Oil Agglomeration Process<br />
� CFRI developed an emerg<strong>in</strong>g process called “Oil-<br />
Agglomeration” for the effective <strong>beneficiation</strong> of <strong>coal</strong><br />
<strong>f<strong>in</strong>e</strong>s, <strong>f<strong>in</strong>e</strong>ly ground high ash <strong>coal</strong>s and washery<br />
middl<strong>in</strong>gs. The process has three dist<strong>in</strong>ct merits<br />
� High yield of cleans with very low loss of<br />
carbonaceous matter through tail<strong>in</strong>gs.<br />
� Easy dewater<strong>in</strong>g characteristics of cleans and<br />
� Improvements <strong>in</strong> the cok<strong>in</strong>g propensities of the<br />
cleans.<br />
� Coal <strong>f<strong>in</strong>e</strong>s or <strong>f<strong>in</strong>e</strong>ly ground high ash <strong>coal</strong> / middl<strong>in</strong>gs <strong>in</strong><br />
thicken slurry under controlled pH are agitated <strong>in</strong> a<br />
suitable designed condition<strong>in</strong>g vessel with m<strong>in</strong>eral oil
