Involvement to International Projects<br />
CLSU has been involved in two international projects funded by Erasmus+<br />
Programs: The <strong>Internationalization</strong> of Higher Education at the Philippines<br />
Network or ANTENA Project and Curriculum Development in<br />
Agroecology (CDAE) Project.<br />

CLSU-SEARCA-UC International Summer-term<br />
Program<br />
The International Summer Program of <strong>Central</strong> <strong>Luzon</strong> <strong>State</strong><br />
<strong>University</strong> (CLSU) is an intensive practical virtual training program<br />
for international students from partner universities who are<br />
interested in the fields of natural sciences such as agriculture,<br />
fisheries, veterinary medicine, and other allied fields. This shortterm<br />
training program is the pilot international offering of CLSU in<br />
cooperation with the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate<br />
Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA). The program was<br />
conducted on July 19 – 29, 2021.
International Research Project<br />
The <strong>Central</strong> <strong>Luzon</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>University</strong> (Philippines) and the Tamagawa<br />
<strong>University</strong> (Japan) signed a collaborative research agreement held last<br />
July 13, 2021, through a virtual ceremony. The project, which will be<br />
implemented this year until 2026, intends to establish an integrated<br />
technology systems for the control of diseases in banana and cacao.<br />
The Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), and the Japan<br />
International Cooperation Agency (JICA) under the “Science and<br />
Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development”<br />
(SARTREPS) are the agencies that will support the aforesaid endeavor.
CLSU’s International Student Mobility thru Pre-Service Student<br />
Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia or the SEA-Teacher Program, this<br />
program is initiated by SEMEO which aims to provide opportunity for preservice<br />
student teachers from universities in Southeast Asia to have<br />
teaching experiences (practicum) in schools in other countries in<br />
Southeast Asia.
