Chronology of Events - France

I moved to Saumur, France. I flew Continental Airlines from Newark Airport to Paris
Charles de Gaulle Airport. Then I took the TGV from Paris Airport to Angers, France, and
went straight to the Lucent Technologies manufacturing facility at Z.I de St. Lambert
49412 Saumur.
Anita lived in our apartment at 100 Hiram Square, New Brunswick, New Jersey, and
attended Rutgers University College. I visited Anita in New Brunswick about every
month.
My boss was Serena Ellison, and she, her husband, and their adopted daughter moved
from Texas to Saumur, France, before me. As a result of the job posting, Serena's
husband retired from his job in Texas so they could move to Saumur, France. He was a
stay-at-home dad in France with their five-year-old adopted Mexican daughter.
After living in a hotel for a month, I moved into a three-bedroom apartment at 3 Rue de
Rouen, apartment 2, 48400 Saumur, France. I met Severine Burton, a local French girl
with an office beside mine. She later introduced me to Laurent, her boyfriend. Severine
assisted me with purchasing furniture and appliances for my apartment.

During her two-week Christmas break from Rutgers, Anita came from New Brunswick to
visit France. I picked her up at Charles de Gaulle Airport and spent the night in Paris.
Then, on Sunday, December 20, we went on a road trip to England. We drove from Paris
to Calais, France, and put my blue BMW 320 on the ferry to Dover, England. From
Dover, we headed to Manchester to visit my Adewale Somala for Christmas. We bought
two bottles of red wine as a present for him. He drank them with a girl he picked up
from the bar one night.
While Anita and I were in Manchester, England, I contacted Lateef Ajenifuja. I told him
about my plans to buy a 50-unit apartment complex off Livingston Avenue in New
Brunswick, New Jersey. I offered to give him 10% of my yearly profits as a finder's fee if
he could convince Kola Abiola to invest in the $2 million building with me. He asked me
to send him my financial projections. So, Anita and I went to the Royal Mail Post Office
in downtown Manchester to overnight the financial estimates to Lagos, Nigeria. 1 I also
emailed the estimates to Lateef. Unfortunately, he never contacted me or provided any
1 One of my younger siblings told me Lateef didn’t know how to check his
email.

assistance with this project. The apartment complex more than doubled in price in less
than ten years.
After Christmas, we drove to Nottingham, England, to visit Astrid Lend-Drayson. Astrid
attended the University of Nottingham at the time.
Analysis
o I believe this was when my three oldest siblings back home in Nigeria got the
government involved.

On December 29, Anita and I drove from Manchester to Nottingham, England. We
stayed with Astrid Lenz-Drayson in her shared townhouse.
Anita and Astrid decided to bar hooping for New Year's Eve, but I disagreed with that
plan and decided to stay home. Around 10:00pm, Astrid's two British Indian roommates
came home from their Christmas break. They didn't like that I was home alone on a New
Year's Eve. So, they convinced me to go with them to a dance club. They were very
persuasive with their British accent. So, I decided to go with them.
When Astrid and Anita returned home, they did have a key to get in and stayed outside
until we returned at around 1:00am. Astrid physically assaulted me when we returned
home.
Our beloved chocolate Labrador, Danny Boy, was born near Paris, France.
I bought him three months later at a pet store in Paris, France.
April 0, 1999

Around April 1999, Pamela, Serena Ellison's executive assistant, informed us that
Serena's husband had a stroke. Soon after the stroke announcement, Serena resigned
from her V.P. of Product Development position, moved out of their newly renovated
French countryside home in La Menitre, France, and back to Texas. Everything
happened so fast that I didn't even get to say goodbye to her. After that, Aviv Ron, our
Israeli Division Manager, took over and became my immediate boss in France.

Was Serena a perfect human being? Unfortunately, no. We all have our faults, but she
was good to me as a boss.
Analysis

o I had reason to believe someone got to Serena Ellison in an attempt to reach me. So,
she left her position because she wanted nothing to do with it.
o On May 13, 2022, As I walked past the WDCW office building on Wisconsin Avenue
NW, a tall slim white lady and her young daughter (~8 years old) walked past me in
the opposite direction. The lady wore a black T-shirt with the French phrase "C'est . .
." written on the front – a coded reference to Severine Burton (now Severine
Munday). As I walked past the CVS store across the street, I saw two Arab-looking
ladies standing in front of the CVS entrance. They wore white hijabs. I made a U-turn
at Calvert Street and headed back home. I ran into a white lady walking with a sixyear-old
Mexican-looking girl near 2320 Wisconsin Avenue. The little girl had an
American flag scarf around her neck – a reference that Serena Ellison's adopted
daughter is a Mexican American. When I reached the CVS store, the hijab-wearing
ladies were still in front, referencing Ganiat Adebola Afun and Jemila Somala.
While walking past Holy Rood Cemetery on Wisconsin Avenue N.W. toward 35 th
Street, a young light-skinned black guy and his three young white guy friends walked
past me in the opposite direction. The black guy wore a yellow sweatshirt with
Suffolk University written on the front – a coded reference to Lateef Ajenifuja as a
student at Adelphi University. Upon reaching the freight entrance to my apartment
building, I saw a white Honda Civic SUV with a Connecticut tag parked next to the
ramp – a reference to Adeniyi O. Adebayo. 2
Someone informed me that Ganiat Adebola Afun, Jemila Somala, Lateef Ajenifuja,
Kola Abiola, Adeniyi Adebayo, and Abiodun Akinkunmi were responsible for Serena
Ellison's husband's stroke in Saumur, France, and the attempt to kill me in
Barcelona, Spain.

