Starttime: 9am.The reason for thepostponement (from SatJan 22) was the Club’sconcern for the healthof those attending, giventhe recent dramaticincrease in cases ofCovid-related illness andhospitalization.The Lions Club isputting plans in place toensure that appropriatesocial distancing willbe possible. Masks andproof of vaccination willbe required.Those who attendthe Breakfast canlook forward to someenhanced featuresrelated to the Citizen ofthe Year award.The first award waspresented in 1973 and2022 marks the 50thanniversary, so the Lionswant to honor not onlythis year’s recipient,but also give specialrecognition to pastrecipients who are ableto attend.In addition to theCitizen of the Yearaward, the Lions willpresent the WilliamHansen Youth of the Yearaward to Maddie Cush,president of the Leo Clubat the High School.Tickets for theBreakfast are $15 ($10for those age 12 andunder). Exception: Theremay be no such thingas a free lunch, butformer Citizens get to eatbreakfast for free.
