Each stand-alone module provides complete step-by-step instructionin the use o an instrument classi cation. For example, the module on universal curetsprovides complete instruction on the use o universal curets. This chapter does not relyon the student having studied the previous module on sickle scalers be ore beginning theuniversal curet module. This stand-alone module structure means that it is not necessaryto cover the instrument modules in any particular order or even to include all o themodules. I sickle scalers, or example, are not part o the school’s instrument kit, thismodule does not need to be included in the course outline.tEXtBOOK FEAtURES1. Module outlines.
