Un benvenuto a tutte le squadre partecipanti, in particolare alle
squadre venute dall’estero per partecipare al nostro torneo Master
e Papi/Mami giunto alla sesta edizione. Le squadre partecipanti
quest’anno sono ben 23, un record!
Per noi è un onore e una grossa responsabilità occuparsi di voi, per farvi
stare bene in questo week end.
Ogni anno pensiamo a come migliorare il torneo e per quest’anno le
novità sono il torneo di Padel il venerdi pomeriggio, l’aperitivo e la visita
guidata in centro offerta il venerdi sera e la copertura spero completa del
torneo Master da parte di arbitri ufficiali. Il nostro Comitato organizzatore
sta lavorando da quest’estate per la migliore riuscita del torneo. Chiedo a
tutti voi, con il vostro comportamento leale, in campo e fuori, di contribuire
al successo del torneo.
Ringrazio la Federazione Italiana Hockey, il Comitato Regionale Lazio, lo
CSEN, la Direzione Impianti del CPO per la collaborazione.
Mi auguro che serberete un bel ricordo di questo week end nella città

Record edition
Welcome to all the participating teams, in particular to the ones
who have come from abroad to participate in our Master and
Papi/Mami tournament, now in its sixth edition. There are
23 teams​participating this year, a​record! It is an honor and a great
responsibility for us to take care of you and to make you feel good this
weekend. Every year we think of how we can improve the tournament
and the new activities for this year are the Padel tournament on Friday
afternoon, the aperitif and the guided tour in the center offered on Friday
evening​and the, I hope, complete coverage of the Master tournament
by official referees. Our Organizing Committee has been working since
this summer for the best success of the tournament. I ask all of you, with
your loyal behavior, on and off the pitch, to contribute to the success of
the tournament. I thank the Italian Hockey Federation, the Lazio Regional
Committee, the CSEN and the Plant Management​of the CPO for their
collaboration. I hope you will keep a nice memory of this weekend in the
Eternal City.

Our team was formed to the vision
of the Tevere Eur Hockey and UH
Capitolina presidents, Roberto
Da Gai and Madelon Belien, who
promote hockey as a social event
involving friends and family playing
and enjoying time together on and
off the field. Starting with the first
parents who dared to pick up a stick
and imitate Enrico Da Gai’s moves,
the team has grown to 20 members
participating in two weekly training
sessions. Mami & Papi provides the
opportunity to share our love of the
sport with our children.

The AZ Hockey Team is a club born in July 2020 in
the middle of the pandemic.
Thanks to the excellent work and passion for field
hockey of President Massimiliano Di Matteo and
all his staff, the Avezzano company has managed,
in just over two years of activity, to develop an
important youth sector, which goes hand in hand
with the master one already consolidated over the
years.
In the current sporting season, for the first
time, the team joined the national Serie B
championship. Our motto is: “We love Hockey”,
the rest is a consequence.

Hamburger Sport-Verein or HSV for short, is a
sports club with more than 30 divisions for all
kinds of sports in the famous city of Hamburg in
the north of Germany. The Hockey division of the
HSV was founded 1919 where as our Senior team
the “Blaue Jungs and Deerns” started in 1992.
“Blaue Jungs and Deerns” translated “blue boys
and girls” is an association to Hamburg as a port
city and the color blue for water and also the club
color of HSV. We love to play a fair and injury
free match of hockey with a great third half after
wards. Looking forward to see you and salute you
with a “Blaue Jungs and Deerns AHOY”.

The historical group of Master Butterfly was
born from the group of players coming from Eur
90 through the inclusion of Gianluca Iaccarino
in the Club over ten years ago. The group has
been enriched over the years with other players
from other clubs or from our group of Papi. Since
then, the Master group has carried out activities
in the Serie B championships and, at the same
time, an intense master activity: the Italian master
championships (won 2 times) and several weekends
in the name of friendship, hockey, food and wine.
Berlin, Lisbon, Madrid were the last trips. Even
today, these are the pillars that keep our group
together; and after Covid we will return to play,
travel and have fun with the same spirit as always.

