We Couldn't Have Done It Without You!
We extend a heartfelt thank you to the individuals and organizations who contributed to Operation Holiday. In a
time when many funding sources have been forced to cut back on their support, Operation Holiday became more
dependent on the generosity of individuals and businesses. Your support made it possible for Inter-Faith
Ministries to assist 4,266 families living at or below the poverty level through Operation Holiday. Families
received food, cards for perishable food, and gently-used coats. Toys for their children were also provided by the
US Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots.

"I want to help someone," Miranda said as she presented
her gift, savings from her allowance, to Operation Holiday.
Miranda (age 6), brother Nate (age 9), sister Mykah (age 3)
and sister Gabriella (age 1), not pictured, came with their
mom to the distribution center with a donation of several
containers of peanut butter and canned vegetables.
Miranda and her family are an example of the generous and
caring people who made donations of food, cash, coats, and
their time to Operation Holiday.

Celebrating 125 Years of Service
In 1885, a group of Protestant Christian leaders
formed a charitable coalition to assist disadvantaged
and poor individuals in the Wichita area. During our
125 years, the coalition of religions has grown to
reflect the increasing diversity of spirituality,
welcoming all faiths to work together toward common
goals.
The existing goals, programs, and projects of Inter-
Faith Ministries focus on strengthening our
community's neighborhoods:
� Emergency shelter for the homeless
� Permanent affordable housing with case
managers for the formerly homeless and
disabled
� Free after-school mentoring and activities for
neighborhood children
� A holiday program that provides food to
14,000 individuals annually
� Opportunities to build fellowship and religious
understanding
