LIVING FOR
IMMORTALITY IN
MORTAL BODIES
pg. 4
CHAPTER ONE: GOD’S PERFECT BLUEPRINTS.
In the beginning God literally created man not to live worldly, though He formed and put man into the
world. In fact, Gods original plan of the creation was not for man to live the way we live in these present
times but His actual design of the earth was for the reign of His Glory, nonetheless under man’s rheostat
(control). Remember in the story of the creation, the earth was not in conclusion of God’s blueprints but
God clearly narrates in Genesis 1:1-2a.
In the beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth.
2a.
the earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very deep. (AMP)
And though the earth was a mess, the Glory of God never left this empty waste filled with darkness even up
to the very great deep.
2b. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. (AMP)
And this is evidence that God had the creation of the earth calculated, premeditated and on plan not
something that came by coincidence during creation, and in His blueprints it was absolutely drafted as a
place for His Glory besides the Heavens which was a place designed as His throne, for He proudly say in
Isaiah 66:1.
And men testify.
1a. Thus says Yahweh, “Heaven is My throne, and the earth is my footstool: (WEB)
Psalm 102:25. At the beginning You existed and laid the foundations of the earth; the heavens are the work
of Your hands. (AMP)
Also it is well elaborated in a number of scriptures which indicate to us God’s authority over the earth and
His input to permit its creation.
a) Moses in Deuteronomy 10: 14 puts it that.
14. Behold, the heavens and the heaven of heavens belong to the Lord your God, the earth also, with all that
is in it and on it. (AMP)
b) Maschil of Ethan the Ezrahite in Psalm 89:11
11: the heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; the world and all that is in it, You have founded them.
(AMP)
c) Solomon in Proverbs 3:19.
19. The Lord by skillful and godly Wisdom has founded the earth; by understanding He has established the
heavens. (AMP)
So with full authority God created man to live on the earth but live a spiritual and godly life.
Oftentimes many people do it religiously to live godly by becoming so well adjusted to their culture that they
want to fit into it without even thinking and this has dragged many to a certain level of immaturity due to
pg. 5
the philosophies they have surrounded themselves with, living many as just church goers, immature and this
has much been revealed in this generation of many pestilences among other calamities, look at especially
this year 2020 where churches are on a lockdown with restriction to church access besides all other
challenges that have left many questioning their faith in the Lord, in my point of view this is all because of
our unpreparedness for spiritual living, forgetting that we do not belong to this world but to the spiritual
realm where our citizenship is. Paul says in:
Philippians 3:20. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus
Christ. (NIV)
Also the Apostle Paul seeing the troubles of our generation he cautioned every one of us; that’s me and you
who is reading this book to be careful how we live in our day to day life. In the book of Romans chapter 12
he plainly puts it. (Message version)
Romans: 12: 1-2.
1. So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: take your everyday, ordinary life, your sleeping, eating,
going to work, and walking around life and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does
for you is the best thing you can do for Him.
2. Don’t become so well adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your
attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what He wants from you, and
quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity,
God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. (MSG)
All this is happening around us due to the complicated efforts we take for our own assistance in spiritual
living which has often proven worthless. As the Apostle Paul said, it is not only to spiritual living, but physical
living as well is by the help of God, which God so many believers only remember at a time when they think
things have pressed too hard on them, many of us have thought that it is the preaching life, the praise and
worshiping life, faith life, hustling life, spiritual and physical healing life which we are supposed to place
before God as an offering and this is why we have carried the burden of the ordinary things for instance
eating, sleeping, employment and even walking around.
But remember the Lord Jesus Christ who we await for salvation said in the book of Mathew chapter 17
taking it from verse 28. He starts with a question, that; “are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion?”
Think about it, sincerely who can be tired or heavy- laden or overburdened with life in its best simplicity.
Truly it can be this way only if we choose to carry the heavy yoke of our day to day life that will make us
worn-out and this is only if we fail to acknowledge and embrace what the Lord God is doing for us even in
our daily labors. And Jesus continues to give us solutions.
Mathew 11:28-30.
28. “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to Me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your
life. I’ll show you (your soul) how to take a real rest.
29. Walk with me and work with me ---watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay
anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.
30. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”(MSG Version)
pg. 6
The Lord is very soon coming back to take to Himself a church without spot or wrinkle. And all the same as
the Lord paid the price by carrying the heaviest yoke of our sins, iniquities and transgressions, we’ve got to
live that rest, rejoicing always for He carried the burdens that we wouldn’t carry on our own and in all this,
He calls us to carry a yoke that is light and simple in the message version it is translated as the unforced
rhythms of grace and He promises not to lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on me or you, so it that simple as
we continue to live; all we’ve got to do is carry His yoke upon us and learn of Him. He gives us a reason as to
why we need to do so when He says; “I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart. And so it is through
this that we will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quietness) for our
souls. So we don’t need to continue carrying the heavy burdens and yokes. For the things we burden to
carry are useless, harsh, hard and sharp pressing, uncomfortable and unpleasant but that which we receive
from Him is simple, wholesome (useful), good, not harsh or hard but comfortable gracious, and pleasant not
at all like your heavy burden. His burden is light and easy to be borne/ easy to carry and God originally
created us for this kind of living [Christ’s Life, this was His original blueprint], a life of rest.
In the old testament God’s purpose of bringing the children of Israel from the land of captivity was intending
to bring them into His rest in a land that flows with milk and honey, but due to disobedience He ended up
making a declaration on oath that none of them would reach this rest and many of them who came out of
Egypt died in the wilderness and never reached the promised land, it was just a few who believed and had
faith in the Lord who reached the promised land; and the next generation of the children and their grand
and great grandchildren.
The Apostle Paul foreseeing in today alerts us in Hebrews chapter 4 about the same, that’s the rest.
Hebrews 4:
1.
Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still holds and is offered [today], let us be afraid [to
distrust it], lest any of you should think he has come too late and has come short of [reaching] it.
2
for indeed we have had the glad tidings [Gospel of God] proclaimed to us just as truly as they [the Israelites
of old did when the good news of deliverance from bondage came to them]; but the message they heard did
not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith (with the leaning of the personality on God in absolute
trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) by those who heard it, neither were they united in
faith with the ones [Joshua and Caleb who heard (did believe).
3
For we who have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on God) do enter that rest, in accordance
with His declaration that those [who did not believe] should not enter when He said, as I swore in my wrath,
they shall not enter My rest; and this He said although [His] works had been completed and prepared [and
waiting for all who would believe] from the foundation of the world. (AMP)
He (the Writer) quotes the time of rest as TODAY; and that rest is not given to the dead but to the living who
believe; although a number of us have also failed to reach His rest because the spirits have died in the
wilderness. On the journey of the children of Israel to the promised land, God revealed his rest by giving
them the Sabbath day, a day of rest, but because of their un-belief they broke the trust of God and many of
them never reached His rest but died off before even reaching the promised land; the Author cautions us to
be careful we who believe today because though the Israelites had heard the gospel of salvation (the good
news of deliverance from bondage), it didn’t benefit them, for it was not mixed with faith; the Amplified
calls it “the total leaning of the entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power,
pg. 7
wisdom and goodness,” and he also opens our eyes to something called unity when he says that neither
were they united in faith with the ones who heard the message and believed (entirely leaned on God in
absolute trust, confidence, wisdom, and goodness) that’s Joshua and Caleb. What I learn from here is that; if
we only here the message (the GOSPEL) and not adhere to it; then it is as if we are wasting time on the long
journey. Not forgetting this that though we seem to be carrying a light yoke; we are still carrying something
which becomes heavier and heavier if we fail to accomplish our task of trusting God and the Savior Jesus
Christ and the only Helper He left for us (the Holy Spirit).
So with the many struggles which sometimes make it hard to fully trust and rely on God; we need to unite
ourselves with those who believe so that we may be able to renew our strength in God and also refresh our
minds. The author of Hebrews in chapter 6: 12 calls it imitating those who through faith and patience inherit
what has been promised; why imitating them? To overcome the danger of falling away, or falling from His
Grace (unmerited Favor) and this is much possible by the advice given to us in Hebrews 10:22-39.
22
Let us all come forward and draw near with true (honest and sincere) hearts in unqualified assurance and
absolute conviction engendered by faith (by that leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute
trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), having our hearts sprinkled and purified from a
guilty (evil) conscience and our bodies cleansed with pure water.
23
so let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our
acknowledgement of it, for He who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.
24
and let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may
stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities,
25
Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble (fellowshipping) together [as believers], as is the habit of some
people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you
see the day approaching. (AMP)
God knew what He was doing, even at the very beginning of all things. He decided to shape the lives of
those who love Him along the same lines as the life of His Son [Eternal Life], because in spite of the
nature man had generated for himself in Eden; every man who believed and loved God by living on the
original plan of intimate relationship and fellowship was untangled (translated) from this nature of
mortality (humanity) to the beautiful nature of God [immortality] and every man who attended to His
call into His rest, He gave the very nature of His Son Who stands first in the line of humanity He restored
back to God. Take the example of Enoch son of Jared in the book of Genesis Chapter five. Genesis 5:24.
Hebrews 11:5.
24. And Enoch walked in [habitual fellowship] with God; and he was seen not, for God took him [home with
Him] (AMP).
Because of faith Enoch was caught up and transferred to heaven, so that he did not have a glimpse
of death and he was not found, because God had translated him. For even before he was taken to
heaven, he received testimony [still on record] that he had pleased and been satisfactory to God.
