Italy and Fiji are the sides who will duke it<br />

out at the home of <strong>Newcastle</strong> <strong>Thunder</strong>.<br />

After the big kick off the day prior,<br />

Scotland v Italy gets things underway on<br />

October 16 ahead of the Fiji v Italy clash on<br />

Saturday October 22nd.<br />

Fiji and Scotland meet on the evening of<br />

Saturday October 29th in the final match<br />

in NE13.<br />

Tonga v Cook Islands<br />

Riverside Stadium, October 30th.<br />

While Tyneside kicks off Rugby League<br />

World Cup in the north east, Middlesbrough<br />

draws it to a close with the all-Pacific<br />

Island clash taking place at the Riverside<br />

Stadium.<br />

Tonga are expected to be one of the form<br />

teams in the competition after making it<br />

through to the semi-finals in 2017, pushing<br />

England all the way as Wayne Bennett’s side<br />

advanced to the final by just two points.<br />

Having shocked the international Rugby<br />

League world by beating number one ranked<br />

side Australia in 2019, they will arrive on<br />

Teesside having faced Papua New Guinea<br />

and Wales in their other group fixtures.
