KALARAV DI MELDOLESI LIVIA (Italy): A design studio working in several<br />

fields. From graphics to fashion <strong>and</strong> interior design creations, KALARAV DI<br />

MELDOLESI LIVIA put their analytical skills at the service of their clients’<br />

needs. Going beyond trends, the studio often produces exclusive designs for<br />

Italian <strong>and</strong> international textiles.<br />

SALMARINA (Hong-King): Textile designer since 2005, SALMARINA propose<br />

collections of finely executed designs using trendy colours as well as a print<br />

collection for beachwear with printed knits <strong>and</strong> circular knits for bathing suits as well<br />

as lighter-weight fabrics in crêpe <strong>and</strong> net for pareos <strong>and</strong> beach products.<br />

ATELIER CALISTI-LE GALL (France): The painter Marcelle Calisti, a contemporary<br />

of Raoul Dufy <strong>and</strong> Sonia Delaunay, created this atelier in 1937. Quickly renowned<br />

for her flower-filled <strong>garde</strong>ns, she went to London to work as a colourist <strong>and</strong> fabric<br />

designer with the Courtaulds Group, then to Alsace with the Schaeffer Impression<br />

Group, to Germany with the Mulforter Company, <strong>and</strong> to Italy with the Miroglio Group,<br />

<strong>and</strong> the Cantoni, Satilai <strong>and</strong> Monteoliveto <strong>and</strong> Ponte Arno Companies.<br />

Marie-Jeanne Calisti <strong>and</strong> her design team propose h<strong>and</strong> painted fabrics as well as<br />

computer-assisted designs for lingerie <strong>and</strong> ready-to-wear, <strong>and</strong> are always vigilant in<br />

upholding the atelier’s reputation for style <strong>and</strong> savoir-faire<br />

LACE IT<br />

TRIMLACE (United Kingdom): The company, formed in 1983, specializes in<br />

creating narrow-width fabrics for sport <strong>and</strong> leisure, <strong>and</strong> lace for lingerie <strong>and</strong><br />

80% of their production is exported throughout the world.<br />

The collection includes three product ranges: narrow-width decorative fabrics in<br />

solids, stripes, <strong>and</strong> prints <strong>and</strong> ribbed fabrics; heat transfer, rigid or stretch tulle; <strong>and</strong><br />

Raschel, Jacquard <strong>and</strong> Textronic laces in braids <strong>and</strong> widths; as well as rigid or<br />
