It’s important we have big performances in the game and our potential match-winners stand out.” Beale naturally feels he has some evening up to do in terms of this competition, which was not kind to he and Gerrard. They hadn’t been in the best of form but they won well last weekend so they will be boosted by that. “We’ve played them twice already this season so we know them well and they know us. They’ll bring their best so we have to bring our best to make sure we’re the team going to the final. If you put yourself in the other camp, it means the absolute world to them. So, unless you are willing to give everything you’ve got then you can’t expect anything. “I remember watching the scenes in the Scottish Cup last season against Celtic then Hearts. Firstly, Fashion Sakala and Calvin Bassey celebrating the winner in the semifinal and then the great moments after winning the final.
