onSeptember16oflastyear.
WinniewasadevoteddadtohisboysOlieandArchie,partnertoTash,sontoWynand
JayneandbrothertoLee,Neil,andKieran.Hewaslovedbyalhisfamily,friendsandthe
wholecommunity.
Winniewastrulyapopularmanwhoworkedandplayedhard.Aloyalfriendtosomany.
Healwayshadasmileonhisface.Quicktohelpwheneverhewasneededandwasadored
byhistwoboys.
Hespenthistimeovertheyearsplayingfootbal,golfing,shooting,cyclingandmore
recenttohispasingspenthistimedoingMotocros/enduro.Whenhefirstgothis
motocrosbike,heknewstraightawaythatwashistruepasion.Hespentmostofhis
weekendswithTashandhis2boysdoingracingwithOliewhichheabsolutelylovedand
livedfor.Heenjoyedspendingtimeoutonthebikeswithhismatestoo.
Winniestartedatunder9/10’sjuniorlevelwithCaerswsandplayedthroughalthejunior
agegroups.Earlydayshewasaverygoodgoalkeeper,winningacoupleof‘most
improvedplayer’trophiesduringthattime.HetrainedwiththeWelshschoolboyteam
duringthistime,receivingsomeonetoonecoachingfrom RuselCadwalader.Aftera
coupleofseasonsoutoffootbaltopursueotherinterests,hereturnedtofootbalwith
Sundayleagueteam theUnicorn,Thenthelion,CaerswsinwhichhisproudbrotherLee
managed,andheplayedalongsidehisotherbrothers,NeilandKieran.Herehegotthe
chancetoplayoutfield,somethinghe’dalwayswantedtodo.
Winnieprovedtobeatalentedmidfielderandwasan
importantmemberofanyteam herepresentedduringthat
time,helpingteamstoleagueandcupwinningpositions.
ThomasplayedforafewdiferentCaerswsteams,including
representingthefirstteam intheMontgomeryshirecup.He
thenspentafewseasonsinCarno,playingforbothfirstsand
reservesteam (laterofwhichhewasteam captainof).Hewas
agreatrolemodelonandofthepitchandwilbetruly
misedbyeveryonewhowasluckyenoughtoknowhim.

whowasfuloflaughter.HetragicalypasedawayonFriday29th
July2011atjust12yearsofageattherecreationground.Helived
lifetothefulbyplayingfootbal,ridinghisBMXandracingquad,
golfing,fishingandonhisUncle'sfarm andalsohelpingoutathis
Grandad's.Hewasverymuchlikedandlovedinthevilageof
Caersws.Caseywasarealcharacteraroundthevilagewhowould
talktoanyonefrom youngtoold,heatendedCaerswsandHafren
primarythenNewtownhighschool,andismisedbythewhole
community.Caseylovedgetinghishandsdirtywithhisdadinthe
buildingtradeandfixingthings.
HewasthemuchlovedsonofShan,thelateNickBreeseand,
specialbrothertoTasha,LauraandalsoKelywhowealsowould
liketorememberfolowingherdeathin2013.Kelywashard
workingquietgirlyetveryambitiouswithlifeandwasplanningan
adventuretoAustraliawithherfriend.Shewasdoinghealthand
socialcareincolegebeforeherpasing.Ourheartsgoouttothe
entireBreesefamilyandfriends.
