UNIVERSITY PROJECT

Year : 2021

Place: Kadıköy, Istanbul.

BRIEF: This project is located in an area in the Caferağa neighborhood of Kadikoy, which is

a site in the south of the lively Moda district, which includes a number of cafes, theaters and

cinemas.

This neighborhood is relatively higher than others in the number of elderly people, and is

relatively quieter than the northern region.

One of the challenges was to provide a place for adults and young people in a common

environment suitable for both.

The project includes an open café and another one for students and people who want to sit in

a quiet place to study or read. The project also includes a cinema hall and a central garden for

all.

Acil durum mimarlık

UNIVERSITY PROJECT

Year : 2020 Place: FATIH, Istanbul.

BRIEF: This project is located in the courtyard of the Al-Fateh

Mosque, which according to the municipality's instructions is an

emergency gathering place.

The goal is to gather people temporarily in units designed in a fun

and beautiful way to be transported within 30 minutes outside

the walls of the old city because the old area is not completely

safe in the event of an earthquake, for example.

These units are flexible and foldable to sleep in or to sit and take

cover from the sun.

Homeless people may also use these units to sleep and take

shelter at night.

The design is light and prefabricated to preserve the historical

site of the mosque.

Balat gençlik kafe

UNIVERSITY PROJECT

Year : 2020

Place: BALAT, Istanbul.

This is a youth café project in a very lively area of Balat, Istanbul.

This café had to be designed on a small plot with a restriction in height due to the conditions

of the place and the land.

This limited space was used to design a cafe that attracts young people, especially university

students.

The design colors are inspired by the colorful buildings that Balat area is famous for, with

a modern design.

A colored glass object cuts through the block in the space between the big block and the

small block, allowing light to enter all the interior parts, adding a kind of joy to the place.
