Love and Peace!<br />
These are expressions we speak, sing and hear often during the season of advent. The<br />
thoughts and words spoken during this season invite us to embrace the spiritual hope of<br />
Peace on Earth and Loving one another as Jesus commands us as believers to pursue.<br />
This time in each year can also bring on memories of days gone by – times of<br />
celebration with families, friends and extended family members. We can recall when<br />
laughter filled each gathering and special connections were experienced and sometimes<br />
renewed. During this season the exchanging of gifts, specifically the gifts of love, are<br />
experiences that we can hold dear to our hearts.<br />
Let this service tonight give each one of us a heartfelt sense of Peace in remembering<br />
those loved ones that have finished their earthly journey before us. Whether the<br />
memories bring tears, a smile or both – let God provide you with reflective peace on this<br />
day and all the days to come.<br />
This is our Memory Mission tonight. Let Love, Peace and ultimately, Joy fill our hearts<br />
with a heavenly connection to those we cherish in spirit. Amen.<br />

Candle Lighting Ceremony<br />
The three candles can represent the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. They can also<br />
represent the past, the present and the future. The holidays can be a time of opening<br />
gifts and special memories. We offer this celebration as our gift to you and your family.<br />
As we light these candles in honor of our loved ones, we light one for our grief, one for<br />
our memories and one for our love.<br />
