This catalogue presents Made in Kosovo products and services which are currently exported or assessed as being ready for export. It features 128 companies from sectors that have the potential to generate revenues through exports: Wood Processing, Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Food and Drinks, and others. The vast majority of these companies export their products and services to various countries in Europe and other regions around the world. Most of the featured companies are members of business and sector associations which are also presented in the catalogue. These main sector associations provide various support to member companies, including advocating with the government on behalf of its members to ensure that the sectors attract new business and investment, encouraging innovation, sharing information, facilitating access to new markets, promoting exports, and providing business support services and trainings on product improvements and international standards. This catalogue was prepared by the USAID Kosovo Compete Activity with the aim of promoting Kosovo products and services and increasing Kosovo exports. This five-year USAID activity aims to promote resilient, self-sustaining market systems and to facilitate Kosovo private sector’s improved competitiveness in local, regional, and global markets. The activity utilizes a market systems approach focusing in three key export-oriented sectors – Wood Processing, Food Processing and ICT – to increase their competitiveness sustainability.

Kosovo Manufacturing Club (KMC) is a business organization established in November 2015 that advocates for policy changes representing local manufacturers, increase

cooperation between local manufacturers and relevant actors and raises public awareness about the impo ance of local products consumption and promotes “Made in Kosovo”

products.

KMC is the voice of manufacturers. All activities and programs KMC unde akes are related to creating oppo unities to develop the manufacturing sector, strengthen it and

increase the competitiveness of manufacturing companies. KMC stimulates success for manufacturing companies by helping them meet their goals and objectives. Thus, KMC

empowers the various manufacturing sectors and inspires future generations. It enables manufacturers to network, share, solve problems, and create new oppo unities together.

The Kosovo Manufacturing Club suppo s the manufacturing sector to create a digital, global, and green future. Its commitment is focused on ensuring that manufacturing

companies have strong leadership, solid processes, technical skills, and competitiveness. Within its programs and activities, the focus of KMC is on the following three objectives:

Advocacy

Advocacy is also a central pa of KMC, aiming to in uence the relevant institutions to advance and improve policies towards local manufacturers. It works with policymakers on

issues impo ant to the industry. KMC is commi ed to working with institutions to develop economic policies that enable the sustainable development of the manufacturing sector,

with a focus on increasing the competitiveness of manufacturing companies in the domestic and foreign markets.

Training

The work and activities of KMC focus on identifying needs as well as nding solutions for the training and development of employees in the manufacturing sector. Its work with

manufacturing companies includes needs assessment, training content development in various manufacturing sectors, and professional training and vocational training of

workers.

Expo

One of the main focuses of KMC is expo growth services. Because this focus is crucial to the success of the competitiveness of Kosovo manufacturers, KMC has assembled a

team of professionals who provide various services for the expo of goods outside Kosovo. This way, KMC enables manufacturers to focus their a ention and energies on their core

value-added production activities.

These three pillars of focus of KMC's activities are based on its long-term strategy named 4E that includes Energy, Economic Diplomacy, Employment and Environment.
