Biographies
Juan Rezzuto (Argentina) is a rare artist with a
great deal of intellect and an in-depth understanding of
piano, composition and music technology. He has been
linked to what he describes as a “marvellous instrument:
the piano” since the age of three. He inherits the
paradigmatic technique and philosophy of Mtro. Vicente
Scaramuzza from Mtro. Bruno Leonardo Gelber. Since his
first soloist concerto at the age of nineteen at the Teatro
Colon de Mar del Plata - Argentina, he has committed
his professional career to study the work of Joseph
Haydn. He has performed and recorded the majority of
his concertos and has analysed most of his sonatas. He
played as a soloist in renowned historical venues amongst
many others, the Birmingham Old Town Hall accompanied
by the Camerata of London, the Palacio Seteais in Sintra
- Portugal accompanied by members of the Portuguese
National Symphonic Orchestra, the Mondoñedo
Cathedral in Lugo - Spain. He is the founder and artistic
director of the London Amateur Orchestra (LAO), with
which he regularly performs Haydn piano concertos at St.
Cuthbert’s Philbeach Gardens - London. As a composer,
his orchestral and ensemble pieces have been premiered,
amongst other places, at the Birmingham Old Town Hall
by the Camerata of London, at “Saddlers Wells” - London,
and in Buenos Aires Argentina at the “Teatro 25 de Mayo”.
As a music educator, he is the founder and director of
WKMT London. Since 2010 he has redefined the structure
and approach of private piano practices through training
and organising the study of thousands of piano students
preparing for examinations and piano competitions.
His most significant achievement as an educator is the
systematisation and scaling of the Vicente Scaramuzza
piano technique. His London school thrives on promoting
and inspiring the passion for music and the work of Mtro.
