At the outset we wouldlike to congratulate “Angana” Horamavu Mahila Vibhagfor starting a digital WhatsApp monthly Magazine startingFeb 2022. A first one of its kind. Congratulations for itsmembers, We wish Smt Sreedevi Satish President Angana,Smt Lalini Mohan Secretary Angana and team all thevery best. We also congratulate Sarjapura Mahila Vibhag“Sarayu” for conducting an online Wellness Session by Dr.Niranjana G Nair.With the Covid third wave slowly coming to a rest andthe restrictions being relaxed to an extent, we lookforward for our Mahila Vibhags to conduct physicalmeetings, maintaining the Covid protocols. Very soon aphysical Core Committee meeting is planned, details ofwhich shall be intimated in the WhatsApp groups. It isheartening to mention that though major activities couldnot be conducted during the past two years due to theCOVID 19 pandemic, our members have been activewith their online programmes and have been stayingconnected ensuring wellness of each member and theirfamilies. Now we need to slowly regain our old vigourand energetically go ahead with more service orientedactivities.Let us start with organizing programmes for InternationalWomen’s Day on 8 Mar 2022 at our respective centres.Happy Women’s Day to all and Looking forward to moreservice oriented activities in the days to come.Smt Shobhana Ramadas Smt Rajalakshmy R NairMahila Board Rep Mahila ConvenorJayamahalMahila Vibhag “Jyothi” Jayamahal Karayogam conductedits monthly meeting for the month on 6 Feb 22 on Googlemeet. President Smt Sujatha Harikumar welcomed all themembers to the meeting. Smt Shobhana Ramadas Secretarypresented the minutes and Smt Indu Sunil Treasurerpresented the accounts. Birthday wishes were conveyed toDr (Smt) Susheela Devi. During the meeting the followingdecisions were taken : -(a) To start online Narayaneeyam Classes everysecond Sunday of the month between 5 pm and 6pm by Smt Lakshmi Kumaran. Classes will startfrom 13 Feb 22.(b) Online Hanuman Chalisa classes on fourthSunday of the month between 5 pm and 6 pm byDr. (Smt) Susheela Devi. Classes will start from27th Feb 22.Members were requested to inform their friends andrelatives, and join the session to make it a grand success.The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by Smt LathaRaveendran, Jt Secretary.MangaloreThe EC meeting of February 2022 was conducted on 5thFebruary, at 4.30 pm as a virtual meeting. President Mrs.Jayalakshmi welcomed all, specially the new members.The meeting started with a prayer followed by Acharyavandanam. In memory of all the departed souls, a silent prayerwas observed. Secretary Mrs. Prabha Vijayakumar read outthe minutes of January 2022. All were happy and wished ourMangalore Karayogam all the best on its 16th anniversary.We discussed and decided to celebrate Weman’s day onMarch 8th inviting an outside guest. It was requested to allmembers to participate actively in all our KNSS activitieslike the KNSS picnic this month 12 th .
