EXPLORE THE UNIVERSE OF HAITIAN ARTISTS AND…
“Beyond the physical world, we are aware of invisible worlds. We perceive and represent the
unseen. We look inside. We use our inner eye. The eye of the soul. We transcend the reality. We
have a sacred connection with a living force that inhabits our art. We feel it. It guides our creativity.
Our art is a medium to express our feelings, our anger, our love. To open the eyes of the collective
and heal it. We have reached a higher state of consciousness. We follow no rules. We have no
barriers. Our art is authentic, narrative, and intuitive. It is spiritual, philosophical, and symbolical.
Welcome to our collective mind.”

…DISCOVER THE LIVING SOUL INHABITING THEIR ART
“We are alive. We are moving through all dimensions, from all directions. We are feelings. We open
our world through the eyes and the touch of our creator, the artist, a gifted human soul. We are
part of his world. We live the same world. You often see us staring at you, making you think, being
disoriented but truly fascinated. We are talking to you. We are messengers. We are healers. We
have something to tell you. Look at us. Your mind is starting to relax and your soul to speak.
Welcome to our secret world.”

KAYAVA
Born in 1984 | Lives in Haiti
Kayava has been both spiritually guided and supported by his uncle who gave him his first pencil
at the age of 12. Strongly inspired by invisible vibes he depicts a world where the voodoo spirits
are brought to life to express and provoke the viewer’s questioning. An up-and-coming Haitian
artist, Kayava has been recognised as one of the most talented artists in the Caribbean. Interest
for his works is growing fast and wide. Some see in Kayava the new Basquiat.
THE MYSTIC EYE
Shadows & Utopia
“We live with spirits. They are part of us. They
are watching us. I can see them, feel them,
talk to them, represent them. They draw the
lines, the forms, the colours of my art. Their
shadows guide my inspiration. My art reflects
the prophecy of the spirits. It expresses deep
mystic, utopic, abyssal messages. Through my
art I reveal to those who can see the hidden
world of my culture and my religion.”

DIVE INTO THE SECRET WORLD OF HAITIAN ART
Haiti took its independence in 1804 to become the
first black colony rejecting the Western imperialism.
For two centuries, Haiti lived in absolute seclusion
from outside trends and customs. Enduring longlasting
sufferance, the people of Haiti has given to its
reality the forms of a dream, impregnated with
mysticism. This idealisation is reflected in its art.
Born in the midst of deep social fractures, Haitian art
reflects a complex tradition embedding African,
European and Amerindian cultures with Christian,
Voodoo and Freemasonry beliefs. Its creative and
visual intricacy reflect the richness of Haitian history
and culture, unique to this land of miscegenation.

The art will not only cause you storms of feelings but
will deeply strike you with their message and shape
your perspectives not only towards the world but
towards yourself. A triumph, a selection of breathtaking
masterpieces that should stand among the
greatest collections of our time.”
Maria Papadopoulou, Art historian
Andre Breton, Jean-Paul Sartre and Andre Malraux
claimed Haitian art as an important contribution to
the field of art. Over years, Haitian artists forged its
singularity to become world famous and amaze art
critics and collectors around the world.
Haitian artists question our collective unconscious.
They reveal the sacred. Their art revives a new
humanism with vibrant colours and deep meaning.
They have a message for us.
From the Revolution, the resonance of Haiti has been
fundamental in modern societies. It is time today to
listen its artists and give Haiti the place it deserves.
M. Edmond, Ambassador of Haiti in the USA (former Ministry of
Foreign Affairs) appreciating Haitian art during “DNA”
exhibition in London organised and curated by AYITI Gallery.
MAKENOL PROFIL
Born in 1979 | Lives in Haiti
Makenol has pursued art ever since the day he took his first pencil from his uncle Jonas Profil on
March 12th, 1998. Inspired by his cultural and spiritual roots he has gradually developed his
own style picturing a surreal vision of rural life in Haiti where nature and humans live in synergy.
Due to his unique fineness Makenol benefits from a fast growing International recognition.

Nature & Humanity
“Nature witnesses our actions and nurtures
our beliefs. Nature conveys messages from the
past to the present. My paintings reflect this
synergy between trees & humans. They live
together protecting & nurturing each other. My
work invites you to enter a secret world. A
world where you can visualize the peaceful
nature of a true harmony. My stories illuminate
those who still believe that Nature is an
artefact.”

