HOW ARE REAL ESTATE AGENTS PAID?
Customarily, the seller will offer a fee to the realtor who helps market and sell the home
and a fee to the realtor who assists the buyer with the purchase. Usually this fee is a
percentage of the sales price. So, realtors working with buyers are typically paid a
success fee at closing by the seller. A buyer will typically not directly pay for the realtor's
services.