(AMP)
Enoch didn’t just live a life of humanity like the rest of his ancestors but by the help of the Holy Spirit he
lived in habitual fellowship with God and one day he was simply gone just like that, translated to the very
nature of the Son of God. It was as simple as listening and not hardening his heart.
pg. 8
The Holy Spirit says in Hebrews 3:7-11 that, “Today, when you hear His voice, don’t harden your hearts as
Israel did when they rebelled, when they tested Me in the wilderness. There your ancestors tested and
tried My patience, even though they saw My miracles for forty years. So I was angry with them, and I said,
‘their hearts always turn away from me. They refuse to do what I tell them.’ So in my anger I took an oath:
‘They will never enter My place of rest.’” Therefore as long as it is called TODAY we who have become
fellows with Christ should continue living by the original blueprint of God being firm and unshaken up to the
very end and as we know all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according
to his design and purpose. This design and purpose is not something He is forming all over again but the
original blueprints still stand. And the bible says that those He foreknew, He also destined from the very
beginning to be molded into the image of His Son. But all these are fulfilled and brought into manifestation
by the Holy Spirit just as it was in the very beginning, because we see the Holy Spirit (the Breath of God)
being the manifestation of the Living soul/being during the time of creation. And He Who searches the
hearts of men knows only the mind of the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit shapes us to God’s original will
in purpose and not to the will of our corrupt minds, so that we are proficient for living spiritually.
Romans 8:27-30.
27. And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit
intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.
28. We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are
[fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and
purpose.
29. For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the
beginning [foreordained them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that
He might become the firstborn among many brethren.
30. And those whom He thus foreordained, He also justified (acquainted, made righteous, putting them into
right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to heavenly dignity
and condition or state of being]. (AMP)
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has recreated us anew in Christ
Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
pg. 9
The Bible defines Faith as:
CHAPTER TWO: MAN OF FAITH
Hebrews 11:1
NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the tittle deed) of the things [we] hoped for, being
the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not
revealed to the senses]. (Amplified version)
(Message Version) The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this Faith, is the firm
foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see.
So therefore faith being the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living and the assurance
of these things, we need to engage this tittle deed, for it is this assurance where we build on our spiritual
living continually, trusting fully and totally relying on what our Master told us in that though today we do not
see these realities, but we still stand on this assurance that in the days to come our own faith will take us to
the reality of this life.
The Apostle Paul in the book of Hebrews urges us to always go before God with sincere hearts fully trusting
Him with absolute conviction produced by faith and with the knowledge that our hearts were sprinkled and
purified from a sin conscience and our bodies cleansed with pure water that’s the blood of Jesus Christ for
this faith carries a great and glorious compensation of reward, and so every believer needs this assurance
for by it the righteous shall live: Hebrews 10:38
38
but the just shall live by faith [My righteous servant shall live by his conviction respecting man’s relationship
to God and divine things, and holy fervor born of faith and conjoined with it]; and if he draws back and
shrinks in fear, My soul has no delight or pleasure in him. (AMP)
Not forgetting that this comes only by hearing and hearing by the word of God, so here is the logic; before
you trust, you have to listen, but unless Christ’s voice is heard there’s nothing to listen to. So is it hearing
preachers teach about Jesus Christ in synagogues/ churches and cathedrals: if so, how about a time like this
in 2020 where these places are without access; I’m very knowledgeable of the different media platforms,
but consider times to come for the Lord says in the gospels when the Apostles asked Him about the last days
(end times); He talks about the deadly pestilences, landslides, calamities which we are actually seeing now,
but He says that if we see such things we shouldn’t be deceived for the end is not yet, it is just the beginning
of all this; so if the beginning is as such, then how prepared are you for the coming days; how have you
prepared yourself for the fulfilment of what was spoken by the prophet Daniel and the apostle John; have
you thought of a time when it will not be possible for the media platforms to publish the gospel; a time
when man won’t be able to preach on streets: this cuts across to you who preaches and you who waits to be
preached to; have you fed your mind with enough scriptures to help you endure the coming times. This is
why I personally see need for us to start living in God’s rest by building a personal intimate relationship with
the Holy Spirit of the Most High. For in Psalm 91 Moses writes and says that:
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the
Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. (AMP)
Trust me that no man can dwell in God’s presence without faith, for it was faith that kept Joshua and Caleb
in God’s presence until they reached His rest. And God also gives a promise through Moses in the same
Psalm [Psalm 91] to those who create a personal relationship with Him and says.
pg. 10
14
Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him, I will set him on high, because he knows
and understands My Name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness – trusts and relies on
Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never].
15
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16
With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation. (AMP)
Therefore a man without faith will hardly live spiritually, for it is by the same faith that we await the
salvation of the Lord.
Thanks be to God that Pentecostal churches are sprouting everywhere but as well, there numerous number
is now doing more harm than the good purpose, since everyone who starts up one, comes with their own
intensions and purpose; and not God’s, to the extent that they who start them up do it with ignorance and
just competition and not cooperation; of what harm is it for us to preach the Good news not only with the
intentions of fame or having a big congregation for ourselves, but not other churches that are in place to
grow. Because of the ignorance Pentecostal churches end-up falling from Grace, because we who preach we
are half beaked, we have not allowed to be brood to full hatching and those who have hatched leave
immediately after the hatch, but remember you are leaving the brooder and going into the open space of
scavengers. For example, if a hen hatches chicks and immediately they choose to look for their own food;
they die, some of hunger and some are eaten by scavengers and yet if only they waited for a little while they
could be saved after full maturity. This same thing made the Apostle Paul in Hebrews get worried about
those who have continued to take milk and do not change to solid food, because they never allowed to be
taught enough to full maturity in that even though they now deserve to be teachers they still need someone
to teach them, and hence many have ended up preaching or teaching other people’s ideologies and not
Gospel truth: I say this out of some experience, where I have seen many listening to someone’s sermon
before heading to the pulpit; copying the way they turn, flip the Bible, speak, laugh while on the pulpit and I
wonder whether it is the work of the Holy Spirit or their own input.
The Apostle John in his first epistle tells us about the anointing we carry which surpasses every other
knowledge, able to teach us and direct us in all truth: who is the Holy Spirit.
1John 2:27
But you have received the Holy Spirit, and He lives with in you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you
what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what He teaches is true – it is not a
lie. So just as He has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ. (AMP)
But ask yourself this question, how many times have you read the Bible and don’t ask Him for an
interpretation? But just await the day your pastor will talk about it and you shout on top of your voice that “I
know where you’re heading – preach it man of God. Sometimes it needs us to go beyond the written
scriptures and unveil the hidden mysteries of the Word of God, remember the Holy Spirit according to John
16:13 came to:
1. Guide us into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth) which is God’s Word.
2. Speak the message He receives from God, and not His own, and unquestionably sometimes this
message is not in Scripture but what He hears directly from God.
3. Tell us what will happen in the future (announce and declare things that are to come) [hidden
mysteries].
pg. 11
Therefore if we read the scriptures plainly and stop there, we are limiting the Ministry of the Holy Spirit in
our lives, thinking that more is only revealed to preachers and not to us, but then how will we have faith (the
firm foundation/assurance of things hoped for) if the Holy Spirit doesn’t speak to us and also, tell us what is
yet to come. Even the bible says that; “hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already
has?” but if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently and when we do we allow the
Holy Spirit to speak on our behalf and to tell us what is yet to come in and in turn strengthening our Faith.
Romans 8:24-26.
24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet
hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we
ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (KJV)
In the same way our father in faith Abraham, was accredited to have faith but without any written scripture;
he didn’t read it anywhere that Hannah was barren, believed God and gave birth to a son. But it was just
told to him by the Holy Spirit through the Word of God by God Himself; that he will be the father of many
nations and he believed this even at a time when his wife Sarah was at passed menopause; why passed
menopause and not in menopause, she already seemed expired to conceive but he still believed. Today for
us we can read this in the scriptures and be encouraged; but trust me only if you have the ability to go
beyond reading a scripture and you start viewing the Word Himself speaking to you by the Holy Spirit, this is
when you will ever see the reality of spiritual living.
All the men of faith according to Hebrews 11, never looked at the priceless things they had when they
choose to believe God, because they knew that what they already had could not be hope, but they hoped
for what was not seen and this gave them the opportunity that though dead in body, they are alive in spirit
and have received the promises they only saw afar off. Therefore I urge you to develop your faith life
knowing that you are just going through this life but much more is yet to come. Live by faith and please God,
for without faith no one can ever please God.
Hebrews 11:
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his
house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance,
obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age,
because she judged him faithful who had promised.
12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the
sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them,
and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to
have returned.
16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for
he hath prepared for them a city. (KJV)
Man is justified by Faith independent of and distinctly apart from works.
pg. 12
CHAPTER THREE: FELLOWSHIP/COMMUNION, PRAYER AND UNITY.
The Apostle Paul in (Hebrews 10) continues to urge us not to neglect our meeting together, as people
do but encourage one another, especially now that the day of the Lord’s return is drawing near. You
encouraging someone to spiritual living is not only possible when we can meet at church or in a given
fellowship congregation but even without: the Apostle Paul in his epistle to the Philippians he urges us to
continue encouraging one another that each may fill the belonging to Christ’s body, comfort from His love,
and continued fellowship together in the Spirit; (this doesn’t require the presence of physical bodies but
requires of us to live together spiritually and in the same accord [unity]).
