ABOUT YAZMIN ZUPA COVENEY
My expertise spans both web and print design. While I understand the technical differences
between the two mediums, I know that good design transcends pixels and paper to
communicate in a clear, pleasing manner. Working in both agency and corporate settings,
I’ve done it all—designed logos, brochures, owner’s manuals, packaging, trade show graphics,
email newsletters, websites, digital banners, and more. The following pages show examples
of my work.

WHITING PETROLEUM
At the o2 Group, I’m the lead designer for Whiting Petroleum. Whiting initially came
to the agency with inconsistent branding throughout the company. Working directly
with the client, I created branding guidelines. From there, I’ve managed the account’s
projects and continue to bring consistency to the company’s marketing collateral.

FORTUNE 500 HEALTH CARE COMPANY
Working with a team of project managers, designers, and developers, I help create
three, year-round, employee wellness programs for a Fortune 500 health care
company. Using extensive branding guidelines, I create all the support program PDF
documents, prize badges, MailChimp templates, and completion postcards. I’ve also
designed the user interfaces for the profile, forum, and events pages.

SALVATION ARMY
I had the pleasure of designing the invitation to the Salvation Army’s
150-year gala. I created the piece from start to finish—developing the
concept, and message—and managed printing.
I also designed a monthly postcard invitation for 5280 Echelon,
Salvation Army’s local chapter of young professional volunteers.

CHASING STARS BOUTIQUE
Chasing Stars Boutique is a clothing boutique started as a hobby by two mompreneurs who
wanted to take their business to the next level with a professional logo and web design.
I created a logo that captured the fun, feminine nature of the clothing. Then I designed a
website that reflects the same spirit. The site was developed by o2 Group Developers using
WordPress and WooCommerce.
The site design won a 2017 W3 Silver Award from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts.

My web design experience spans a wide array of industries, non-profits,
and some government agencies. Some examples include:

dedicated to increasing the competitiveness of Colorado manufacturers

ADAPT
ADAPT is a public-private, membership-driven
partnership that gathers data informatics for metal
additive manufacturing. They had a great logo but needed
a website and brochure. I created a Web Design and
brochure layout that used the angles of the logo and
highlighted the fantastic 3D metal printing they study.

PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY
As part of a team that develops several employee
wellness programs for a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical
company, I designed the 2016-2018 program website
and support documents.
