We have been asked by Mrs. Phyllis Vesey to sell her collection by live and
unreserved auction. Phyllis’ collection re 昀 ects 50+ years of collecting rare,
beautiful and unique pieces. She describes herself as a “self taught eclectic
collector of everything rare and special”.
Featuring an Early Flat to the Wall Open Dish Cupboard in original paint (Kingston), early 2
pce. Corner Cupboard (Ontario), 4 Poster Canopy Bed c1800, Linen Press c1890, Canadian
Grandfather Clock in working condition with a wonderful moon face (Josh Gordon, B.Money),
an outstanding Set of 6 of Heavy Tiger Maple Dining Chairs, Several Single Drawer Lamp
Tables, Unique Quebec Child’s Chair c1800 original paint with carved side panels, Several
Early Clock Shelves, Early Cast Iron Counter Top Coffee Mill, Collection of Child’s Doll or
Salesman Sample Furniture and many more pieces.
Early and Rare Collection of Pottery (Rare Yellow ware, Gaudy Welsh, Gaudy Dutch, Pea
Fowl, New Hall, Sponge Ware, Splatter Ware, Port Neuf, Flow Blue) to include a collection
of Sugar Bowls, Plates, Tea Pots (sliding lid) of all types. Complete New Hall Tea Service in
impeccable condition c1800 possibly earlier. Early Ironstone Covered Dish with Beaver Handle
and Matching Platter (with Beaver detail), Mercury Glass, Jasperware, Pink Lustre, Collection
of Early C1800 Cups/Saucers unmarked with deep saucers, Pair of Early Chalkware Dogs,
Double Bird Crock (S. Hart, Fulton).
Doll and Child’s Toys – Early Quebec Rocking Horse (in original paint), Early and Rare Doll
Tea Set, Large French Jumeau Doll (with paperweight eyes c1800), Bye-Lo Baby Doll, Shirley
Temple Doll in original box, 2 Early Large English Steiff Teddy Bears.
