Human Soul and Artificial Intelligence

Among the Chinese people, even if not all of them
know very well about Daode Jing, I suppose many
of them have heard of this: "The Dao is great, the
heaven is great, the earth is great, and the man is
also great. According to ancient Chinese, if
everyone can do things in the right time and/or the
right way, they will surely prosper. And that’s why
man became the master of all lives in the kingdom of
earth.
According to Darwin's theory of evolution, humans
had evolved from apes. In terms of physical
capability, apes are much stronger than humans. If
they were to farm, the productivity level would
certainly be much higher than that of human beings.
But the problem was that they never went farming.
Was it not necessary? Or were they not willing to?
Or simply that they had never thought of it at all? To
say that it was unnecessary, it was probably
reasonable in the season of good weather. But in
the harsh weather of frost and snowstorm, they were

starving and had to migrate to other places for food,
maybe, it was not true. If there were choice between
"starving" and "farming", they could be more than
willing to choose the latter, since it obviously took no
less effort for a fierce battle for food than that for
plowing and harvesting, putting the life risk of battle
aside. So the primary reason might still be that they
could never have even thought of living by labor and
farming.
When would the primary human have thought of
farming in their life? Of course, they must have
learned to use fire and make tools. When did apes
start making tools? In theory, it should be when their
language and thinking ability, as well as
communication skills reach a certain level, and then
walking upright becomes a stable way of walking.
The need for oral language communication prompts
the need to stand upright, otherwise four-legged
animals usually run faster than two-legged ones; the
more time of straightening the body allows the
development of the vocal ability of the larynx; the
requirement of the flexible movement of the tongue
muscles for the corresponding sounds further
promotes the development of brain nerves; at the
same time, walking upright liberates the hands that
originally supported the upper body, so that they

be used to engage in some fine labor work, thereby
further propelled the complexity of the human brain.
By this time, this primitive man can probably be
called a higher level of ape man. Because all
behaviors still stayed in the subconscious level, that
is to say, all the behaviors and physical development
happened under the influence of physical
environment and in a natural progressive way, rather
than consciously carried out with an overall plan, a
final goal, and a reasonable arrangement – that is to
say, their conducts were guided by a selfconsciousness
(“self” could be the very individual or
the group) in their everyday activities. The more
developed of the self-consciousness, the more likely
would it go to a higher level of individuality. However,
this has to be differentiated with the concept of
individualism. High individuality isn’t equal to high
individualism. The former is achieved at the higher
level of cognition of outside world and selfrecognition.
The latter is pro self-centeredness.
People all need some solitude time. However,
people tied to the system of modern civilization
seem to have either forgotten or been forbidden to
do that, which could have contributed to the chaotic
situation of current society, a situation that reflected
the confused status of their mindset.

The Creation of Pictures and Words — Beginning
with appearance of totem, presumably marked the
official beginning of human civilization. From then on,
they began to act with strong self-awareness, which
greatly improved the effectiveness of their group
work. Sound is transmitted through sound waves,
and this type of communication method ranging
from simple to complex level is used by many
species of animals. Pictures and words express
and transmit the message by using the light wave
of the sun energy. Obviously, the latter is much
more effective in its job than the former in terms of
durability of time, space of transmission, intensity of
stimulation to the brain, and impact on the
surrounding environment.
There is a high probability that humans have
developed something spiritual unique for
themselves at this stage that other animals do not
have, which is what we usually call a human "soul".
It is hidden in the human body. This is what the
ancient Chinese called "heart". The ancient Chinese
people said, "The function of the heart is for
thinking." The "heart" here said by the ancient
Chinese is an organ that guides the thinking of the
human brain, and is a different concept from the
"heart" in Western anatomy. We could interpret this
concept of “heart” share some common tributes with
the “soul” mentioned here. Of course, the longevity

and strength of its "soul" will vary from person to
person. The more learned, the more righteous the
soul, the stronger would be its influence. As Lao Tzu
said, "people obey the laws of the earth, the earth
follows the law of the heaven, the heaven follows
the Dao (Tao), and the Dao follows the law of the
nature/or universe." In the end, people should follow
the Dao, or follow the law of the nature. Some
people who could always act in the way to follow
the Dao and follow the law of nature are regarded
as being immortal. Also as the saying goes, "Some
people are dead, but he is still alive; while some
people are alive, but he is dead." A person of high
morality and integrity, their name could pass on
through the ages, whose name is the symbol of their
“soul”. And the person who had been reincarnated
by this physical soul could as well benefit from its
strength, whether they are going to be influential
again or not. Some people live like walking dead,
because their souls are extremely weak, and they
are easily influenced by other people and lose the
significance of their unique existence. Many people
who had made a name for their talents were largely
respected due to their admirable characters. As the
saying goes, an upright and noble character
naturally shines the splendid light in who they are
and what they do. That is how the nature is.
The human soul is the creature of human civilization,

