As a financial advisor, Nick believes it is important to invest his time in<br />

developing deep relationships. Developing mutual trust with you and<br />

gaining understanding of your unique situation allows him to create<br />

appropriate and comprehensive strategies tailored to your needs.<br />

Whether for personal estates or businesses, Nick's goal is to work<br />

closely with you toward the most important long-term financial goals.<br />

EDUCATION<br />

Nick developed his investment experience and insurance planning<br />

expertise over the past 12 years. 10 of those years were at Edward<br />

Jones where he was recognized for his client service excellence<br />

(2011-2017) and served on the Hawaii leadership team (2010-2018).<br />

Nick completed a bachelor’s of business administration with a major<br />

in finance, options and the derivative markets from the University of<br />

Hawaii Manoa.<br />

He also earned the AAMS® (Accredited Asset Management Specialist)<br />

and AIF® (Accredited Investment Fiduciary) professional designations<br />

and holds registrations, licenses, and designations recommended<br />

for his work as a financial advisor: Series 7, Series 66, State Life and<br />

Health Insurance licenses for Hawaii, California, Washington, Michigan,<br />

Texas and Florida.<br />

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND<br />

With a background in engineering for the Central Intelligence Agency,<br />

Clifton Yasutomi began his financial advising practice with Merrill Lynch<br />

in 2005. He has been a special guest on business talk radio and was<br />

a regular contributor to the Wall Street Business Network with weekly<br />

“Money Thought” radio commentaries. Clifton regularly conducts financial<br />

education classes focused on retirement planning and tax strategy and<br />

was previously a member of the National Society of Financial Educators<br />

and a volunteer with Junior Achievement of Hawaii.<br />

In 2014 Clifton completed studies to earn the Certified Wealth Strategist<br />

CWS® designation from the Cannon Financial Institute, and in 2019 he<br />

attained the AIF® designation demonstrating an understanding of the<br />

Prudent Practices® and methodology.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

Clifton is the Chairman of the Salvation Army Echelon Group, former<br />

board member of the Iolani Alumni Association, and was the youngest<br />

Rotary Club president in Hawaii. He also serves his church at Grace Bible<br />

Honolulu as a board member and leads a weekly Bible study with his<br />

wife, Renee. Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his sons<br />

(5 years and 2 years), surfing, basketball, golf, and photography.<br />