MEET WITH THE CREATIVE MINDS OF HAITI
Our artists are remarkable for their ingenuity, their
narrative and their artistic potential. They advance
the discourse and the aesthetics of art by creating
thoughtful, intricate and fascinating artworks.
Our artists remind us of renowned masters (Dali,
Picasso, Bosch, Basquiat…) and their works are
often associated with fundamental art movements
(surrealism, cubism, pointillism, primitivism…).
However they are self-taught. They have established
their own style. They don’t duplicate any artist nor
any trend. They never received any art education nor
have a connection to art history nor have yet been
greatly exposed to the global art world.
This isolation has preserved the authenticity of their
art and freed them from Western influences.
“A beautiful collection of works and a unique array of
artists.”
Anna Gulyavskaya, American Visionary Museum
“Some quality artists who give me a deep look into
their cultural legacy, existing struggles and search for
personal fulfilment."
Alan Freshman, Art consultant
“These works appeal to collectors and museums who
include African, Cuban and Brazilian works in their
collections."
Tamzin Lovell, Sulger-Buel Lovell Gallery
Their creative imagination is deeply rooted into their
culture. They find inspiration into their homeland
Haiti, from its unique history and beliefs. It is what
makes their art impressive and highly inventive.
Our artists are connected to the spiritual world. They
are messengers. They demonstrate the value of
nature, the essence of being human and the
importance of being connected with one another.
Their art is pure and intuitive. They address
fundamental contemporary societal questions. They
show us that life is about sharing, caring and loving.
Our artists Jonas Profil and Makenol Profil (2016)
GINO TINTIN
Born in 1973 | Lives in Haiti
Gino grasped his first pencil in 1990, given by his brother JP Tintin who encouraged his passion
for art. Gino has developed his own artistic style after studying anatomy and autopsy of the
human body. From this experience came these stringy creatures to highlight the creative world of
the Haitian culture where he draws his inspiration. Gino has exhibited in Haiti, France, both
North and South America.
RESONANCE
Elegance & Harmony
“My universe is inhabited with
phantasmagorical figures. They reflect the
freedom of my thoughts, the deepness of my
beliefs. They express my identity, the richness
of my culture, the heritage of my fathers. They
represent wisdom & love. They reveal the
metamorphosis of ideas, of beings, of live, of
societies. My art echoes my spirituality. It brings
serenity to those who dive into the world and
hear the soft melody of these wise creatures.”

ENRICH YOUR LIFE. ENRICH THEIR LIFE.
Our artists represent the new wave of creative minds
that emerges globally and responds to the rising
demand of new art that inspires and galvanizes.
They create transcendental art that stimulates the
inner experience, inviting you to explore secret and
magical wonderlands, awakening your consciousness
and easing your well-being. Our artists are healers.
Their art helps you feel good and empowered.
However, despite their undeniable talent, majority of
Haitian artists live in the shadow. They are remote in
Haiti, with no financial means nor connections. They
struggle to be seen and must find survival ways to
live and support their families.
“"We wanted to buy something unique, inventive,
personal to us and ensure that we would be
supporting talented independent artists. The project
provided all of that and more. The gallery is of a
wonderfully high standard. Alexandre, the founder,
is patient, informed and a trustworthy intermediary.
His vision will spread far. We cannot recommend
working with AYITI Gallery enough.”
Ben and Silvana, Art collectors
This is a huge missed opportunity for them and for
all of us. That is why we stepped in: to share their art
to the world and help them deepen their vision.
Today, when you buy their art, not only you support
the creative and transformative journey of gifted
artists but you also enrich your own life and those
around you. You surround yourself and impress with
unique magical art and enjoy its positive effect on
your mind. You invest in creative people who deserve
light and whose works might grow in value over
years. You join a network of mindful collectors and
instil real change on you and on them.

JONAS PROFIL
Born in 1957 | Lives in Haiti
At 18, Jonas decided to use the money given to him for school to buy art supplies. Since then,
interest and appreciation for his art has significantly developed, with a particular focus on his
fineness to picture his vision. Jonas depicts a harmonious world, a generous and luxurious
Nature, messenger of love, peace and unity. Jonas paints the everyday. The Haitian reality. Jonas
has exhibited in a large number of countries.

everywhere. Love unites humans. I share my

experience of living. However so fragile.
Spirituality helps us to elevate our consciousness