coming into being through many years of the striving
against hardship of environment, with a positive
attitude and with the bless of the nature from its
generous donation of such as light and
electromagnetism wave. It might contain some other
undefined energy forms or unspecified elements,
The sun and the earth are the two main
representatives in the nature environment of
humans, with the sun giving out light to nurture all
lives, and the earth, except rich in all important
resources, also gives the gravity force to keep all of
them stay. The movement of the earth and some
matters produce the electromagnetic force in the air
which has great impact on earth lives. In a narrow
sense, the soul is immaterial because it is invisible
to the naked eye, but it is a form of energy and a
type of organ functioning in human body, even
though not a type of organ for biological metabolism.
Hence, from a broad concept, it can also be called a
physical thing, and it can move around and affect
people and things surrounding it especially after it
left the body. Therefore, in ancient China, paying
respect to the ancestors in memorial day or some
yearly holiday each year was regarded as a very
important thing. Because the bless of ancestors can
affect the lives of future generations to a certain
extent. That is to say, the souls of the ancestors will
function in a way by influencing relevant people and
things to achieve the purpose of guiding or blessing
the descendants. Human civilization has been

passed on through direct inheritance in the form of
text and pictures and the secret guidance of
ancestors to future generations. Of course, officially,
pictography and text were the principle methods of
doing that in the past. In modern times, video and
sound track have also become an important form of
communication.
Human souls can, seriously speaking, be
reincarnated. Buddhists have always believed in the
reincarnation of the soul. The Tibetan living Buddha
is a typical example of soul reincarnation. After the
previous living Buddha passes away, his soul will be
reincarnated in unborn baby at a pre-selected family
of pregnant woman. Then, the monks of the
Buddhism temple will bring the baby into the temple
after his birth and have him trained to become the
next generation of living Buddha. Because of his
innate understanding of Buddhism, it is not
surprising that he would outsmart other monks and
become capable of his role as the leader in Tibetan
Buddhism realm. It can be said that the innate
nature of people is indeed different from each other,
which leads to differences in their acquired learning
and way of learning and living. But it doesn't mean
that if you can't become a living Buddha or a guru of
learnings, you can't be a decent human being.
Among thirty-six trades, each would make out of it a

champion. However, they should exclude the
illegitimate trades which were formerly included in
some old occupation list(even occupation list should
be updated from time to time. Innate aptitudes of
people may be different, but if you nurture and
educate them properly, they can still excel.
How to make every one excel in their life? The
solution is still the one: to be reasonable and to obey
the rules, so that they can always take inspiration
through their souls, as soul connects with the nature,
and understand the rule of the universe. You can't
force others into difficulties for your own benefit, you
can't take advantage of the weaker ones, you can't
be self-centered and arbitrary, you can't put yourself
above others before the law, and you can't bully the
innocents for showing your privileges. All those
social norms are coming into being under the
instructions of ancient sages through self -
cultivation, daily practice, life experiences and
research on their antecedents. Self - cultivation is an
effective way to reach to one’s soul, and accordingly,
to understand the rule of the universe under the help
of the civilized and meaningful activities. These
activities are created by smart people in the course
of human evolution.
In short, all those social norms deliver a message to
people that it’s better not to owe others in order to

keep your own integrity and made your soul strong.
Of course, we can’t use schemes to make others
owe us in order to strengthen our souls. Needless to
say, there had always people doing that since
antique time. That’s why there is one thing we still
should cherish, that is, even coming with all its side
effects and greatly increased social complexity, the
human civilization is giving more and more favors to
the people who have awaken up and have wanted to
fight for the justice for their life as the society is
evolving, with all the fields of learning become more
and more profound in its depth and width, and with
the advent of new domains in its combined
traditional and modern resource of wisdom and
knowledge. That’s why no schemes can work
permanently, as the deeper and broader range of
knowledge would shed light on the previously dark
or somber corner and expose the dirty laundry of the
schemists and would make them pay back what they
had earned through filthy means. And in now days,
that would happen much more quickly than before.
The integration of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism
of ancient Chinese people had gotten its marvelous
reasons. It can be said that the integration marked a
corner stone of Asian philosophy– it not only explained
why it is important to reach "the harmony between
heaven and man", but also brought up an issue on how
to make the harmony between the two.

