STEM Side Activities<br />
At the <strong>International</strong> <strong>Final</strong> of the <strong>WRO</strong>, the thrill of robotics is in the<br />
foreground. However, the STEM subject goes far beyond robotics and<br />
deals with other subject areas such as mathematics, biology or chemistry.<br />
At the <strong>International</strong> <strong>Final</strong>, we don‘t just want to reach robotics<br />
nerds, but to attract many visitors and get them excited about robotics<br />
and <strong>WRO</strong> as well.<br />
We therefore decided to offer a broad STEM program to make the<br />
visit to the event as attractive as possible. In doing so, we were able to<br />
attract partners from different areas of the STEM spectrum to present<br />
their projects and ideas.<br />
The STEM program consists of four components:<br />
• STEM exhibition with hands-on activities<br />
• Lecture program on the topic of technology and robotics<br />
• Workshop program to gather and share experiences<br />
• Guided tours of the event<br />
The entire STEM program is primarily aimed at German-speaking visitors<br />
to the event and is mainly in German. You can check out the STEM<br />
exhibition in Entry North. For that reason the schedule for lectures,<br />
workshops and tours is not included.<br />