OUR MANIFESTO. WHAT WE STAND FOR.
Despite their undeniable talent and their unique sense of creativity, an infinite number of International artists have
limited access to the International art scene. Their geographic location, their economic situation, their anonymity, the
absence of art education background, the nonconformity of their art and their disconnection with the art world isolate
these artists from the main International art hubs. The art market has become somehow elitist and conservative. It
favours artists who have sufficient financial means to show their work, artists who are able or are enough proactive to
market themselves online and offline, artists who have pursued art studies, artists who follow trends and respond to the
commercial demand of the market, or artists who live in Western countries. It brings artists to compete with one another
on an economic basis and rejects a vast majority of talented artists worldwide. It limits the endless variety and originality
that International artists could show to the world, it distorts the true meaning that originates from the creation of art, it
narrows the notion of art itself influencing the regard, the taste and the decisions of the general public, and it promotes
the duplication of art and artists. The art market has created a replicable business model that runs out of steam and
seeks new inspiration.
Art is more than a product. It’s a vision, the introspection of a soul, a universal language connecting cultures and
individuals together. Art is an invitation to travel.
We are meant to bring change and explore alternatives to nurture the infinite potential of International art and the
creative vision of Inspirational artists.
• We believe in artists first.
• We believe in art as an act of self-expression, with no rules, intuitive, expressive, initiatory, meaningful, and the
inner soul as the main driving source of inspiration.
• We believe in an art that inspires, instructs and provides emotions to people, that opens minds and mentalities,
that influences practices and principles, that expresses a message, a feeling, a state of consciousness, that
transcends a reality.
• We believe in equal opportunities for all talented, creative and inspiring artists to show their work worldwide no
matter their origin, their background, their status, their renown or their connection to the art world.
• We believe that the renown of an artist be based on his/her talent, originality, creativity, the aesthetic of his/her
work, the deepness and pureness of his/her inspiration.
• We believe in new technologies to bring the vision of inspirational artists to life.
• We believe in collaboration instead of competition, bringing in diversity into unity, encouraging the collective rather
than the individual.
• We believe in more inspirational art in our daily life to stimulate collective consciousness, taking art out of the
traditional art premises.
LEVOY EXIL
Born in 1944 | Lives in Haiti
A leading figure of the movement Saint Soleil created over 45 years ago, Levoy is an established
Haitian art master. Intense and colorful patterns surrounded by dots and lines "of light", Levoy's
paintings are mystical and abstract. They depict the Voodoo Loas Marassa, these derive from
Levoy’s African roots and the memory of the Arawak Indians. Levoy has exhibited in nearly 20
countries.
REVELATION
Life & Soul
“I reveal the forms, colours and lines of the Loas,
figures with slanted eyes and long arms, who
guide and protect us. They inspire my art. I depict
an invisible world where doves, spirits and stars
form a colourful mosaic representing the
connection between the real and the spiritual, the
fecundity of Nature, the conciliation of the soul
and the body. The spirits of the Sun have
entrusted me with a mission. My art highlights the

NESLY RICHARD
Born in 1979 | Lives in Haiti
Nesly is the son of Antilhomme Richard, one of the great figures of the Saint Soleil movement.
Nesly’s paintings, tinted with voodoo and magic. Nesly deploys singular spiritual characters upon
the canvas. His style is both bold, like bright suns plunging into purple waters, and whimsical,
like brown cow tails swatting away flies. His work is highly demanded.
SYMBIOSIS
Nature & Spirits
“I source my inspiration in nature. Always in
movement, always regenerating, nature is
strength. I observe it, I listen it, I paint it. Nature
is alive, full of spirits inhabiting trees, animals,
clouds, humans. I invoke them. They show me
their world. They represent power and authority
over the rivers, fields and natural places. Gods
and goddesses of nature appear in my dreams.
Mi-humans, mi-animals. Through my art, I share
my vision to the world.”

EMBRACE THE FUTURE OF ART
Beyond Haiti, we recognised that there are an infinite
number of talented artists worldwide who live in the
shadow of the mainstreamed art. They produce
unseen unique artworks and represent a huge niche
market along new financial and social opportunities.
Considering that the global art market is booming
and progressively expanding, the demand for new
inspirational art is increasing, the mindfulness
movement is rising worldwide, the latest technologies
enable us to create new art experiences, we have
decided to scale up our business and go global.
“What you are trying to do is impressive."
Stephanie Braun, Karin Weber Gallery
“Great project. Very resonant and timely."
Libby Davy, Blogger
"Your vision will spread far."
Yaw Ow-Ny, Blogger
"It’s a very interesting niche market."
Claire Brown, Art consultant
Our vision is to build a more ethical, inclusive and
inspirational new world. By connecting the most
remote and inspiring International artists with the
new generation of mindful and socially responsible
people, we will unveil thousands of fresh, mindstimulating
and avant-garde art through a pioneering
marketplace and streaming platform. We will provide
a new immersive, entertaining and educative art
experience by merging traditional fine art with the
new technologies (3D, Virtual Reality).
Our goal is to enrich the lives and the minds of
millions through art. If you seek innovative and
disruptive solutions to leverage positive change in the
society worldwide, then here we are. Contact us if
you are interested to step in and learn more.

HUGUES FEROL
Born in 1969 | Lives in Haiti
Hugues studied at the National School of Arts (ENARTS) in Haiti in mid 90’s. Inspired by the
Haitian culture and influenced by Fauvism, Hugues has created a phantasmogoric world where
angelic creatures divulge the invisible connection existing between all elements. Hugues’ style is
unique and spontaneous.
THE MIND WORLD
Grace & Liberty
“My art is inspired by the curves of women, by
the musical tunes of our life, by the uniqueness
of my culture. It reflects what I live, what I feel,
what I am. This is my inner. A precious gift. The
extension of my world. A surreal world where
live pure creatures mingling with clouds in
infinite gestures rocked by a sweet melody. My
art spurs the sensorial quest. It provides to
those who step into my world peace, serenity
and liberty.”

“Living in Haiti for years, I have been profoundly
charmed and changed by the beauty and the magic
of its culture. The creativity and the fertility of Haitian
art has given me a new enlightenment to my life. In
2016, I started to share my passion and invest in few
talented artists to support their practice, show their
fascinating art and share their legacy to the world. As
humanity awakens, I trust it is the perfect time to
explore this vibrant and still secret art world.”