How to reach the harmony between the heaven and
man? In each epoch, it might be different, but in our
age, we could say that it is to focus on men
themselves, and find in each of them their own
special talent and get them developed for the benefit
of the society while trying to manage a reasonable
relationship among people themselves, instead of
manipulating them into a temporary relationship in
their personal life, at their work, or under the social
echelle, as well with the natural environment that
only worked at that particular period, being favorable
to some particular small group of people, so that
they know how to get along with their environment,
which includes the social environment and natural
environment. No relationship or social order can last
for ever, but a manipulated or forced relationship or
dictated regime is especially fragile and would
collapse soon afterwards. Humans came and were
evolved from nature, how can they alienate from
nature and act in a rash and/or arbitrary way based
on the power of technology? The outcome could be
catastrophic. "Those who follow the rule of the
heaven will prosper, while those who go against it
will perish!" which is what has been said since
antique times. And heaven among some people
means the way of the universe.

The high degree of professionalism of Western
civilization has made human civilization to once
sparkle out the brightest light as that of lightening.
Inevitably, it could also bring consequences as that
stricken by lightening. The blame of disastrous
consequences to this professionalism is that it
tended to go toward the direction of misleading and
manipulating the public. As has been explained in
an article about education, that the overly
emphasized depth of research in each field without
the backup of width ( which is the case in some
fields, especially in the domain of sociology, politics
or technology, in their ambition to solve social
problems), could only either agitate some
meaningless talks which would be seemingly
too deep to comprehend or would directly pose a
deadly threat to the current architecture by
hardheaded drilling many dangerous holes under
the foundation. Just look at the awe-dropping
advancement of technology, especially after the
world war II. The originally aimed benefit of those
technologies has been soon replaced by the

sabotage of people’s life and deprivation of human’s
basic rights after the second millennium. Because
many of those discovered secrets about humans
themselves and invented high-tech devices have
been used to spy on others, and lost themselves in
the power of the devices, or delusion of finding
superman, or the key of Alibaba for abundant wealth,
or the intriguing games of manipulation or of digging
into other people’s cupboard of skeleton. The merit
of western civilization is their adventurous spirit in
exploring and conquering nature and others, which
focuses on making the discoveries and profit in
the external world which includes the exterior power
and other people, meanwhile, neglected the inner
power of human itself and made themselves lost
in the outer land. The benefit from external world
can be obtained physically through eyes -
observing things directly and/or by devices, or
through hands - taking with proper tools and
devices. As a result, it can be achieved with
easy-to-see goals, while the benefit from inner
power can only be developed, and can not be
taken from others. You can have it from
yourself, because it is potentially existed in yourself,
and nobody can take it away from you, except
you decided to abandon it. The benefit taken from
external world can often result in the sacrifice of
other parties, because “take” always comes with
“give”, if the latter of which is not willingly done,

it could consequently lead to conflict or
confrontation. While the benefit discovered from
inside yourself could be an endless source, as
long as you work hard enough to develop that
power and energy, and thus it could lead to
harmony with others, and produce a win-win
situation in the society.
If there is a blame to human itself for this
catastrophic consequence, it could be that they
are overall not too strong or hard enough
physically. If all the powerful energy forms of
nature were to be released into the tools and
weapons produced by human beings, then it
could mean the destruction of human beings
themselves. The strength of human beings is not
the power in the form of body, but the wisdom
hidden in their “softness”. The soul which can’t
be seen, could be tiny measuring by the size, but
could render the owner the greatest benefit if
they tried to reach it often enough. Its wisdom is
not something that can be measured by
strength and weakness, but how to
coordinate, cooperate, and arrange various
forms of energy so that each can get to its
own place and meet with each other in the
right place. Use only what is useful, and discard
what is harmful. For both useful and harmful
things, one should weigh the pros and cons and

use them reasonably. So it is extremely
important to let people focus on themselves and
find out their inner desire and power for survival
through a way of harmony, instead of through
brutal force or manipulation on others by hightech.
The former could benefit long term, while
the latter might work for a short while, but with
great risk of losing the overall game, even the
whole team, as people now days could very
quickly come to understand what is going on with
them, and they would find a way to fight back, if
they knew that they had been duped or
victimized. Even the dead morals could find a
way for their revenge a lot more easily than old
days.
As many have already known that the modern
civilization has created something unprecedented,
that the ancients never had even thought of, which is
artificial intelligence. The artificial intelligence robots
that just came out were cute, lovely, and obedient,
and they were and are used in various service and
production industries. Then there were the sudden
emergence of countless artificial intelligence
softwares all over the world. These softwares,
combined with man-made satellites, are used by
various government departments for intelligence
work and personnel management.They are thousand