Philippians 2:1
so by whatever [appeal to you there in our mutual dwelling in Christ, by whatever] strengthening
and consoling and encouraging [our relationship] in Him [affords], by whatever percussive incentive there is
in love, by whatever participation in the (Holy) Spirit [we share], and by whatever depth of affection and
compassionate sympathy. (AMP)
(Message version) 1 If you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if His love has made any difference
in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you [care]—
2
then do me a favor: agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends.
3
don’t push your way to the front; don’t sweet talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others
get ahead.
4
don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand.
(MSG)
If you have prayed before, this is a greater opportunity for a fresh start, it’s time for you to open up your
closet, enter there in total silence and allow the Spirit of God to make the intersessions that are fit for you,
with groanings that even mere words cannot express, because He knows every one of your weaknesses.
Remember it is only in that closet where you can wait upon the Lord with patience, calmness and
levelheadedness from all your worries. By saying closet I simply mean that place where it’s only you and the
Holy Spirit of God. Mathew 6: 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to
thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. (KJV)
I love the message version here, it says; “Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you
won’t be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will
shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace
Romans 8:25. But if we hope for what is still unseen by us, we wait for it with patience and composure. 26. so
too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to
offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads
in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. (AMP)
Isaiah 40:31 but those who wait for the Lord[ who expect, look for, and hope in you] shall change and renew
their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the
sun ]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. (AMP)
Maybe in the previous years you have been publicly praying for different things and people around named
you a prayer warrior; how do u see now if you go back to your knees to fill that cup. I believe covid has given
us another great opportunity to go into the closet, so that we can discover more potential with in us by the
Holy Spirit, discover where we had lost it out: Maybe your life would have been much better than you see it
now and let’s say there are a few things you had not done to improve it; maybe you were jammed to that
pg. 13
one business or idea and yet there is much more you would have done but you instead left your business to
live in a different realm than you do. Trust me two people who have different requirement needs but highly
depend on each other cannot live in different realms, for one will pull the other to their own level or realm
of maturity; you cannot live spiritually and live your business or that something you take care of live carnally.
The Spirit realm is totally different in making to the physical, with different time cycles, and speed of
movement. You cannot just allow your spirit speed of movement to be determined by the slow things you
have to take care of; but all this is happening because we have allowed to live spiritually and yet sendoff
people around us and more to that our basic needs to live physically, simply because of the loose connection
we have with the Spirit of God. I only wish we can use this big opportunity and connect everything and
everyone around us to the Spirit through intimate prayer.
Maybe you have attended church often times but still lost your children, husband /wife, siblings or parents
far enough, then, now is the time to restore those broken relationships not only through reunions and
special care but also in our prayer closets for the intervention of the Spirit of God. We do have a saying that
says “a family that prays together stays together.” This is a hundred percent and more true but falsely
believed if we think, that a family that goes to church together will definitely stay together; maybe you have
always gone to church together but with so many differences in spirituality; brethren now is the time to go
down to our knees as families and ask the Holy Spirit to rebuild us again. Remember that everything starts
with the family: a church congregation is built by families, communities and governments come up from
families; so the many broken families in the church that is the more the church congregation is shattered,
same applies to communities and governments and this divulges the weaknesses of the governing power,
therefore unto the same the apostle Paul in his first epistle to Timothy advises those interested in leadership
to first of all know how to lead their own families.
1 Timothy 3:1-5
the saying is true and irrefutable: if any man [eagerly] seeks the office of bishop (superintendent,
overseer), he desires an excellent task (work) 2. Now a bishop (superintendent, overseer) must give no
grounds for accusation but must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, circumspect and temperate
and self-controlled; [he must be] sensible and well behaved and dignified and lead an orderly (disciplined) life;
[he must be hospitable [showing love for and being a friend to believers especially strangers or foreigners,
and be] a capable and qualified teacher, 3. Not given to wine, not combative but gentle and considerate, not
quarrelsome but forbearing and peaceable, and not a lover of money [insatiable for wealth and ready to
obtain it by questionable means]. 4. He must rule his own household well, keeping his children under control,
with true dignity, commanding their respect in every way and keeping them respectful. 5. For if a man does
not know how to rule his own household, how is he to take care of the church God? (AMP).
And the same he said to those who wanted to be servants in the church besides leaders.
1 Timothy 3:10-13. 10. And let them also be tried and investigated and proved first; then, If they turn out to
be above reproach, let them serve [as deacons].
11. [The] women likewise must be worthy of respect and serious, not gossipers, but temperate and selfcontrolled,
[thoroughly] trustworthy in all things.
12. Let deacons the husband of but one wife, and let them manage [their] children and their own households
well.
13. For those who perform well as deacons acquire a good standing for themselves and also gain much
confidence and freedom and boldness in the faith which is[founded on and centers] in Christ Jesus. (AMP).
pg. 14
So child of God, I still believe this is the time to mend those bonds that seemed broken; not only for the sake
of our families but the church and nation as well. For the more your relationships with those around you are
stronger, the more your relationship with God is much stronger and the more prepared you become for
spiritual living. For remember no man can love God and hate his own brother but only he who loves his
brother/ neighbor loves and has seen God: for love is the true expression of God living in us.
1John 4:7-8 7 dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is
a child of God and knows God. 8 but anyone who does not love does not know God for God is Love. (NLT)
1 John 4: 20 if someone says, “I love God” but hates a Christian brother or sister, that person is a liar; for if we
do not love people we can see, how can we love God Whom we cannot see? (NLT)
If we ought to leave spiritually therefore; we need to perfectly love and this way we can see God and live a
life full of God’s presence. However, this is much possible if we love the one who has seen God, that is His
Son Jesus Christ and follow after the command he left for us, of Love your neighbor as you love yourself and
in this way God Omni-present will make a dwelling in us that’s He will take permanent residence in us, if we
take up permanent residence in love.
1 John 4:12-16 12. No one has seen God, ever. But if we love one another God dwells deeply with in us, and His
love becomes complete in us – perfect love! 13. This is how we know we’re living steadily and deeply in Him,
and He in us: He’s given us life from His life from His very own Spirit. 14. Also, we’ve seen for ourselves and
continue to state openly that the Father sent His Son as savior of the world. 15. Everyone who confesses that
Jesus is God’s son participates continuously in an intimate relationship with God. 16. We know it so well, we’ve
embraced it heart and soul, this love that comes from God. God is Love. When we take up permanent
residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. (MSG)
Therefore as the Bible has well stated; when we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we then live
in God and God lives in us; and this is a true definition of spiritual living; for in this way we get Christ’s
identity while in this world and we become a perfect home for God to dwell.
1 John 4: 17. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we are free
of worry on judgment day – our standing in the world is identical to Christ’s (MSG)
For don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and He dwells in you.
1 Corinthians 3: 17. If any one does hurt to God’s temple and corrupts it [with false doctrine] or destroys it,
God will do hurt to him and bring him to the corruption of death and destroy him. For the temple of God is
holy (sacred to Him) and that [temple] you [the believing church and its individual believers] are. (AMP).
Therefore as holy temples of God let’s continue in God’s love through prayer and personal communion with
the Holy Spirit that He may help us build our relationships with the people and the things that we owe to live
with spiritually, always interceding in the Holy Spirit the greatest intercessor of our lives; for all the families
of the church and the nation at large, for a single family cannot make up a community or even a church
congregation and a single community will never make-up a nation. So through prayer build your relationship
with your family, but also your family’s relationship with the body of Christ and your nation, for without
other families your church will have no impact on you or your nation, since a single family cannot run a
nation or even church single-handedly. Therefore let’s continue in good deeds, acts of love and being
responsible for each other; first as the body of Christ, then, as a nation at large just as the author of Hebrews
pg. 15
encouraged us in Hebrews 10:24, we shall be able to build a church and a nation strongly routed on a
spiritual foundation.
Hebrews 10:24.
And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying
how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities. (AMP).
The world has a lot of techniques and put-ups for prayer. My advice about prayer is this: “speak little and allow the
Holy Spirit to say the rest. Unless you are not praying by the Holy Spirit, but if you’re doing so, you don’t need a
repetition of words as if you are speaking to a person who can hardly hear, that’s not how our God is! Never think that
God is too busy to respond to you. He is never asleep, never deep in thought that you need to shout out loud so that
you can awake Him, no, never. Do not follow the example of the world’s so called prayer worriers who are prayer
ignorant, they have very many formulas and pending techniques that they think can be used to receive from God, but
what they do is nonsense! For before we even mention a single word in prayer our God who searches the hearts of
men already knows what is best for us by Him taking what is in the Mind of the Holy Spirit. Set a private time, I mean,
that moment where it just you and God (The Holy Spirit) and just like prophet Elijah did, rebuild/repair the altar of the
Lord in your life, stay in there, make it simple, honestly wait on the Lord and as you do the focus will shift from the
control of your mind to the Holy Spirit, and trust me you will start sensing the manifestation of His Presence. Please!
Read the story in 1 Kings 18:25 – 38. Please! Read it.
Every other time you go before God, first of all forget self, forget your own will and desires and set focus on the will
and purpose of God. In this way, you will clearly connect to God because in prayer there has to be a connection
between what God does and what you do. For Prayer is communication to God. And therefore if it’s communication,
there has to be a message from both parties that’s you and then also God. Never think that every time you have to
communicate to God, it has to be you to go first, a times allow the Holy Spirit to communicate first, don’t get so
familiar with prayer, for this will sometimes act as a barrier to your communication with God. Do not force prayer, if
you fill too heavy to speak, do not speak, just allow the Holy Spirit to speak on your behalf, that’s fellowship and that’s
what true friends are for. The Holy Spirit is a Friend, a Comforter, a Counselor, a Helper, an Advocate, an Intercessor, a
Strengthener, your Standby and much more. He alone adds fervency to what we speak and He does this with
groanings and utterances that mere simple words cannot explain.
