A BIT ABOUT ME<br />

I became a conceptual copywriter because it was a perfect<br />

fit for me. It allows me to do what I love most: play with<br />

words and ideas.<br />

Throughout my 14-year career, I’ve also found myself to be a<br />

natural leader and mentor — something I find to be incredibly<br />

rewarding. And that's why I strive to create a positive,<br />

supportive and inspiring atmosphere at work, so that<br />

SKY CREATIVE, MAY 2022 - PRESENT<br />

I create copy for most areas of the business, including Sky TV, Sky Broadband<br />

and Sky Mobile, across a variety of channels, like email, direct mail and social<br />

media. I work in a leadership role, helping the CD in numerous ways, such as<br />

overseeing projects, reviewing work, mentoring, presenting to senior<br />

stakeholders and liaising with resource management and account management.<br />

I developed concepts, crafted copy and acted as a tone of voice guardian for<br />

Jaguar and Land Rover UK. I also reviewed the work of midweight and junior<br />

copywriters.<br />

I assisted both agencies and in-house clients, on a repeat and ad hoc basis.<br />

Brands included Virgin Atlantic, The International Red Cross, Jaguar and British<br />

Gas.<br />

PALMER HARGREAVES, APR 2011 - AUG 2012<br />

As the only copywriter in this small, close-knit team, I was responsible for<br />

creating big ideas and crafting them into integrated campaigns, together with<br />

my art director partner. Clients included Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-<br />

Benz, AGA and Berghaus.<br />

Junior Copywriter<br />

OGILVYONE DNX, AUG 2009 - APR 2011<br />

I distilled complicated subjects into engaging copy for a range of B2B tech<br />

clients, including Cisco WebEx, SAP and SITA. I also worked on concepts and<br />

copy for non-tech brands, such as Clinique, The Body Shop, DKNY, Wonderbra,<br />

Shock Absorber and London Gatwick Airport.<br />
