2022 PROGRAM RECAPGIRLS IN STEMFILM FESTSEPTEMBER 16-18In partnership with Breckenridge Film Festival,participating girls learned about careers withinthe film industry as they produced their own shortfilms. All students created their own film, with6each girl having support from a variety of femalescurrently working in the film industry. This includedcinematographers, directors, film editors, producersand more.At the close of the program, girls presented theirshort films during a scheduled event included withinthe Breckenridge Film Festival schedule. As participants worked through the consensusbuilding process they had the opportunity to hear fromwomen connected to the water industry, and learnedabout the barriers they have faced as women and how theyovercame those challenges.7
