New venue draws large crowd to Seniors ExpoNational Seniors Australia Garden City Branchpresident Hazel Gillies was amazed by the attendanceat last week’s Seniors Expo.The Seniors Expo 2022 opened the doors tothe Founders Pavilion at the Toowoomba Showgroundson Thursday.Mrs Gillies said more than 750 people hadwalked through the doors of the expo within thefirst two hours of the event.“The Founder’s Pavilion has provided a fantasticvenue for the expo, it has a lot of space whichallows us to have more vendors as well as plentyof parking,” she said.More than 100 vendors were present at theexpo from health products, retirement villages,lawyers, social clubs, education and more.“The Toowoomba Seniors Expo gathers all thepertinent information for seniors, and their relativesand carers under the one roof,” Mrs Gilliessaid.National Seniors Australia general managerChris Grice said it was fantastic to see such largenumbers so early into the day.“We have 84 branches across the country.