Before you speak to God, ask the Holy Spirit always, to control your mind. Your mind has a lot it desires and it is very
corrupt, I repeat; it is very corrupt! Your mind is a know-it-all. And because of this it can’t put-up with God’s presence
that’s why it always draws attention away from God and it brings into you only what it figures out as right, do not
listen to it, please always yield, surrender, submit and listen to the Holy Spirit, for He is ever speaking to you and
always responds to all your pleas and requests.
I have this prayer to make for you dear reader. The bible says that the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the
Lord is, there is liberty. I have prayed for you by the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ, that you be emancipated
from the bondages of your mind, into liberty and a peace of mind, may the Lord lend you the Mind of Christ, you will
return it back to him when you reach paradise. AMEN.
The AMAZING GRACE of the Master, Jesus Christ, the EXTRAVAGANT LOVE of God, the INTIMATE FRIENDSHIP (FELLOWSHIP) of the Holy Spirit, be with all of you.

RIGHTEOUSNESS AND
HOLY LIVING.
pg. 17
CHAPTER FOUR: RIGHTEOUSNESS.
About 5 minutes to the beginning of this year, as I was in church for the end of year celebrations, I asked
God for the word of the year to guide the Worship Room, and the Spirit of God led me to a scripture in Luke:
1:75 which says; In HOLINESS and RIGHTEOUSNESS before Him all the days of our life. My spirit and soul
were moved in awe and praise to God for this wonderful theme of the year. Sincerely speaking I have not
stopped thinking about this every other time I encounter it in my Bible. Every time I read it I realize, this is a
call for total submission and surrender (spirit, soul and body) to God’s council just as our father in faith
Abraham did and believed on God in everything and it was accredited to him for righteousness.
Romans: 4:3
For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed in (trusted in) God, and it was credited to his
account as righteousness (right living and right standing with God). (AMP).
This makes me realize that God has not called us this year and the years to come for work(s) but believe
(having faith) in God who makes the unrighteous righteous before Him without the help of their good works
before God and before men.
The Apostle Paul alerts us and shows concern to this in almost all his epistle to the different churches and
fellowships; and told us not to establish our own righteousness by works as the Israelites did when they
thought that by following after the law they can establish their own righteousness and can be in right
standing with God not realizing that the more they did this the more it pushed them not to arrive to the law
of righteousness.
Romans 9:31. Whereas Israel, though ever in pursuit of the law [for the securing] of righteousness (right
standing with God), actually did not succeed in fulfilling the law.
Romans 10:5. For Moses writes that the man who [can] practice the righteousness (perfect conformity to
God’s will) which is based on the law [with all its intricate demands] shall live by it. (AMP)
This is the law of righteousness: the Righteous shall live by faith.
Romans 1:17. For in the gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and
leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, the man who
through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith. (AMP)
For even in the Law of Moses and the prophets this has been commended: for both the law and the
prophets bear this testimony that now apart from the Law a righteousness of God has been revealed; which
righteousness is off the works of the law but one accredited to everyone without distinction through faith in
Jesus Christ to all men who believe, for Jesus carried every man’s unrighteousness when He became the sin
and carried every man’s sin on the cross, that He may become the sin offering, one different from the sin
offering of a goat that was offered every time man felt sinful before God and every year by the high Priest
before going into the Holy of holies for both himself and the Israelites: Christ was sacrificed once and for all
to be the fulfilment of the law and the forgiveness of every sin.
Romans 10:4. For Christ is the end of the law [the limit at which it ceases to be, for the law leads up to Him
who is the fulfilment of its types, and in Him the purpose which it was designed to accomplish is fulfilled that’s
the purpose of the law is fulfilled in Him] as the means of righteousness (right relationship to God) for
everyone who trusts in and adheres to and relays on Him. (AMP)
pg. 18
Therefore He commends everyone to become the righteousness of God. 1Corithians 1:30. But of Him, you
are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and
redemption.
2 Corinthians 5:21. For Him who knew no sin He made to be sin on our behalf so that in Him we might
become the righteousness of God. (WEB)
And therefore the righteousness He has given to us remains forever and it is for everyone who believes with
his heart unto righteousness.
2Corithians 9:9. As it is written, “He has scattered abroad, He has given to the poor. His righteousness
remains forever”. (WEB)
Romans 10:10. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made
unto salvation. (WEB)
Philippians 3:9. And that I may [actually] be found and known as in Him, not having any [self-achieved]
righteousness that can be called my own, based on my obedience to the Law’s demands (ritualistic
uprightness and supposed right standing with God thus acquired), but possessing that [genuine
righteousness] which comes through faith in Christ (the Anointed One), the [truly] right standing with God
which comes from God by [saving] faith. (AMP)
I earlier mentioned that we ought not to work for righteousness but we are supposed through all things to
move in the acts of righteousness led by the Holy Spirit. For remember the Master Jesus Christ in His
promise of the Spirit, He said. John 16:8 &10.
8.
And when he comes, He will convict and convince the world and bring demonstration to it about sin and
about RIGHTEOUSSNESS (uprightness of heart and right standing with God) and about judgment:
10 . About RIGHTEOUSNESS (uprightness of heart and right standing with God), because I go to my Father, and
you will see me no longer: (AMP)
Verses 10 makes me understand that, the righteousness granted to us by the Holy Spirit is the only way to
live in Christ now that he is with the father, in that when we present before the Throne of Grace, instead of
God seeing as He will actually see His righteousness (the Master Jesus Christ). Meaning that, now that the
Lord is not with us, and we are seeing Him no longer, He has gifted us with another perfect Personality Who
can now direct us in every act of righteous living.
And the Apostle Paul in his epistle to the Galatians said: Galatians 5:5. For we, [not relying on the Law but]
through the [Holy] Spirit’s [help], by faith anticipate and wait for the blessing and good for which our
righteousness and right standing with God [our conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action, causes
us] to hope. (AMP)
For through this we bear every fruit of good works which we failed to bear by the works of the law and now
made potentially able by the Spirit of Grace.
Ephesians 5:9-10. 9. For the fruit (the effect, the product) of the Light or the Spirit is in all goodness and
righteousness and truth, 10. Proving what is well pleasing to the Lord. (WEB)
Philippians 1:11. Being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and
praise of God. (WEB)
James 3:18. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. (WEB)
pg. 19
How can this be possible? As I have said, it’s not working for righteousness but practicing all righteousness
as the Apostle John said in his first epistle.
1 John 2: 29. If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of
Him. (WEB)
1 John 3:7. Little children, let no one lead you astray. He who does righteousness is righteous, even as He is
righteous. (WEB)
Therefore through the practices of righteousness by the Holy Spirit we bear every good fruit; but working for
righteousness pushes us into practices of unrighteousness since through these works we have a reason to
boast and be self-seeking and content with its fake fruits as though it was by the flesh that we received
credit from God; remember even the Bible says that everyone who works the reward is not counted as grace
but as something owed, for such kind of a person is obligated to this; and he or she is paid in accordance to
the work he/she has done; but the fruit of righteousness is earned by grace to those who are not working by
the law but trusts and fully believes in Him who justifies the ungodly.
Romans 4:4-5. 4. Now to him who works, the reward is no counted as grace, but as something owed. 5. But to
him who doesn’t work but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.
(WEB)
And even the man of God king David congratulates such kind of a man and pronounces a blessing on
him/her.
Romans 4:6. Even as David also pronounces blessing to a man to whom God counts righteousness apart from
works. (WEB)
The Israelites thought Abraham was accredited for righteousness by the works of circumcision, yet he
became righteous and a friend of God before he was circumcised so the works of circumcision were not at
work but only came in as a seal to confirm God’s covenant He had made with Abraham through the shading
of blood, because in the process of cutting the foreskin blood is shade; but now we stand in a circumcision
not of the flesh, but one of the heart; since we have already been sealed by the seal of the Spirit and the
covenant of blood and this is the blood of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Titus 3:5. Not by works of righteousness, which we did our selves, but according to His mercy, He saved us,
through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit. (WEB)
Therefore we ought to only set our hearts to believing as earlier mentioned in Romans 10:10.
Now I pause this question to you, what are those things which have hindered your total belief? What is that
circumcision of the flesh that has veiled you that you even work without believing/ work without thinking.
Take a minute and examine yourself, for you do understand your weaknesses more than any person and it is
good for you to understand your weaknesses so that you faithfully live to boast in them so that the Lord’s
power maybe perfected in you. This worked for Apostle Paul when he learnt to live on with his weakness
and as well use it to glorify God. And Moses too, acknowledges his weakness when he mentioned to God
that “how will I speak to your people yet I stammer” which gave God authority to overpower his weakness.
The Apostle Paul recommends the same to his first epistle to the Corinthians.
pg. 20
1 Corinthians 11:28. Let a man [thoroughly] examine himself, and [only when he has done] so should he eat of the break and drink
of the cup. (AMP)
Once you overpower this by the Holy Spirit, then this prepares you for spiritual living and right standing with
God. Remember Jesus says, “of righteousness because I am going to My Father and you will see me no
more” so let’s not forget that the gift that was given to us, that’s the gift of the Holy Spirit is contrary to the
desires of the flesh just as there is no fellowship between righteousness and iniquity or fellowship between
light and darkness.
