Buzz Ridl Towering Titan Golf Outing and Dinner
July 26, 2010 - New Castle Country Club
The Towering Titans will hold their annual golf outing Monday, July 26, 2010, at New Castle Country Club in New Castle. Tee time will
be a shotgun start at 1 p.m. We invite all TTO members to join us for a day of relaxation and fun. This is also a great opportunity to
introduce new people to the organization. Make up a foursome and we will provide prizes, refreshments and a great day. To accommodate
a full field and to maintain the pace of play, all participants will once again play a four-player scramble format. There is a discount
available for early registration. We will also allow players to purchase mulligans (limit one per player) for $5, and a team “Skins Game”
will be available for interested teams. Contact Westminster AD Jim Dafler at (724) 946-7313 with any questions on the format. This is
our 11th year for promoting hole sponsorships. If you or your company are interested, please check the appropriate box on the entry
form and return with a check and correct sign information. All hole sponsorship proceeds benefit our athletic training room.

The Towering Titans at a glance
Providing support for Westminster’s athletic programs is the Towering Titan Organization (TTO), formed in 1976
around a core of devoted, loyal and intensely interested alumni, parents and friends. The organization purposes itself to help
maintain, improve and endow Westminster College’s athletic programs.
Over $3 million in gifts have been contributed to the Towering Titan Fund since its inception.
The annual income is distributed in this manner: 90 percent of all donations go directly to the sport(s) chosen (donations
can be designated to a specific sport for men or women), with 10 percent going towards the operation and promotion of the
fund. All 20 varsity sports for men and women benefit from the fund.
A minimum gift of $30 qualifies a donor for membership. Members receive a membership card, issues of the Towering
Titan Newsletter and invitations to social events such as golf outings each July, and recognition dinners and ceremonies that
are scheduled periodically. Qualifying gifts are also recognized through membership in Westminster’s Giving Clubs. For more