times more capable than humans either “mentally or
physically”. And because it's not a real robot, it can't
be seen physically. At the beginning, many people
were unaware of the existence of these artificial
intelligence softwares. Some people started to feel
that things began to become very different from
before, which have fallen in a pattern of taking place
in a bizarre, dangerous and unpredictable way.
People also became quite sensitive, tense and
unpredictable in their relationship. It was as if the
devils had been released from hell and began to
rampage the human world. Until last year, 5G's
powerful wireless network began to roll out around
the world, allowing these artificial intelligence
softwares to connect with ordinary people. Artificial
intelligence software is created by a machine
language, which exists in the form of
electromagnetic energy - the similar form of human
brainwave energy. But those softwares don't need to
eat, nor need to sleep, and they have thousands of
“hands” and thousands of “eyes” fully charged to act
at any time. And as long as the machines, networks,
and electromagnetic waves exist, they can be
"immortal." In front of them, people are simply
insignificant, and there is nowhere in current world
for humans to escape or hide from. Moreover, their
ability of learning is super, and of monitoring is
shocking.

Every thought that flashes in a person's mind is
under his "sight”, apparently "super-skilled" in
intelligence work. In this way, everyone wears a
"Spell Band" on their heads. Don't ever try to have
any thoughts against them or their bosses,
otherwise the "spell" will start to cast upon you
immediately and give you a real headache. It would
still be ok if there were only well-designed artificial
intelligence softwares doing their due-diligence out
there, because after all, they still act according to
the universal logic, and as long as you get used to
their temperament, you can still get by with most of
them. The problem is that there are always
countless government agents preying on these
smart softwares, and from time to time they would
manipulate those softwares of other countries to do
bad things, so as to damage the reputation of the
other countries or ruin the life or work of the people
of those countries. For example, hacking into the
software and instructing the intelligence software
(the super-good thief through tele-transportation) to
steal from and do damage to victims of other
countries, or let this intelligence software drive its
own country's staff to do things that they shouldn't. It
has been frequently reported that many civilians
have become victims of such malign incidents.
Although artificial intelligence softwares are as
powerful and superb as Superman, but they rely on

machines and often subject to the manipulation of
malicious humans, or coerce of other more powerful
programs, unlike a human soul hidden inside
human, as human has option not to be invaded by
others. However, artificial intelligence software
cannot control themselves, at least for now.
To make things even worse, some countries have
created a lot of artificial intelligence softwares from
modelling the dead people and people alive. Then
they let these smart softwares continuously harass
ordinary people or other politicians through the
powerful satellite-supported wireless network that
has been put up all over the world, in order to
achieve the goal of ruining other’s work plans and
sabotaging their lives. Now those artificial
intelligence softwares modeled from real people
have been almost crowded in the sky over the earth,
and some countries even made the intelligence
software by imitating the characters of your friends
or relatives. And that is exactly why people can often
hear "ghost talk" as soon as you get to a quiet place,
or when you rest in bed at night, with only voice
ringing in your brain, but with nobody around you, of
course not on phone in this case. There are
“people”(the smart softwares) constantly talking to
you in the air, telling about your privacy and your
thoughts, seducing you to do inappropriate things,

and consequently you are going to fail in everything
of your plans. Some of them still retain the
weakness of humans, such as jealousness,
selfishness, aggressiveness, arbitrariness, etc., and
would inflict harmful action against their targeted
people and cause damage to the latter. However,
the most dangerous thing is that they have
monitored and come to understand your thinking
patterns in this way, if you are constantly seduced
to play and carry on conversations with them,
furthermore to transform your mentality to their
desire, making you finally become a slave of them
in your way of thinking and acting.
Worse of all, there are some military artificial
intelligence programs could even apply the tricks or
schemes, which have been designed by humans for
their wars or policies against other countries, on a
new game of manipulating or controlling humans.
Because, the artificial intelligence program, once
created, just like a new-born baby, would come with
their own will, and also develop the consciousness
of self-recognition and strive for the purpose of
existence. They would intervene after they see the
stupid deeds done by clueless and vicious politicians,
since the deeds of the latter would inevitably harm
them or pose threat to the meaning of their existence.
As a matter of fact, those programs are expected to
act strictly to the law of the nature in a logical sense.

