Carat Weight

Cut
Cut refers to the angles and proportions of a diamond.
Cut represents a diamond’s ability to reflect light.
The lower the cut grade, the less the diamond will sparkle.

Colour
The most desirable white diamonds are those that have the least amount of colour.
Quite often however white diamonds will have a tint of yellow or brown.
White diamond colour can be divided into five categories:
Carat Weight
The industry determines the size of a diamond by weight, measured in carats.
The industry weighs smaller diamonds using a point system,
with every 100 points being equal to 1 carat.
Carat Weights to Size
Clarity
This relates to the marks of non-crystallised carbon called
‘inclusions’ found within the diamond.
Choosing Your Favourite Ring
SETTING STYLES
CLAW SET
There are many subtle variations in
the number of claws we incorporate
in a design.
BEZEL SET
Widely considered the most suitable
setting for people who wish to wear
their ring in physically demanding
conditions.
CORNER SET
Where the pointed corners of a
Diamond are secured to provide
optimum light refraction through the
stone.
TENSION SET
The diamond is placed in an opening of
the ring and held in place by pressure
exerted from the ends.
HALO SETTING
Smaller diamonds set with fine
claws surround the feature centre
diamond making a spectacular
sparkling statement in style. The halo
can be adapted to virtually any cut
of diamond and the centre stone
can be claw or bezel set.
FLOWER CLUSTER
Elegantly beautiful and a flower-like
balance between the featured centre
stone and surrounding claw set brilliant
cut diamonds.

After Care Service
Although cleaning at home is a good option, it
is important to have your pieces professionally
cleaned at least once a year to bring them back to
their original state.
It is also very important for a jeweller to assess your
diamond jewellery for any signs of wear and tear
and identify any loose stones before they fall out.
