HOW IT ALL STARTED
BIOK Laboratory was founded in 1988 by five
passionate biochemists, who shared an
extraordinary drive to innovate by solely using
natural ingredients. Today, it's Lithuania’s largest
manufacturer of personal hygiene and skin care
products. We constantly raise the bar by working
with the best of the best in the global fields of
biology, chemistry, odontology, dermatology
and cosmetics.

transparency. This way of working has proved to be very
successful. Our products are recognized by dermatologists
and dental care professionals from all over the world. And
our high-quality standards are embraced by people in the

NEW BIOK LAB FACTORY
• We have the capacity to make up to 25
million cosmetics every year.
• A new toothpaste production line, the
most advanced in the Baltic States,
has been installed, capable of
generating over 10 million pieces of
toothpaste.

CREATIVE R&D LAB
AND COLLABORATIONS
Our laboratory consist of experienced in-house
chemists, cosmetologists and pharmacists
who create innovative formulas and textures
enriched with plant-based, herbal, bio-technological
and synthetic active ingredients for healthy skin,
hair and teeth. Next to this, we often collaborate -
and innovate - with third parties such as
universities, pharmaceutical companies and topnotch
dentists.

range of brands ECODENTA, KILIG and
MARGARITA we challenge conventions and
create out of this world formulas, textures and
products. From cutting-edge moussy creams and
ingenious mouthwash to gels formed with unique,
never before seen, components - owned by us.

UNIQUE INGREDIENTS
Yes, we use extra extraordinary ingredients. Such
as natural calcium ingredient. It strengthens
enamel and fills micro-cracks and scratches. Or
natural green tea extract, which effectively wipes
out plaque and naturally whitens teeth. We use
mineral water which remineralizes and
strengthens enamel, but it also provides an anticavity
effect and gives you extra fresh breath.
These and other innovative ingredients enrich our
ECODENTA toothpaste.

ONE OF A KIND
BIOK LAB Spirulina® with Tigernut oil is
another one of our exclusive ingredients.
It has been created especially for our KILIG
certified COSMOS NATURAL line by French
laboratory OLÉOS.
And because of its unique properties, we also
use it in some of our ECODENTA toothpaste
formulas.

MANUFACTURING
STANDARDS
Our in-house production process is based on the
the International Organization for
Standardization (ISO), Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP)
and Lean standards.
We strictly use tested ingredients from the EU
and everything is supervised by our own in-house
Quality Management Department.
