need for this project came from the
fact that there are millions of homeless
people around Cairo and the lack of
any establishments that are meant to
solve this issue.

THE
CONCEPT
Social inclusion
It is inspired by the ideas of the
architect Charles Correa about how to
design a relevantly new project that
blends well with its surroundings while
maintaining its characteristics.
The project aims to integrate the
excluded homeless people with the
existing urban and social fabric.
The project is designed with a grid system, local
materials, and a form inspired by the Egyptian
birdhouse, which also acts as a visual metaphor.

• The site is located in Warraq Alhadar, north of Cairo, in
a very active and lively area.
• It is surrounded by empty land from the South and
East (great for future expansions) and Residential
buildings from the West and North.
• The site can be easily reached since it has clear access
and a view from the main Nile corniche road from the
east.
• The site is surrounded by many residential buildings
and potential supportive facilities. It has many services
such as restaurants, supermarkets and all types of
commercial activities.

The project contains four main facilities:
- Accommodation - Healthcare - Education - Research
The accommodation contains living units for homeless people,
with a common living, dining, and bathrooms. Healthcare has
all the basic clinics and treatment rooms. Education includes a
library, classrooms, workshops, job assessment center, and
research center that analyses the users' experience.

The housing complex contains 65 units, with
each unit fitting two to three users
accompanied by common social facilities.
The unit area is 36 m2 and has 2/3 beds and
cabinets and a small living room with an
outdoor balcony/terrace.

GARDEN
The idea for Sakhir botanical garden
project came from the need for a
space that shows the biodiversity of
Bahrain to the local community and
the whole world.

prepared to host all kinds of activities
events, a research center with labs
and classrooms, an indoor botanical
garden, and an outdoor garden
sectioned to represent different
Bahraini environments.

MOSQUE AND
ISLAMIC CENTER
The mosque was always an important
figure in Islamic culture.
It was more than just a place to pray,
it was a school, a culture center, and
the core of Islamic civilization.
The mosque of unity is a project that
strives to revive that spirit and restore
the impactful role of mosque.
It contains a mosque, educational
center, events hall, and outdoor
recreational areas.

Inspired by the straight lines of
Islamic geometry, the mosque
was designed with a rectangular
geometry that balances between
the positive and negative
spaces, giving a sense of unity
between the different functions
while emphasizing the mosque
by making it the central piece of
that unity.

Kingdom of Bahrain.
• Surrounded by empty land from the West
and South, residential buildings from North
and East, which will make it in the middle of
the neighborhood and gives residents
easy access to the place.

This project is an expansion that contains 12 chalet units in the Seef area in the
Kingdom of Bahrain. Each unit with a completely different interior design style,
including Islamic, Bohemian, Greek, Modern, Spanish and Japanese, to name a few.
We worked on the 2D furniture layout, 3D interior scenes, 2D technical drawings,
and quantity surveying.

This project is a two-floor villa for a small family
located in East Hidd city in Bahrain.
We created the 2D furniture layout, 3D interior

This project was a massive campaign
that covered the whole country
(Kingdom of Bahrain).
We handled the art direction and
content creation for the competition
and its different divisions.
ALRAJHI CONTEST
A l R a j h i S u n n a i s a n I s l a m i c
competition run annually by AlRajhi
Bank.
The competition is considered one of
the biggest in the region, with
thousands of participants every year
from Bahrain and the Arab world.
We c r e a t e d t h e t h e m e o f t h e
competition inspired by the Islamic
culture and one of its most important
symbols: Almasjid AlNabawi.
We created all kinds of content that suit
different media: Posters, Social media
posts, Billboards, Brochures, etc.
