Finesse - the Fine Arts Club of IIT Guwahati is
a special interest group that aims to promote
various forms of art on campus. It is an attempt
to provide a platform for IITG community to
unleash their creative selves and hone their
skills in the field of art & craft.
​The fine arts club organizes art events in the
campus like workshops to learn sketching ,
illustrator, events during Manthan and
Alcheringa. At the end of the year, an
exhibition of the works done by the members is
organized, along with an open art contest for
everyone. Club members get to volunteer in
these events, organize, meet artists, scrutinize
and suggest on participants’ art work and even
contribute with their creativity.

Lit-Soc- The Literary Society, IIT Guwahati is a
space for all the readers, writers and anyone
who is passionate enough to learn the art. Lit-
Soc regularly organises Literary events
including Workshops, Competitions, Open
Mics, etc. which give a platform to the campus
students to both learn and showcase their
talents. The club also has its own blog where it
regularly featuring great works by the campus
writers. Lit-Soc has creatively used social
media to organise regular quizzes, word games,
posting audio-visual content on Instagram and
Facebook pages. The club members are always
keen to learn and are passionate about the art.
The club strives to reach each and every
individual with the power of the words, beauty
of the language and the art of expression.