The birth of the Hockey Evergreens
Roma club is quite recent (September
2015). Between the players there are
numerous italian titles (almost 50), some
played in the national field hockey team and some
even won cups (veterans and retired players).
Thanks to the birth of the Hockey Evergreens
Roma, many are the people that approached
field hockey. A vast number of dads and moms
(The most numerous in Italy!), passed from simply
watching their sons play to playing themselfs.
Learning the basics of field hockey was simple,
thanks to the wise teachings of the many ex italian
champions who train with us. The club grew quite
rapidly, showing a strong sense of interest to who
approaches this sport. Today we can proudly say
that we have three generations of italian hockey
players at the same time. Also the amateur sport
association Hockey Evergreens Roma is officially
recorded in the Federazione Italiana Hockey.

The Genoa Hockey Club has had a long hockey
tradition, since 1936. It has always kept the spirit
of play, fun, and team play intact, extending its
positive values to everyday life off the pitch.
In the HC team there are players of all age
groups, both male and female; the coaches, with
long experience, keep the group together trying
to transmit the founding values of this wonderful
team sport. The club participates in outdoor and
indoor tournaments and championships, and the
masters’ team also joins international tournaments.
Our club enthusiastically participates in the
Eternal tournament in Rome: this year it presents
a team with a lot of players with long experience
and technical quality, the aim is not the result on
the field but sharing a positive experience that
transcends the game.

The Hockey-Club Hannover was founded by a
small group of hockey enthusiasts in 1923.
The Club is now playing in different North
German leagues with two Men’s, one Ladies’ and
10 Junior teams. Not to forget the Minis (age 4)
and the “Mums & Dads” team.
The club’s main focus is the recreational aspect
of hockey rather than competition.
The HCH’s “Mums & Dads”-Team, called the
“Heisse Cnueppel” (Hot Sticks) was founded in
the early 80ies by enthusiastic parents who
wanted to understand what their children are
doing out there on the pitch.
Our aim is to have fun playing hockey and meet
other hockey friends from all over the world.

Polisportiva L’Aquila Hockey, the latest born in
Italy as an all-female society, will show up at
Eternal Hockey for the first time, 15 months after
its establishment. It will also be inviting, in the
name of gender equality, a considerate group of
Papi who, with passion, self-denial and a lot of
sympathy, as Pierre de Coubertin’s would say,
want to “participate” ... and not just that. We
are from L’Aquila and we never back down,
remember that. In any case, we are unbeatable
in the post-game and ready to challenge anyone,
Italians and foreigners! See you soon in Rome.

FC Lyon was born in 1893 and is one of the
older sports club in France. The field hockey
section was born in 1907. FC Lyon won 10 french
championships, mostly in the seventies but still
plays at the higher level. Our historic colours are
red and white. More than 300 players from 6 to
68 years old are registred, which makes FC Lyon,
the most important club out of Paris and the north
of France. The senior team won 2 french masters
championships, last one in 2016. Friendliness, fun
and team spirit, that’s what we believe in!

founded in 2016 by a group
of hockey players who wanted
to support, disseminate, and
grow the hockey movement in
Avezzano and all throughout
Marsica. The main focus is
on the Master and Mami/
Papi categories, while also
collaborating with the other
hockey related realities of the
area. Today, with over 40
members, managers, technicians
and collaborators, it carries out
important projects for organizing
events and for the federal logistics
structure “evolving” in Avezzano.

