Born October 1995, the conscientious and conscious
Fanele "Efnell" Mnguni hales from Empangeni, the
hidden gem of the KwaZulu Natal Province in South
Africa.
His Classical African Music blended with indigenous
sounds appeals to all ages and tells stories of his
personal experiences. He makes music to bring hope,
inspiration & awareness to the hopeless.
Being a musician has been inspiring and challenging at
the same time because it has been of the utmost
importance to be credible.
He loves coming up with different ideas and bringing
about change with his touch of magic.
The committed and self-driven rapper grew up as a loner
and preferred reading, writing, listening to music; and
spending time with his family.
He started recording in 2009 with ZeeGee. Which song?
He’s currently working pm a 7 song EP, a single from the
EP and a radio tour. After that he plans to do an album
Efnell has performed at the Vuco Lounge, Esikhawini,
Musiholiq 035 Shisanyama and the Umhlathuze Festival
amongst others.
Efnell has shared the stage with the likes of Khuzani,
Qhosha Ngokwenza, Kwakhe, Zakwe, Mzulu, Cevuzile,
ZeeGee, Zola7, , Duncan, and Stilo Magolide to name a
few.
Efnell has also appeared on Zululand FM, RiseFM, Icora
FM, Sunday Sun, Bay Watch and Zululand Observer.
