Hello, I'm Carla - photographer to couples who love their story told to create a legacy to last lifetimes. Couples hire me because they know I'm going to look after them, whether it's hauling florals, running as fast as I can to grab the vows they forgot on the counter of the house, or helping to fix their garter. Oh - and I make pretty awesome images. I'm going into my 20th year of photographing weddings, I'm a storytelling documentary photographer, and my goal is to tell your story, from preparations to that whirl around the dance floor, capturing moments, creating connections and showing you things you didn't weren't even aware were happening around you. When it comes time for formals, I'll direct you and get the perfect poses, but I'm also going to get those perfect moments when you're doing a deep dive into each other's eyes as hands caress cheeks, foreheads press together, your heads tilt back in laughter. And.... I will cry as you walk up the aisle, because I'm invested, 1000% in you, your day, your life together. You'll get me, plus a second photographer for your wedding because we don't want to miss a second. Every couple who hires me receives a complementary engagement session because - well, we need to celebrate you! It's also so that we get to know each other better, get comfortable and you get into the photo making process with me so that we flow right into it on your wedding day.
