Summary of Content: A communicative approach to teaching written and
spoken French providing 70-90 hours of study. The textbooks with 2 CDs are
made up of nine units (level 1 and 2) or twelve units (level 3) organized around

different real life situations to promote real communicative skills. Students may
require assistance from the French instructor to understand the directions for the