I flew from Paris to Newark Airport three days earlier with Danny Boy. Anita was
surprised to see me with a dog when she picked me up at the airport.
Anita graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Arts History.
I attended Anita's graduation ceremony with her German girlfriend. She lived with a
psychologist couple in Highland Park, New Jersey.

Anita got a Paralegal job with a big law firm in Midtown Manhattan. She started
commuting from New Brunswick by N.J. Transit to the Union Station in NYC.
After about three months, Anita's boss fired her for being too outspoken.
Around September, Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, LLP (1 Chase Plaza, NYC) hired
Anita as a Paralegal. She met Jim Clyber and Jennifer Anglim Kreder at the firm. Jennifer
graduated from Georgetown Law School. She and her husband, Alex Kreder, later
2 Adeniyi Adebayo graduated from William Paterson University.

ought a condominium at 738 Washington Street, Apt. 1, Hoboken, two blocks away
from our home.

In preparation for my exit from Lucent Technologies, we started looking for a place to
buy in Hoboken, New Jersey. I made an offer on the house at 911 Castle Point Terrace,
Hoboken. After a few weeks of negotiation, the seller gave me a verbal acceptance of
my $800,000 offer. Then Anita had the house inspected for us while I was in France.
However, about a week after accepting our offer price, the seller's agent asked for
$6,000 more. Unfortunately, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me, and I
declined to increase my purchase price to $806,000. However, I should have swallowed
my pride and increased my offer because the house doubled within a few years.
I called Abiodun (Abbey) Akinkunmi, Lateef's friend that lived at 626 Hudson Street in
Hoboken. I asked for his advice on the house and neighborhood. Surprisingly, the realtor
price increase came a few days after my conversation with Abiodun. Then I wanted to
buy an abandoned townhouse at 630 Hudson Street, next to Abiodun's house. He told
me not to make an offer because one of his friends was interested in buying it, but that
never materialized.
I later found a condominium apartment one block away from Castle Point Terrace.
Analysis
o Surprisingly, the seller's agent returned with a $6,000 price increase a few days after
I called Abiodun (Abbey) Akinkunmi and asked him what he thought of the house
and neighbors.

Anita, our dog, and I went on a two-week holiday road trip across France and Spain. We
drove from Saumur to Bordeaux – Bayonne, France – Pamplona – Madrid – Valencia –
Barcelona, Spain – Nice, France.
On our first day, we had lunch in Bordeaux, dinner in Bayonne, France, and spent the
night in Pamplona, Spain. After that, we visited Beatriz Rodriguez in Madrid for a few
days before heading to the beach in Alicante. Then we drove around the coastal
highways through Barcelona to Nice, France. We stayed at the Westminster Hotel Nice
for a week and visited Monaco on a day trip. We wanted to attend a Lionel Richie
concert in Monaco, but the venue refused to admit us because I wasn't wearing a jacket.
Similarly, Monte Carlos Casino denied us access to the Poker section of the casino
because we didn't have our passports with us. We settled for dinner at the Café de Paris
Monte-Carlos, across from the casino.
While in Nice, Anita and I went on a parasailing boat ride at the beach across from our
hotel.

On our way back to Saumur, the French National police pulled us over on highway A7
before a tollbooth for speeding. The police gave me a warning and let us go without a
fine.
Friday, September 17, 1999

I resigned from Lucent Technologies effective September 30 and moved back to the U.S.
The movers came and moved my belongings out of my apartment. Then Anita and I
stayed near Logis Cristal Hotel for a few days (the same hotel I stayed at when I arrived
in Saumur back in September 1998). Finally, one evening, we had dinner with Aviv Ron
at a fancy restaurant on route D947. Anita was in heaven when our waiter brought the
cheese cart to our table after the main course.
We flew back to Newark, New Jersey, with our dog.
Thursday, September 30, 1999

Anita and I bought a condominium at 1028 Hudson Street, Apt 8, Hoboken, New Jersey.
We paid $275,000 for the unit. In addition, I sold about $80,000 of my Lucent
Technologies stock options and used the money as a down payment on our
condominium.