2 Corinthians 6:7. By [speaking] the word of truth, in the power of God, with the weapons of righteousness for
the right hand [to attack] and for the left [to defend] (AMP)
Even so the Spirit of Truth cannot put up with unrighteousness since the Bible says that: all unrighteousness
is sin (1John 5:17) therefore not even one fruit of the Spirit can put up with a small act of the flesh. If you
ever have a question like: What can I use to guard my heart from all unrighteousness? The answer is simple:
RIGHTEOUSNESS.
The Apostle Paul states in his epistle to the Ephesians; he outlines righteousness as a breastplate: to those
who have watched movies for war, warriors put on armors and every armor even though incomplete must
have a breast plate, or take the example of the bullet proof jacket; it is made in such a way that it guards/
protects the heart from every harm. Therefore since we do not wrestle with flesh and blood, but against evil
rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world and against evil spirits
in the heavenly places. God so it fit to give us his armor so that we can be able to resist the enemy in the
times of evil not to fight the enemy quote me right; it’s to resist the enemy so that after the battle we will
still be standing firm. Therefore this breast plate protects our hearts to resist temptation, for the evil one
does not wrestle with us using guns, spears or bows and arrows (physical weapons) but his weapons are the
temptations and lustful desires of the flesh; and before these temptations cause death, it is preceded by sin
and when sin is allowed to grow death follows.
A friend of mine (Lydia) once made a statement that I have seen to be true: she said, “The devil has no
control over our minds, but we ourselves give it chance when we feed our own minds with lustful desires of
the flesh which later it uses as a weapon of temptation to fight back on us.” For example when the Master
desired a meal after a long time of 40 days and 40 nights of hunger, the devil used His own desire of a meal
to tempt Him with a stone and when He overcame all its temptations, the Bible says the devil left until
another opportunity comes; that simply means without any opportunity of our own desires it has no way it
can tempt us, and you will realize in the Bible that when another opportunity of Gethsemane came Jesus
had a will of not drinking the cup, but again He desired to do the will of God. He very well knew that on
every occasion that involves God’s will, our spirit wills but the flesh is always weak and He gave both His
disciples and us who believe what to use and fight this temptation when He said that “All of you must keep
awake (give strict attention, be cautious and active) and watch and pray, that you may not come into
temptation.” (Mathew 26:36). It’s that simple but very challenging because though the spirit is willing, the
flesh is always indeed weak, therefore what you give mastery will win, it’s a one on one battle win in you.
Apostle Paul also gives us this advice which I really want you to always put at heart. Ephesians 6:16-18. Even
our Lord Jesus Christ used these same weapons to first the devil on every occasion when he was tempted.
1. The shield of saving faith, which quenches every flaming missiles of the wicked one.
2. The Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and this is what He used while in the wilderness.
pg. 21
3. Watch and Pray. Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all manner of
prayer. I have highlighted the word Spirit because I want you to know in Whom you are supposed to
pray. Most especially in times of trial don’t allow your flesh to take control in prayer, for the flesh is very
weak and too corrupt.
“All unrighteousness is sin”
James 1: 13-15. Let no one say when he is tempted, I am tempted from God; for God is incapable of being
tempted by [what is] evil and He Himself tempts no one.
14. But every person is tempted when he is drawn away, enticed and baited by his own evil desires (lust,
passions).
15. Then the evil desire when it has conceived, gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully matured, brings forth
death. (AMP)
Therefore when you expose your heart to the temptations then; Paul says the outcomes are very clear.
Galatians 5:19-21.
But when you guard your heart with the shield of faith and the breast plate of righteousness by the guidance
of the Holy Spirit, then, you cannot do what your sinful nature demands instead you follow after the desires
of the Holy Spirit thereby receiving the ability to bear every fruit of the Spirit which are also the fruit of
righteousness.
Galatians 5:22-23. 22. But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His Presence within accomplishes] is love, joy
(gladness), peace, patience (an even temper forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, 23.
Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law
[that can bring a charge]. (AMP)
Ephesians 5:9-10. 9.
For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth. 10. Proving what is well
pleasing to the Lord. (WEB)
Philippians 1:11.
May you abound in and be filled with the fruit of righteousness (of right standing with God and
right doing) which come through Jesus Christ ( the Anointed One), to honor and praise of God [that His glory
may be both manifested and recognized]. (AMP)
1 Timothy 6:11.
But as for you, O man of God, flee from all these things; aim at and pursue righteousness (right
standing with God and true goodness), godliness (which is the loving fear of God and being Christlike), faith,
love, steadfastness (patience), and gentleness of heart. (AMP)
2 Timothy 2:22.
Shun youthful lusts and flee from them, and aim at and pursue righteousness (all that is virtuous
and good, right living, conformity to the will of God in thought, word and deed); [and aim at and pursue]
faith, love, [and] peace (harmony and concord with others) in fellowship with all [Christians], who call upon
the Lord out of a pure heart. (AMP)
James 3:18.
And the harvest of righteousness (of conformity to God’s will in thought and deed) is the [the fruit of
the seed] sown in peace by those who work for and make peace [in themselves and in others, that peace
which means concord, agreement, and harmony between individuals, with undisturbed-ness, in a peaceful
mind free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts] (AMP)
pg. 22
Therefore through your faith and total surrendering to God which is the foundation of righteousness, you
are given the strength to nail the passions and desires of the sinful nature to the cross of Jesus Christ
through whom we are made the righteousness of God. I think it’s high time we grow to maturity and stop
being babies but engage our hearts in the acts of righteousness experiencing the Agape and truth of the
Holy Spirit, for it’s in Christ that we live move and have our well-being.
Acts 17:28. For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your [own] poets have said, for
we are also His offspring. (AMP)
The question is, why should we continue to live as babies on milk not advancing to solid food? I believe no
matter the consequences its worth living the experience in the acts of righteousness. Is it not worth it
suffering for righteousness’ sake? For there is no gift or prize which will be given to them that follow after
unrighteousness, for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God given to those who live by right standing
before Him is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Hebrews 5:13. For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously in experienced and unskilled in the
doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere
infant [not able to talk yet] (AMP)
Our Master Jesus Christ says in Mathew 5:6. Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in
that state in which the born again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and
thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) for they shall be completely satisfied. And
in Mathew 5:10. Blessed and happy and enviably fortunate and spiritually prosperous (in the state in which
the born again child of God enjoys and finds satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation (regardless of his out
ward condition) are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake (for being and doing right), for theirs is
the kingdom of heaven! (AMP)
Brethren, the reward given to those who guard their hearts in these hard time is worth the struggle; because
if you endure all this, a crown of ETERNAL LIFE is ready for you.
James 1:12. Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under
temptation, for when he has stood the test and be approved, he will receive [the victor’s] crown of life which
God has promised to those who love Him. (AMP)
The crown of life, I also mean ETERNAL LIFE. The Master defines eternal life in John 17:3 as;
“And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and
understand) You the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] the Christ (the
Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom you have sent.” (AMP)
Therefore every man who comes to the Lord Jesus Christ by believing in Him with all his heart unto
righteousness receives his crown; it is there mandate; because they have received the One who makes every
man righteous by being merciful to every man’s unrighteousness.
Hebrews 8:12. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness. I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no
more. (WEB)
Romans 6:18. Being made free from sin, you became bond servants of righteousness. (WEB)
This reveals the mercy He showed to us by giving us what we didn’t deserve, but freely gave it by His own
grace, fulfilling His statement of “I will be merciful to their unrighteousness.” So it is worth being a bond
pg. 23
servant of righteousness; that’s following after righteousness. We without restrictions gave in into
uncleanness and to wickedness because we were still controlled by the flesh as the Apostle Paul told us in
Romans 6:18 that “Being made free from sin, you become bondservants of righteousness.” And besides that
even now we easily give in to lies and canning words of those who masquerade as servants of righteousness
as Paul told the church of Corinth.
2Corithians 11:3-4. But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just
as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent. 4. You happily put up with whatever anyone tells
you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of spirit than the one you
received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed. (NLT)
2 Corinthians 11:13-15. These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves
as apostles of Christ. 14. But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15. So it is
no wonder that his servants all disguises themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the
punishment their wicked deeds deserve. (NLT)
2 Corinthians 11:18-20. 18. And since other boast about their human achievement, I will, too. 19. After all,
you think you are so wise but you enjoy putting up with fools! 20. You put up with it when someone enslaves
you, takes everything you have, takes advantage of you, takes control of you and slaps you in the face. (NLT)
It seems easy for many to be told that they need to give a plenty of sacrifices, manipulating their psychology
than to give to the poor; which of the two is an act of righteousness? We do not buy healing from Christ for
we were bought by a price, our healing was freely given for by His stripes we were healed.
1 peter 2:24. He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for
what is right. By His wounds you are healed.
In this our service has been manipulated leaving many as bond servants of men and not of the One who paid
the ransom. Even Apostle Paul told us in scripture.
1 Corinthians 6:20. For Gods bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. (NLT)
1 Corinthians 7:23. God paid a high price for you, so don’t be enslaved by the world. (NLT)
And Apostle Peter also saw this tragedy and says. 2 Peter 2:1 but there were also false prophets in Israel, just
as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the
Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves. (NLT)
But even with all these alarming scriptures, many have continued to reflect their righteousness before men
and not the Master who bought and makes every man righteous. The Pharisees and scribes of Jesus’ time
lived in this way when they sought men’s approval more than God’s; they worked hard to be righteous
before men and not God who works out our righteousness. And the Lord told the church (His disciples).
Mathew 5:20. “But I warn you – unless your righteousness is better than the righteousness
of the teachers of religious law and Pharisees, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven!
