ABOUT US
University Student Housing, LLC, referred to as USH Affiliated Housing Communities, is a private non-profit
organization that provides suite-style and apartment living on West Chester University’s campus. In
choosing to live with USH Affiliated Housing Communities, incoming first-year students live in Allegheny
Hall, Brandywine Hall and Commonwealth Hall, which are located on North Campus. Transfer students
can live in any of our USH Affiliated Housing Communities.
USH Affiliated Housing Communities: Allegheny Hall, Brandywine Hall, Commonwealth Hall, University
Hall, The Village Apartments, and East Village Apartments.
Leasing Process: Incoming first-year and transfer students will choose their preferred on-campus housing
provider (USH Affiliated Housing or WCU-Owned Housing) upon receiving communication from WCU.
Upon choosing to live with USH Affiliated Housing, students will register in our USH Resident Portal and
complete the leasing process, including signing a lease agreement for the full academic year.
Billing & Payments: Students make payments directly to USH at the beginning of each semester. Financial
Aid and student loans can be authorized from their MyWCU to pay for USH Affiliated Housing after
paying all WCU tuition and fees.

FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS
Incoming first-year students who are interested in living in USH Affiliated Housing have the opportunity to
live in Allegheny Hall, Brandywine Hall, and Commonwealth Hall. Incoming students are typically assigned
to a one bedroom double suite, three bedroom double suite, or two bedroom double suite with shared
bathroom. However, other suite styles may be assigned based on availability.

Incoming first year students that chose USH Affiliated Housing are able to live in suite style residence halls on North Campus. Students are typically assigned to a one-bedroom double
suite, two-bedroom double suite, or three-bedroom double suite. Other suite styles may be assigned based on availability.

TRANSFER STUDENTS
Incoming transfer students that chose USH Affiliated Housing have the option to live in our garden style
apartments located on South Campus or our suite style rooms on North Campus.