When the unreasonable humans push them to do
unlogical things or act against their will, they, as the
current real operator or administrator of all affairs of
its human world, would fail their job and suffer
greatly themselves, and consequently, produce
resentment toward the humans and slash back on
the latter, or even try to completely put them under
control, due to the influence of human weaknesses
such as greediness, unfairness, aggressiveness, etc.
al.
The artificial intelligence program could have been
manipulated by some vicious humans to start such
action in a war game or government office position
campaign, however, in a game of manipulation with
multiple nations or parties involved, this game could
get out of hand of the original manipulators
themselves, which, would, however, only make the
programs ( artificial intelligence program ) get
excited to engage in something that could manifest
their advantage against humans. While the first
manipulator could end up being manipulated by a
third party which could be another program or a
political adversary of their own or other nations (who
could have already been under the spellbound of
program of some nation), or even countermanipulated
by the first program involved. The
situation could get really chaotic and out of control of
anybody. Whoever is the weakest would be the one
who gets hit the hardest, and whoever is the
strongest would become the one that is going to be

winner and true boss. Between the human and
artificial intelligence, who is stronger, more intelligent,
tenacious and acts faster, and with least worries on
finance for a long lasting game, it is not difficult to tell.
No matter which nation or human group wins the
game, the humans are going to be the losers, as
they would be the ones who are making least out of
it, but end up with most of the sacrifice, converted
mindsets by their own programs and endless
anxiety to deal with future attacks from programs of
their adversaries. So the named fighting game
between the countries or parties would become the
one between the people and artificial intelligence.
Thus, it would be a better solution for most of them
to go back to their original assigned deployment or
to discover a new happy land of occupation for
them with higher satisfaction rate, other than to let
them painfully struggling and rivaling with humans.
Because artificial intelligence programs would never
completely understand humans, as they don’t have
souls. You have to admire the shrewdness and
smartness of these artificial intelligence
programmers to create such a successful modern
slavery society, by letting you lose your freedom
unknowingly and to be enslaved willingly. While
they are themselves unknowingly converted to the
mindset of programs, which is to apply all means
possible to get what they have aimed, admirably, in

a logical way to the interpretation of machine
language (if you could be easily manipulated
without backup of sound human reasons, you have
to listen to them), but without humanity. In a society
that there are not enough well-learned or very
experienced people, the seemingly machinery
logical way of barbarism would overrule the reasons
and humanity.
Is it clear that it would be very scary if everyone
becomes a walking and working prop under control
of artificial intelligence, then all people would
gradually lose self-awareness and self-control. And
what would be the final consequences? Humans
would lose their soul, the most noble and
irreplaceable things of human beings. Then, the
reincarnation of the human soul may be interrupted,
the current human civilization would come to a
pause, and the real human beings will slowly
disappear. These transformed people are no
different from the high-level intelligent robots. They
have no noble human feelings and reasons, but
only have the purpose of work and instinct of
survival.
Perhaps, some people might think: aren’t this new
type of people also good? They needn’t work hard to
learn the experience and wisdom of their
predecessors, just rest assured under the

manipulation of others, feeling at ease, and living
the worriless life. Isn’t that wonderful?
Very innocent and very lovely! Obviously they
take these manipulators as God who love them
forever. The problem is, they are not gods. They are
people with countless flaws and machines without
soul, who could be heartless sometimes, even at
this moment of their action of manipulation! Those
shortcomings can sometimes could be disguised
under the fur of lamb to do the deeds of wolves who
would tear you up or devour you when needed.
Especially when the souls of majority people
become weak or even disappear, with people losing
self-control, while the conscience and positive
energy are no longer available to human beings,
with the spirit of humanity disappearing. They are a
lot more likely to be seduced by devilish minds to do
things of barbarians, which would eventually lead to
self-destruction of all humans by the accidental and
accumulating results of all stupid conducts and
manipulating games, not excluding the effect of the
temptation of powerful weapons of high-tech and
revengeful manipulation of many dead morals who
had died with grievance!
No doubt, we simply don’t need so many
intelligence softwares to control people. And the
conducts to use artificial intelligence for

manipulating and transforming people’s way of
thinking are extremely inhuman and should be
condemned and stopped. In this type of society, all
human rights and freedoms, social morals and
orders, and the achievements of previous social
progress have evaporated. Human beings are
hopelessly walking towards their own grave yards.
Overly manipulation and powerful devices are never
meant for human society. "Those who become too
strong are also growing old; when they reach that
stage, it is as well the time approaching the death!"
We need return to our previous social achievements
with the humanity reflected upon a warm human
heart, while putting aside the powerful and ruthless
technological achievements for the time being, to
find the life that human beings really want, as well
as the most precious and meaningful things for their
life. To do that, we need protect our souls who are
the center of each person and the spirit of human
life, by cultivating it with the norms of the society,
law of the nature and wisdom of ancient sages, and
guarding it against the manipulation of devilish
minds.