(NLT)
In line with the lord’s caution in Mathew 5:22 I have this to say: Anger has no place in God’s righteousness
Mathew 5:22 but I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If
you call someone an idiot you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you
curse someone (if you say, you fool) you are in danger of the fires of hell. NLT)
pg. 24
James 1:19-20. 19. Understand [this], my beloved brethren. Let everyman be quick to hear [a ready
listener], slow to speak, slow to take offence and to get angry. 20. For man’s anger doesn’t promote
the righteousness God [wishes and requires]. (AMP)
But we are often angered by those around us! Don’t I have the right to be angry? Hmm! Maybe you’re: but
for how long because remember this a seed of temptation that can easily grow in you and once matured can
easily produce sin, and that is why we have the Holy Spirit who helps us bear the fruit of self-control. When
you get angry with something however humble you are, if you keep it for long, trust me you will lose it out; I
once got very angry in 2019 and because of the rage that was poured in my heart I failed to guard it and
almost fell from righteousness. I had gone too far in the Spirit but this was a great setback which I don’t wish
for any believer to go through. The Lord was faithful and merciful to me that when I tightly clung to Him he
restored me, but I almost lost it out.
David and Solomon give us the best way to manage anger, I used their advice and I was victorious. You do
not need to go for a course in Anger management, you just need the Spirit of God to guide you in the
following.
1. Stand in awe. This can also imply being still/silent and sin not. Then while laying on your own bed;
commune with the Holy Spirit in your own heart and be sorry for the things you say in your mind.
2. Remember who you are; I mean your personality. You are a king and kings are not over taken by
anger for their anger is a messenger of death, therefore remember that any word you utter with
your tongue creates.
3. Be wise and do not act like fools do; for it is for fools to get high and be vexed with anger. The faster
you control your anger the more knowledgeable you become.
4. Be slow to answer in wrath; always gently give response and only where response is due.
5. Be longsuffering (patient) in spirit and not proud in spirit.
6. Learn to control your tongue, for a sharp tongue sparks a temper-fire. Be smart and know how to
hold your tongue.
7. Always forgive and forget; this will make you seem a loser before people, but before God you will be
a victor forever.
Psalm 4:4 Angry? [Stand in awe] and sin not; commune with your own hearts upon your beds and
be silent (sorry for the things you say in your heart). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! (AMP)
Proverbs 16:14-15. 14. The anger of a king is a deadly threat; the wise will try to appease it. 15. When
the king smiles, there is life; his favor refreshes like a spring rain. (AMP)
Proverbs 19:12. The king’s anger is like a lion’s roar, but his favor is like dew on the grass. (NLT)
Proverbs 14:29. People with understanding control their anger; a hot temper shows great
foolishness. (AMP).
Proverbs 15:1. A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare. (AMP)
Ecclesiastes 7:8. Better is the end of a thing than the beginning of it, and the patient in spirit is
better than the proud in spirit. (AMP)
Ecclesiastes 7:9. Do not be quick in spirit to be angry or vexed, for anger and vexation lodge in the
bosom of fools. (AMP)
pg. 25
Proverbs 29:11. A self-confident fool utters all his anger, but a wise man holds it back and stills it.
(AMP)
Proverbs 27:4. Wrath is cruel and anger is an overwhelming flood, but who is able to stand before
jealousy?
Proverbs 19:11. Good sense makes a man restrain his anger, and it is his glory to overlook a
transgression or an offence. (AMP)
So dear reader, don’t allow anything however small it is as long as it is not an act of righteousness, don’t fall
for it. Be holy as the one who called you is Holy. That phrase is a scripture but allow me put it this way:
suffer – long (slow to anger) as the one who called you is long-suffering.
Even when you are right and do not deserve the persecution from the wrong being inflicted; for
righteousness’ sake and Christ’s sake, accept and move on. Do not argue your way out of wrong but allow
the rightful Judge to judge every matter of your life: you never know this could be just a wilderness where
the Lord is taking you to remove the world out of you the same way He took Moses in the wilderness to
remove Egypt out of him. And also still in that wilderness equip yourself with the Word of God for it is God
breathed/ inspired by the Holy Spirit and profitable for instruction; maybe you couldn’t listen any more: for
reproof and conviction of sin: never think you not at fault before the Lord, you are just human: “for
correction of error and discipline in obedience” for maybe in that error you think you are not at fault with;
it’s because you have not reasoned it enough; and could be just need a little discipline and obedience then
you will be back on line; trust me it worked for me; and finally “for training in righteousness”, since by the
time you will leave this wilderness, your heart will have believed and totally trusted in God for holy living, in
conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose and action. For as well when I moved out “oh my God” I believe
I was ready to get back to the journey. You will be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly
equipped for every good work (acts of righteousness).
2 Timothy 3:16-17. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another –
showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. 17.
Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us. (MSG)
But once you refuse this but accept the consequential temptation that comes along with your anger, you will
lose out.
Take the example of our Master Jesus Christ while led by the Holy Spirit went into the wilderness 40 days
and 40 nights; yet still even therein the devil tried Him with temptations after 40 days and 40 nights; but
with His knowledge of the Scriptures He endured all temptation.
Luke 4:1-13: 1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the
wilderness, 2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they
were ended, he afterward hungered. 3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this
stone that it be made bread. 4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread
alone, but by every word of God. 5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, showed unto him all
the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6
And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee,
and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
7
If thou therefore
wilt worship me, all shall be thine. 8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for
it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
9
And he brought him to
Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself
down from hence: 10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: 11 And in their
pg. 26
hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 12 And Jesus answering
said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 13 And when the devil had ended all the
temptation, he departed from him for a season. (KJV)
The reason as to why for us, even in the wilderness we still fail, it’s because we are not led there by the Holy
Spirit, and also while there we are not well equipped with the Word of God (Scriptures) and also when we
move out we continue in our old life which exposes our broken hearts to more destruction. As for our
master Jesus Christ, once out of the wilderness, He was ready for all good works. For immediately He was
out, He went to the synagogues.
Luke 4:114-15. 14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a
fame of him through all the region round about. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being
glorified of all. (KJV)
And there the Master continued his ministry inspired by the Holy Spirit, performing in all good acts of
righteousness, so even when He stood just to read a scripture in the synagogues, every one of His word was
a reality because he was Spirit led, that even demons knew His authority.
Luke 4:18-20. 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the
gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the
captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach
the acceptable year of the Lord. 20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister,
and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. (KJV)
Luke 4:31-41. 31 And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the Sabbath
days. 32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power. 33 And in the
synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,
34
Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? Art thou come to
destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. 35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold
thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of
him, and hurt him not. 36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a
word is this! For with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come
out. 37 And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about. 38 And he arose
out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with
a great fever; and they besought him for her. 39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and
it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them. 40 Now when the sun was
setting, all they that had any sick with divers’ diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his
hands on every one of them, and healed them. 41 And devils also came out of many, crying out,
and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for
they knew that he was Christ. (KJV)
“In HOLINESS and RIGHTEOUSNESS before Him all the days of our life”
This is the law of righteousness: the Righteous shall live by faith
pg. 27
CHAPTER FIVE: THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS’ SAY ABOUT
RIGHTROUSNESS.
The men of old also had this principle to follow: HAVE FAITH (BELIEVE) TO ATTAIN RIGHTEOUSNESS.
These men believed God and moved in action by the fruits of righteousness; they never reached unto
righteousness by the law but followed every step God directed them to take. Examples:
Enoch: he lived in right standing with God and God took him from this world, for he was seen no more; he
went to live eternally; for the reward of God is Eternal life.
Noah: he trusted God; lived by God’s will in a time when men sinned with the sons of God, but as for him he
had his faith in the Lord, and God told Him.
Genesis 7:1. AND THE Lord said to Noah, come with all your household into the ark, for I have seen you to be
righteous (upright and in right standing) before me in this generation. (AMP)
Among others, we have already seen Abraham; and many others as you will see them in the book of
Hebrews chapter 11 please read the whole of it and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the mystery behind
there believing.
Now let’s look at exactly what the prophets had to say about righteousness.
1. MOSES: He recognized and told the children of Israel that “you‘re not entering the promised land for
your righteousness or your hearts are upright but because of the wickedness of its inhabitants, the
Lord is giving you their land and driving them out that He might establish the word He swore to your
ancestors Abraham, Isaac and Israel who believed unto righteousness. Therefore learn from this that
God does not work on account of someone’s own lawless deeds of righteousness but by His mercy.
Deuteronomy 9:5-6: 5 Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess
their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee,
and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and
Jacob. 6 Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy
righteousness; for thou art a stiff-necked people. (KJV)
2. Elihu: saw it that righteousness is not by works and for him in Job 36:3, he ascribed righteousness to
his Maker; for he realized that his Maker God gives righteousness freely and willingly. Job 36:3. I will
bring my knowledge from afar and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker. (WEB)
3. David: he makes me happy when he says; offer the sacrifices of righteousness: put your trust in God.
(Psalm 4:5.Offer the sacrifices of righteousness. Put your trust in Yahweh. ) (WEB). He very well knew that the
righteousness of God doesn’t come by the many sacrifices we give to God for he himself said
sacrifices and offerings you don’t desire or else I would give them, you have no pleasure in burnt
offerings; but the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit and a contrite heart.
Psalm 51:16-17. 16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not
in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite
heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. (KJV)
pg. 28
The Message version says: 16. Going through the motions does not please You, a flawless performance is
nothing to You. 17. I learned God-worship when my pride was shattered. Heart – shattered lives ready for
love do not for a moment escape from God’s notice.
