BRODIT IN SWEDEN
The Brodit saga began in the year 1983 when taxi driver Ebbe
needed a place to keep the mobile phone receiver while driving.
After the shift he went home to his garage, bent a piece of plastic
and attached it to the dashboard. Ebbe’s solution was soon
noticed by his colleagues, and as a true entrepreneur he met the
growing demand and founded Brodit. Today, Brodit has widened
the product range and grown into a global market leader in vehicle
communication device mounting solutions.
Brodit is located in Karlsborg, Sweden. In-house design, development
and manufacturing ensures full control of all details and is essential
for highest quality, short lead times and delivery safety. Brodit’s priority

safety and productivity when viewing, accessing and operating

use. Easily slide your device in and out of the holder with a onehand
grip. You have full access to the camera and all outlets and
buttons when docked. With tilt swivel, so you can adjust the angle

EASY-SWITCHING SYSTEM
The easy-switching system enables you to upgrade the holder
only, and keep the installed cables. When upgrading to a new device,
you do not need to make a full installation. Same goes for
maintenance in case of warranty or damage. You simply disconnect
the holder from the charging cable via the Molex 6-pin quick
connector, and then connect the new holder. The switch is done
in a few seconds.

AMPS AND VESA HOLES
Brodit products are available with industry standard hole patterns,
such as AMPS and VESA 75/100. Most of the product range come
with AMPS holes, and larger cradles also have the VESA standard
holes. This means that all Brodit products fit together; you can
match any device holder or cradle with any mounting platform and
make a quick and easy installation. Screws are included.

KEY LOCK &
SPRING STUD LOCK
The key lock block comes with a standard key (2 keys included) to
make it easy to manage a large fleet of holders without having to
track individual keys. Random keys can be requested at the time
of purchase for more secure environments.
The spring lock block provides some additional security for holding
the device in place in environments that have excessive vibration.

The robust design Module Upgrade Cradles are available with
