A RECIPE FROM RAYMOND
I sit writing this in the most
bucolic of settings - we are
lucky in that our offices are
within farmlands (we are
actually housed in a former
hen shed - we say that’s why
we sometimes run around
like headless chickens).
From my desk, I get to
watch the seasons change -
we welcomed the swallows
who put on the most
wonderful of shows - and
only occasionally knocking
into the windows during
their frenzied activity!
COMPETITIONS
We are really looking forward
to the warmer months,
and this issue is certainly
a celebration of that. We
caught up with French
chef Raymond Blanc and
were lucky to have a really
insightful chat with him
about the British food scene
and his love of teaching -
we also managed to nab a
recipe from his latest book.
We’ve also got some
fabulous editorial aimed
at getting the house up
together for the summer
months - with a range of
projects both large and
small to create that home
you’ve always coveted. It
can be really daunting, but
ever so rewarding to refresh
the spaces in your home - so
we have a range of projects
to consider.
We hope you enjoy this
edition - look out for the next
one in September, when we
will be hoping for an Indian
Summer, and shining our
shoes for a new school year.
Until then, school’s out!
