TOURIST ATTRACTIONS
Nahargarh Fort
The Nahargarh Fort is a fort that stands proudly atop an Aravalli Hills hill. Jai Singh’s reign saw its
construction in 1734, and it was later expanded in 1868. Strong fortification Nahargarh, which means
“abode of tigers,” guarded Jaipur from invading enemies. It is recognised as one of the best places to go
in Jaipur and is famous for its stunning sunset views of the entire city.
Jal Mahal
Beautifully constructed Jal Mahl is often referred as the “Water Palace.” It is situated in the middle of
Jaipur’s picturesque Mansagar Lake, and it offers a bird’s-eye perspective of the Nahargarh Hills. Four
storeys of the five-story red Sandstone castle are still submerged. Maharajah Madho Singh constructed
it in 1750, and his son added to its grandeur by creating lovely courtyard gardens. It displays a masterful
fusion of Rajput and Mughal architectural abilities.
City Palace
Shortly after Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II made the decision to move his court from the city of Amber,
City Palace has stood in the centre of the Old City of Jaipur for three centuries. City Palace is more than
just a sand-colored royal residence; it is a vast complex of structures centred on a number of beautifully
designed garden courtyards with views of Lake Palace and Jaipur.
Jantar Mantar
A fantastic astronomical observing point with enormous importance on a global scale is Jantar Mantar. It
is a magnificent illustration of the exceptional architectural and astronomical talent of masons and
Rajput King Swai Jai Singh, and was constructed in the early 18th century. The nineteen stone devices,
which were carved into various geometric designs, aid in both measuring time and correctly determining
the positions of celestial bodies.
Hawa Mahal
The Hawa Mahal stands at the intersection of Badi Chaupad, a main route in Jaipur. It is acknowledged
as the symbol of Jaipur. The Hawa Mahal palace is built on five storeys, each of which has a chamber
with a unique decoration. The peak of the palace offers stunning views of the City Palace, Jantar Mantar,
and the always packed Siredeori Bazar. Additionally, there is a modest museum that houses some rare
artefacts and miniature pieces of art.
Albert Hall Museum
This magnificent structure, also known as the Central Museum, showcases the timeless elegance of
Indo-Saracenic architecture with exquisitely carved arches and domes. The galleries of this enormous
museum contain a diverse variety of historic musical instruments, exquisite sculptures, statues, beautiful
miniature paintings, and tribal clothing. The museum is illuminated at night, creating an amazing scene.
placed at Jaipur’s Adarsh Nagar’s Ram Niwas Garden in Kailash Puri.
Birla Temple
The Birla Temple, also known as the Lakshmi Narayanan Temple, is a magnificent shrine with exquisitely
sculpted statues of Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, and other Hindu Gods and Goddesses. It was created
in white marble. This intriguing temple is located on an elevated land at the base of Moti Dungri hill. Its
walls are decorated with delicate carvings of Hindu symbols and old texts from the Geeta and the
Upanishads.
