“Our Families” mean so much to us. They can be our parents, spouses, children, grand and/or
greats, best friends and/or pets.
St. Paul’s Historical Ministry is developing a Booklet titled “Remembering and Honoring Our
Ancestors, Families, Church Families, Friends”.
Dear Church Family,
HONOR: You are invited to “honor your family’s history” by placing your history in the Booklet.
As Pastor Meyer stated in his first Black History sermon 2022, “history is important. We
learn from it; it’s a story and a chronicle record of events.”
HELP: As the oldest African American Church in Columbus, we are anxious to preserve as much
of our history as we can NOW. Please help by participating in this endeavor.
OPPORTUNITY: Submit your history camera ready (8X11; type size 10 or 12 pt,Times Roman
font). See attached sample. This opportunity is being offered for $100 per page which includes
one free copy; additional copies will be $25. Additional copies must be ordered at $25 each.
Note: Your copy must be camera ready.(AS IS), if you need to have your information typed
contact me.
PAYMENT*: Your payment of $100 can be made via a check payable to: St. Paul AME
Church/Historical Ministry and mailed to St. Paul AME Church, 639 E. Long Street, Columbus,
OH c/o Ms. Margaret Tabor. You may use the electronic payment but indicate Historical
Ministry so you will be credited for your page.
DEADLINE: Camera ready copy and payment are due no later than April 30. Email your page to
stpaul6636@aol.com..any time before April 30.
Proceeds will go to the cost of printing and to the Church’s community outreach designated
by Rev. M.