So David gives this conclusion; that righteousness comes not by sacrifices but by total relying on God for
those who trust and fear Him make righteousness which goes before him (psalm 85:13) to meet them in
peace.
Psalm 85:9-13. 9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10
Mercy
and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11
Truth shall spring out of the
earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12
Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and
our land shall yield her increase. 13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his
steps. (KJV)
David also says that Yahweh gives righteousness as a reward to them with clean hands and a pure heart,
who don’t give in to unrighteousness.
Psalm 24:4-5. 4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor
sworn deceitfully.
5
He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his
salvation. (KJV)
Psalm 36:10. O continue thy loving kindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright
in heart. (KJV)
4. Phinehas stood and trusted God and gave a right judgment when there was a plague in the people of
Israel and the Bible says it was credited to him for righteousness for all generations to come. (Psalm
106:30-31. 30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed. 31 And that
was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore. (WEB) Read story in Numbers 25.
5. Isaiah’s first address on righteousness was: Zion will be restored by justice; those who repent will be
revived by righteousness (Isaiah 1:27 NLT). Other versions emphasize her convents shall be
redeemed with righteousness. Convents are those who repent with their hearts and their
restoration/ revival is righteousness.
Briefly, let me show you how these two words are connected (that’s: Repentance and Revival). The Hebrew
has different words to represent Repentance: 1 Metanoea: which literally means; to change one’s mind or
purpose. 2. Metamelomai: where Meta = “change” and melo = “to care for” signifying to regret, to
repent oneself.
But I will pay a lot of attention to Metanoeo (Change of mind) which was the word used often by the
prophet who prepared way for righteousness: Mathew 3:8. So following what the prophet Isaiah said in
Isaiah 1:27, the convert had to totally believe with his heart and the One who rewards with righteousness to
those who believe with all their hearts; so after this the convert had to bring forth fruit that are consistent
with repentance which I love calling the fruit of righteousness and this finally leads to Revival which is the
“restoration of someone to his true nature and purpose.
Mathew 3:8-12. 8. Bring forth fruit that is consistent with repentance [let your lives prove your
change of heart]; 9. And do not presume to say to yourselves, we have Abraham for our forefather;
pg. 29
for I tell you, God is able to raise up descendants for Abraham from those stones! 10. And already
the axe is laying at the root of the trees; every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut
down and thrown into the fire. 11. I indeed baptize you in (with) water because of repentance
[that’s, because of your changing your minds for the better heartily amending your ways, with
abhorrence of your past sins]. But He Who is coming after me is mightier than I, Whose sandals I
am not worthy or fit to take off or carry; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. 12. His
winnowing fan (shovel, fork) is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear out and clean His threshing
floor and gather and store His wheat in His barn, but the chaff He will burn with fire that cannot be
put out. (AMP)
You realize that still even in this generation, there is a number of people (believers) who want to wash on
the outside and not the inside just like the Pharisees were when they presented before John the Baptist and
their intentions of going to church look alike, but he (John the Baptist) addressed them by calling them
Hippocrates.
Mathew 3:7. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said
to them, you brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee and escape from the wrath and indignation
[of God against disobedience] that is coming? (AMP)
But if you agree to change right from the mind, the giver of righteousness comes and cleans thoroughly
every chamber of your heart so that you are able to bear the fruit of righteousness, hence here I go back to
the conclusion that “we do not work for righteousness but by grace it is granted to us by the Master so as to
guard our hearts and keep us on this journey of salvation.”
Titus 2:11-14. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching
us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this
present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and
our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and
purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. (KJV)
In addition, Isaiah also while addressing the armor wore in battle, gives righteousness as a belt of truth like
an undergarment or a breastplate. So to him righteousness guards the heart and upholds truth.
Isaiah 11:5. He will wear righteousness like a belt and truth like an undergarment. (NLT)
Isaiah 59:17. 17 For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his
head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.
(KJV)
He also gives prophecy that people will declare the source of their righteousness as God and not their own
works. Therefore I believe this is the time that we declare this great source as our testimony daily in the
whole world
Isaiah 45:24. Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall
men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. 25 In the LORD shall all the
seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory. (KJV)
pg. 30
6. Prophet Ezekiel: the Lord swore through Ezekiel that, “even if Noah, Daniel and Job were there their
righteousness would save no one but themselves; their righteousness would not even save their own
sons and daughters.” (Ezekiel 14:14 – 20). Why? It’s them who believed not their sons. Take this live
example, King David faithfully believed and was in right standing with God, but when Solomon sinned
though he was the choice of God, also when his son Rehoboam sinned it never stopped God from
dividing Israel because of David’s righteousness, however He was merciful to David’s dynasty for
David’s sake. And also when King Asa came and never followed the example of his ancestors who
never followed God, but he believed God, he was accredited with righteousness. However, when he
sinned still his earlier righteousness never saved him.
Ezekiel: 33:13. 13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own
righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousness shall not be remembered; but for his
iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. (KJV)
Also King Jehoshaphat was faithful to follow God, but his son Jehoram didn’t and therefore his father’s
righteousness never saved him but his unrighteous acts like, killing his own brothers destroyed him and he
lost the right to be mourned for even by his own people because of his sin.
2 Chronicles 21:18-20. 18 And after all this the LORD smote him in his bowels with an incurable
disease. 19 And it came to pass, that in process of time, after the end of two years, his bowels fell out
by reason of his sickness: so he died of sore diseases. And his people made no burning for him, like
the burning of his fathers. 20 Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign, and he
reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being desired. Howbeit they buried him in
the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings. (KJV)
Therefore the Prophets have this conclusion about righteousness in common, they say that: “righteousness
is God’s gift of love to them that believe on Him.” Ref. scriptures.
Psalm 71:19. Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O
God, who is like unto thee! (KJV)
Psalm 103:6. The LORD executes righteousness and justice [not for me only, but] for all who
are oppressed. (AMP)
Proverbs 21:21. He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life,
righteousness, and honour. (KJV)
Isaiah 1:27. Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.
(KJV)
Isaiah 32:16-17. 16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain
in the fruitful field. 17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of
righteousness quietness and assurance forever. (KJV)
Isaiah 45:8. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down
righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness
spring up together; I the LORD have created it. (KJV)
pg. 31
Jeremiah 23:6. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his
name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. (KJV)
Malachi 4:2. 2 But unto you who revere and worshipfully fear My name shall the Sun of
righteousness arise with healing in His wings and His beams, and you shall go forth and
gambol like calves [released] from the stall and leap for joy. (AMP)
There are many more scriptures which point to righteousness and I still have a lot to share about it, for the
Holy Spirit has revealed much but much more is in His Word and He is ready to reveal even more to a
everyman ready to partake of all the Truth and Knowledge in Him.
Deuteronomy 29:29. The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things
which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the
words of this law. (KJV)
Repentance (metanoeo): to change one’s mind or purpose.
Revival: (Revive ;Latin roots re = again, vive = to live) restoration of
something/someone to its/his true nature and purpose.
What is your true nature and purpose? Please change from your own and live by the true
nature and purpose of God.
Holy Spirit unveil Your acts of righteousness to us that we may live for perfection unto
salvation and that we may be presented before the Father by Christ Jesus as a bride
without spot or wrinkle. AMEN.
pg. 32
CHAPTER SIX: HOLINESS
In HOLINESS and RIGHTEOUSNESS before Him all the days of our life.
This year and years to come God called us for only two things that’s “Holiness and Righteousness”, one thing
proceeds the other, although however, the two sum up to one, and that is a Spirit led life in both living and
walking. From the very beginning God inspired man’s life by His own Spirit and the Spirit of God is the
manifestation of the finished work from the very beginning. Even in this dispensation He is and will always
be.
The Apostle Paul says in Romans 6 22b that: “now do those things that lead to holiness and result in Eternal
life. The things that lead to holiness are the very fruit (acts) of righteousness, and every fruit we have seen
earlier is perfected by the Holy Spirit: He is most important in bearing every fruit or act of righteousness that
we do. Take the example of Love; the Apostle Paul says that even if you can speak in tongues of men and
even of angels but have not love, you are just a noisy gong or clanging cymbal: therefore the best of the gifts
of the Holy Spirit like Prophecy, teaching, performance in miracles among others without the fruit of the
Spirit, there is no perfection into Holiness and yet all these gifts and callings were given for edification of the
church, but why isn’t there perfection still? The apostle Paul continues to tell us that our knowledge is
incomplete, our prophecy is imperfect; but when the complete and perfect comes the incomplete and
imperfect will vanish; that’s if you and I totally yield to the One Who is perfect (the Holy Spirit) and help us
bear every fruit of righteousness and in that there is no way the Lord will disown us; but remember that any
branch which doesn’t bear fruit according to the will of God shall be pruned; and though we use our gifts of
prophecy and also cast out demons in Jesus’ name without perfection, we shall still reach His presence and
our own works shall judge us before Him. Why? Because we effort to work for righteousness by human
ability and not working in righteousness unto perfection by the power of the Holy Spirit. We do all our best
to hide that which is imperfect from men; in that, even when we go before the Lord who searches out every
heart we still hide them from Him; yet He has a full knowledge about us, there is nothing we can hide from
Him.
1 Thessalonians 3:10. Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that
which is lacking in your faith? (KJV)
Moses, was called by Yahweh will he was tending the flock of his father-in-law and with all the excuses he
gave, he never forgot to mention his weakness (imperfect and incomplete speech) before God and because
he opened up, the Lord strengthened him even the more to bring out the imperfect unto perfection.
