“I’m on in 10... what the f*$K Do i Do?!”
1) Turn it all on!
Make sure all the buttons on the right are turned on AND turn
the speakers on (switches are on the back)

2) Upload Your Tracks
i - In File Explorer, drag your audio files from your USB into a
folder in Documents.
ii - Click the Folder button in the MEDIA FINDER window and
choose ‘Add Files’. Navigate to your folder and upload the
tracks, make sure to select the Type (song) and Category (your
show name) when you import!
This opens the uploader
Click this to browse for your audio files
Once you’ve selected your files, click this
button to categorise your songs and upload!
3) Turn OFF Auto
You need to remember to turn off the AUTO playlisting so that
you have full control of the playlist while your show is on air.
***If you dont do this PlayOutONE might add songs you don’t
want or replace your playlists while you’re on air
TURN BOTH OF THESE OFF!!!
AT THE END OF YOUR SHOW TURN
AUTO SWITCHES BACK ON!
4) Say Stuff On The Radio
i - Clear all the songs from the auto-playlist (select all and
delete)
ii - Drag your songs into the empty
playlist from the MEDIA FINDER
[DELETE]
iii -
Press play in Box (1) to start music playing
iv - UNMUTE MIC 1 on the desk and start
talking
This YELLOW light turns OFF when
your mic is LIVE
If your mic sounds too loud in the headphones
pull this fader down a little bit to reduce the
mic volume
PRO TIP!
- UNCHAINING
If a song has the ‘Chain’ box ticked it means that PlayOutONE
will automatically fade in the next song when it finishes
UNTICK ‘Chain’ to make PlayOutONE wait
after the selected song
THIS MEANS YOU CAN TALK WITHOUT
THE NEXT SONG STARTING TO PLAY AND
INTERRUPTING YOUR SEXY LINK
PRO TIP!
- STATION BRANDING
Use QR Stings in between songs or links
to make your show sound extra slick
Stings to use during
your show are categorised
as ‘Idents’
Just drag them in to your playlist from
the MEDIA FINDER like any other song
file
