1. DIGITAL MARKETING
As the writer at Helianthus Advising, I create SEO- and analytics-driven content
for brands, including webpages, blogs, articles, press releases, eBooks, social
media, etc. Clients come from various industries such as health, fashion, law,
eCommerce, finances, nonprofits, and other small businesses.
2. TRAVEL WRITER & EDITOR AT KIMKIM
I started working with kimkim as a writer, crafting A2B articles for European
destinations (A2B articles follow a strict style and direct readers on how to get
from point A to point B within a city, region, or country). After a few months, the
Managing Editor promoted me to a junior editing position. I worked with tourism
outfitters across Europe, helping them craft trip guides in English without losing
the integrity of their original voice and content.
3. RESEARCHER WITH GOOGLE
Working with RWS Moravia, a translation company, I partnered with a team of
writers and researchers collaborating worldwide with Google — specifically, with
Google Maps. Each writer received global hotel properties, conducted research,
and wrote a series of content following a strict style guide, as it was essential to
maintain consistent branding across the site.
4. TRAVEL WRITER AT MATADOR NETWORK
Matador Network is where I got my freelancing start. Editors found me via their
app, TravelStoke, and asked me to provide images and articles about destinations
in Europe. Most of my articles follow popular styles like How-To's and listicles.
5. CONTRACT WRITER FOR NONPROFITS
As a contract writer for Jefferson Land Trust, an environmental nonprofit, I work
on a team that utilizes the power of story and news to grow membership and
community support. I assist staff with crafting annual reports, eNews, emails,
blogs, articles, and grants.

I'm very proud of my work here
because I was able to partner with
travel outfitters across Europe and
help them craft their content for an
English-speaking audience without
losing the intention of the original
author.
I think it's important to work with
writers in this way — to maintain
the article's integrity, but not be
afraid to create something truly
great together!

consistency in voice, tone,
structure, and vocabulary. Here are

Working with Jefferson Land Trust
is a carryover from my days in
nonprofit development, where I
focused on communications, PR,
marketing, and fundraising.
Here are two examples of stories,
one published in the Land Trust's
annual report, and the other as an
eNews article.
