Welcome

WELCOME

Welcome to our fantastic

Summer in the City 2022 programme

Hammersmith & Fulham Council

are again working with local youth

activity provider LMP Action and

the Holiday Activity and Food

Programme to offer a summer of

food and fun activities and events for

children and young people.

Summer in the City has always been

a special FREE summer programme

for children and young people in H&F.

Now, we’re even more determined

to help families through the Cost-of-

Living Crisis as part of our wider efforts

to be a truly compassionate council.

We have over 22 different providers

delivering across H&F and we’ve got

something for everyone!! Sport, music,

arts and crafts, drama, dance and

family fun for 4 -18-year-olds – or up

to 25 for those with additional needs.

Please also look out for our one-off

events happening across the summer!

We have puppetry workshops,

bike maintenance, music, cookery

competitions and lots more.

The most important thing, this

summer, is that every event is FREE!!

We are again ensuring that families

can have access to a regular source

of free nutritious meals over the

summer holidays, whether at a local

club or at one of our events.

The concepts of the Summer in the

City programme is about enrichment,

learning and wellbeing. Wherever

you go will be warm, welcoming

and offering a range of unique and

exciting opportunities for children

and young people.

We hope our digital guide will help

families and young people to access

exciting new opportunities, get

involved, be part of their community

and have a safe and enjoyable summer!

Hope to see you there.

Cllr Alex Sanderson

Cabinet Member for

Children & Education