Exodus 4:10-12. 10. But Moses pleaded with the Lord, “Oh Lord, I am not very good with word. I never have
been, and am not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied and my words get tangled.” 11.
Then the Lord asked Moses, “Who makes a person’s mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not
speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is it not I the Lord? 12. Now go! I will be with you as you speak,
and I will instruct you in what to say.” (NLT)
The Apostle Paul says in Hebrews 12:23b that “and to God Who is Judge of all, and to the spirits of righteous
(the redeemed in heaven) who have been made perfect. (AMP). You have come to God Himself, so if to God
Himself, why hide anything that may hinder the perfect will of God. Those who obtained righteousness
where not made holy (perfected) immediately for Christ had not publicly shade His blood on Calvary that our
pg. 33
sins may be cleansed and that we may be found without any guilt; but immediately this was done, even
those righteous men in heaven where perfected and made holy; how much more to us.
Hebrews 12:23-29. 23. To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in
heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24. And to Jesus the
mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that
of Abel. 25. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that
spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from
heaven: 26. Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I
shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the
removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which
cannot be shaken may remain. 28. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let
us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29. For our
God is a consuming fire. (KJV)
Just imagine, if the blood of Jesus was also crying for vengeance just like the blood of Abel; if the hope of our
salvation was seconding our destruction, where would we be: But glory to God that that blood of Christ
speaks forgiveness before God and those who believe in Him with their hearts and change their minds
(repent), they receive the gift of righteousness to direct their feet to holiness by the guidance of the Holy
One who speaks ( the Holy Spirit) for He is the One who tells us what the Master is also speaking before the
Father. Therefore if we listen and do not be like the children of Israel at the time when they left Egypt, we
shall certainly escape the tragedy to come with judgment. For if the Lord God shakes again both heaven and
earth as He swore, only those who are in holy living will be unshakable and will remain, but even though you
believed on the Lord but do not lead this life of righteousness unto holiness you will be shaken and will not
remain. The conclusion of the scripture is very simple, it’s that, “Let us be thankful and please God by
worshiping Him with holy and awe for He is not an indifferent by-stander. Therefore, my simple conclusion is
this: Live the simplicity in Christ and not the complexity of your flesh. You may ask yourself how? It’s simple.
1 Peter 1:13-23. 13. Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that
is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14. As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves
according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15. But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all
manner of conversation; 16. Because it is written, be ye holy; for I am holy.
17.
And if ye call on the Father,
who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here
in fear: 18. Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from
your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19. But with the precious blood of Christ, as of
a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20. Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the
world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21. Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from
the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
22.
Seeing ye have purified your
souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another
with a pure heart fervently: 23. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of
God, which liveth and abideth forever. (KJV)
The question is, how is this possible? How can you live a spiritual life? It is this simple again. Galatians 5:25. If
we live by the [Holy] Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. [If by the Holy Spirit we have our life in God, let us go forward walking in
line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit.] For if we both live and walk by the Holy Spirit that’s if you are guided (led
by the Holy Spirit), you are not subject to the law. Remember the law never made anyone holy or even
righteous before God, but Yahweh’s gift did. For God so loved the world, that he gave; and the gift He gave
to us also gave us the privilege of becoming sons of God.
pg. 34
Luke 20:35-38. 35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from
the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal
unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. 37 Now that the dead
are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of
Isaac, and the God of Jacob. 38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him. (KJV)
Romans 8:14-23. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not
received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry,
Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if
children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be
also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be
compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature
waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not
willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall
be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know
that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but
ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for
the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. (KJV)
Romans 9:26. And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my
people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. (KJV)
Galatians 3:26. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 4:5-6. 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of
sons. 6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba,
Father. (KJV)
Hebrews 2:10. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons
unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. (KJV)
Therefore let us live worth to be addressed as sons, but not illegitimate offspring/ not true sons. As I
mentioned earlier, “it’s worth suffering for righteousness’ sake.” Let us therefore live by leading many to
righteousness for in turn we shall shine like stars forever. Daniel 12:3. And the teachers and those who are
wise shall shine like brightness of firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness (to uprightness and
right standing with God) [shall give forth light] like the stars for ever and ever. (AMP)
Spiritual living requires a price to pay, and my price may not be the same as your price but every price is
worth the results.
Mathew 16:24-27. 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself,
and take up his cross, and follow me.
25
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose
his life for my sake shall find it.
26
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his
own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of
his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. (KJV)
In exchange for his soul simply signifies that every man has his own price to give in for the trade, although
the biggest price that was paid by the Lord still stands.
Resist the devil and all his snares; for it is on a wait on the things we live on and daily waiting there to devour
you, for it knows that it has just a limited time; that’s why he has placed snares on everything you enjoy
living with in your day to day life.
pg. 35
Youth and young people, I am not trying to hinder you from living your life; because many have always told
me that the Master promised a hundred on earth and a hundred in heaven. But this is not in the things we
live by daily, the devil has laid snares on social media, your phone, media platforms, in the print media: trust
me those many fancy games on your phone are not taking you anywhere but to destruction because they
are addictive. Every movie nowadays has a scene of sexual immorality, and trust me this will arouse your
sexual lusts and you will end-up falling into sin because once temptation is sown in you it will sprout into sin.
I am writing this with a lot of tears in my heart, for my heart is troubled within me for the sake of my
generation. When that temptation comes your way, remember that greater is He in you, than he that is in
the world. 1 John 4:4. Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and
overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (Mightier) than he who
is in the world. (AMP) therefore run! Don’t walk but run from sexual sin! For no other sin so dearly affects
the body as this one does.
1 Corinthians 6:18. Shun immorality and all sexual looseness [flee from impurity in thought, word, or deed].
Any other sin which a man commits is one outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins
against his own body. God’s will is for you to be holy and to live a Spirit guided life, therefore stay away from
all sexual sin and separate yourself from anything that may arouse your lustful desires. (AMP)
1 Thessalonians 4:3. 3. For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from
fornication: 4. That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and
honour; 5. Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: (KJV)
2 Timothy 2:22. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on
the Lord out of a pure heart.
You do not need to work your body out for material gain, for this will tempt you into sin and will drug your
body into all unrighteousness. [All unrighteousness is sin]. Therefore take the advice of the
Apostle Paul in 1 Timothy 6:6-11.
6 [And it is, indeed, a source of immense profit, for] godliness accompanied with contentment (that
contentment which is a sense of inward sufficiency) is great and abundant gain. 7. For we brought nothing
into the world, and obviously we cannot take anything out of the world. 8. But if we have food and clothing,
with these we shall be content (satisfied). 9 But those who crave to be rich fall into temptation and a snare
and into many foolish (useless, godless) and hurtful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction and
miserable perishing. 10 For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have
been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental]
pangs. 11 But as for you, O man of God, flee from all these things; aim and pursue righteousness (right
standing with God and true goodness), godliness (which is the loving fear of God and being Christlike), faith,
love, steadfastness (patience), and gentleness of heart. 12. Fight the good fight of faith; lay hold of the
eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before
many witnesses. (AMP)
Finally, just like my best Apostle, I urge you to fight the good fight of faith; for it yields holiness and
righteousness. Give time to the Holy Spirit, allow Him to lead you, and don’t command/lead Him because
there you will end up grieving Him. I do repeat this, do not work your way out of the many troubles of life,
these troubles are undergone by every righteous man and He is only the Lord who delivers you and I in all
these, but if you try to pave your own way, you will end up familiarizing with the Almighty God (Father, Son
pg. 36
and the Holy Spirit) just like the three friends of Job thinking that we know all the ways of God and in the
end with nothing to say if the Lord asked us to explain any of His works. Let us therefore follow the example
and the process our Master Jesus Christ followed; let us obey the perfect will of God: Jesus said “not as I will
but Your will be done.” And therefore without controversy, He received the perfect prize He deserved.
1 Timothy 3:16. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh,
justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into
glory. (KJV)
2 Thessalonians 1:5. Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God that ye may be counted
worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: (KJV)
Ephesians 4:12-13. 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the
body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a
perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: (KJV)
Before you think about the best house, the best car, the best of clothes, or even eating well in a luxurious
way, think about this first.
Mathew 6:33-34. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take
therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for
the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (KJV)
Do you want the best wife/husband, a faithful one? Lead a righteous life first. What best thing do you desire
to have? Seek first the kingdom of God and all its righteousness.
By all the Power in the Holy Spirit, stand firm for the hour has come and He who comes will not delay.
May the love of God continue to flourish within you in the Holy Spirit and in all perseverance. I love you.
pg. 37
If you’re craving to believe on the Lord and confess unto righteousness, if you would love to affirm your
faith/renew your relationship with the Lord. Read these words aloud and after submissively welcome the
Holy Spirit in your life: trust me you won’t remain the same. Jesus loves you.
REPEAT THESE WORDS.
Father, I believe with my heart that you sent your Son Jesus Christ to die for my sin, and
before Him I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe with my whole heart that Jesus is
a Son of God and that He died to carry away my sins and rose again from the dead. I now
denounce the devil and declare Jesus’ Lordship over my life as my personal Lord and
Savior. I am born again. Give me Your Holy Spirit to lead and direct me as long as I live in
this new spiritual life. AMEN.
PLEASE! If you have just confessed these words with faith, now you are the righteousness of God in Christ
Jesus. Every sin and guilt’s conscience have been carried away. You are now God’s beloved child. John 1:12-
13. 12. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that
believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but
of God.
