Cody is a puppy.
He is the Collie kind.
He’s a pup who loves
adventure and
he hates to be
confined.
Cody was feeling bored, so bored that he could cry.
So, he finally decided to explore some places nearby.
Cody began to sniff but he forgot to look up. He
bumped into a man who leaned down to pat the pup.
“My name is Nate,” said the man.
“And I’m looking for a key.
Can you help me find it?
I don’t know where it could be.”
“I’ve been down to Greenville,
Spartanburg and Columbia too.
I closed some deals here in Charleston,
and that’s where I met you.”
“You see, I work for Colliers
and we help people out
by finding them the spaces
they’ve always dreamt about.”
“We sell and we lease and manage properties too. So I really
need that key to make somebody’s dreams come true.”
“I think that your nose could really help me out.
You could sniff some nice sniffs with your sniff-tastic snout.”
Cody felt honored! He would take on the quest! The key could be
anywhere, but he would start in the Northwest. So he hopped on a train
and he headed to the upstate to sniff out the key for his new buddy Nate.
“CHOO! CHOO!” said the train and it chugged right along.
It passed lakes, towns and rivers. It chugged on until dawn.
Cody made his way to Greenville; that is
where his journey began. He sniffed all
around. In the Reedy River he swam.
He passed Colliers signs hung all
over the place. But no key could
be found, it had not left a trace.
“To Spartanburg, I go!” barked Cody with glee.“Woof! There is so much to
see!” He trotted along the streets of the town. He found a Colliers office and
started asking around. He met Hannah and Ashley, so many others too. He
saw their friendly faces. He liked meeting people new.
But it turned out the key was not in this city. If
he was going to find it, he’d have to get witty.
So off to Columbia the little pup went.
“The key has to be here, I’ve picked up its
scent!”
He sniffed and he sniffed and he sniffed all around.
He sniffed on the rooftops, he sniffed on the ground.
Now just when he thought about calling it a day,
he passed by Mickey who works for LCK.
“Hello little pup,” she said.“What are you doing
out here?” “I think I’ve gotten lost,” said the
pup through his tears.
“My friend Nate wants to help some clients of his.
He’s an awfully nice guy, one of the nicest there is.”
“But he can’t find his key, so I offered to help. I’ve
sniffed this “My whole name state!” is Nate,” poor said Cody the man. yelped.
“And I’m looking for a key.
Can you help me find it?
I don’t know where it could be.”
“I’ve been down to Greenville,
Spartanburg and Columbia too.
“You see, I work for Colliers
By finding them the spaces
They’ve always dreamt about.”
“Well, what do you know?” said Mickey to the pup.
“I was just walking by here and I picked this key up.”
“Could it possibly be the key you’re
looking for? It looks like it’s made
to open a Colliers door.”
“We work closely with
Colliers, and construction
workers too, to help
ensure buildings stick
together like glue.”
“We sell and we lease and manage properties too.
So I really need that key to make somebody’s dreams come true.”
“I think that your nose could really help me out.
You could sniff some nice sniffs with your sniff-tastic snout.”
“Nate is my friend. Let’s get him his key! We can
drive down the highway. You can ride with me.”
So Cody and Mickey
drove all the way home
to give Nate his key and
Nate gave Cody a bone!