The 1.KHTC was founded in 1907 as a Hockey and
Tennis Club. A couple of years ago cricket was
added as a third branch.
There are just a few Hockey clubs in our area, so
from the very beginning our youth teams need
to drive to Hamburg for a game. As parents
we supported our kids and therefore some of
us started as a driver and ended up as part of
the mami and papi team. Our team, the Kieler
Rabeneltern has now over 30 members and is
still growing. Although Kiel is located by the sea,
we prefer to hop into our clubhouse instead of
jumping into the water after a game. There we
enjoy having a couple of drinks and french fries
on a silver tablet, because that´s were it fits the
most. Maybe that´s why we are so particularly
good in the third half…

The Hockey Club Eur, a historic Roman
Team founded in 1975 that has been
champion of Italy several times in the 80s
and 90s, since 2003, has resumed
the women’s hockey activity with the support of
the a.s.d. Roma Capitale Hockey F. founded in
2002. In recent years, a large group of veteran
players, all former Hockey Club Eur and Roma
Capitale Hockey F. players, has enriched the
number of registered athletes allowing the
two clubs to participate in many of the Master
activities organized nationally and internationally.
Luigi De Paolis and Alessandra Giordano are the
Presidents of the two clubs and the Team Manager
of the team in this tournament will be Ruggero
Baffari.

special teams: a team of old glories that continues
to have fun with hockey together with many

Unlike many field hockey clubs, SG Rotation
Prenzlauer Berg has its roots in the left-wing workers’
movement. It was founded in 1954 as the field
hockey department of SG Dynamo Berlin, before
becoming the company sports club (BSG) of a large
printing company whose rotary presses gave us our
name. Today Rotation is fast-growing with around
800 members, based in the heart of the capital and
home to players from all over the world. In 2016,
the club was awarded European Hockey Club of
the Year. We are one of three parent teams with 30
players between their twenties and sixties who have
only been playing together for one and a half year
now. And we have two great coaches, that we will
take along to Rome.

We are the Rotfüchse – red foxes – from
Hamburg. Our Club is the SV Bergstedt where
hockey is played since 1978. The first Rotfuchs-
Team was formed in 2005 and some Papis and
Mamis are still active on the pitch! Our Club is
focussed on recreational sports and counts 580
members playing in 22 teams starting at the age
of four years and reaching until a 50+-Team.
Regarding this our Papi and Mami team never
runs out of new players. Some are fresh starters
and some have played in their youth. We have
fun meeting other teams on the pitch and making
friends who share our enthusiams for the most
beautiful sport in the world.

Members of THK Rissen have been playing hockey
since 1949. Our playgrounds are situated between
the Elbe river and the green fields of Hamburg`s
suburb Rissen. We are active in playing tennis
and hockey with a focus on hockey!! This year`s
highlight was the “Kiwi Cup” with over 300 girls
and boys from all over Germany, Denmark and
the Netherlands. The Sodenkloppers are a mixed
group of parent hockey players usually meeting on
Friday evenings when other people are sitting on
their sofas to call this a sports evening! The most
important part of the training activities is the third
half of the match! After our first participation in
2019 we are really looking forward to seeing you
all again in Rome.

The Master team was born over 10 years ago
and its main interests are playing hockey and the
third time.
Formed by over 20 players with a glorious past, it
has gradually integrated players from other clubs
and some Papi players.
It is regularly registered in the Serie B
championship and once a year organise a
weekend in a European capital dedicated to
hockey and food. The italian Masters’ teams over
40 and over 55 always try to put in place the last
remaining energies.

Our club UHC Hamburg was founded 1901 and is
the second oldest hockey club in Germany. Its also
one of the most successful clubs, both - men and
women - are playing in the Bundesliga. Almost 25
years ago our team - the Wesselbleker Prinzen -
was born when some of us were hanging around
at the hockey pitch as our kids started to play.
Even we play very enthusiastically every friday
night and also join the famous “Sixpack-Liga”
(biggest german hockey league with 30 teams in
5 divisions) our hockey skills are limited. Its the
fun and the third half on our terrace that keeps us
moving. Every November we organize our Prinzen
Herbstcup tournament (2022 its the 20th). Its a one
