The idea behind my photo book is to show the
contrast between the light and the dark. These
photographs in this collection are going to be
vastly different from each other, but they all
follow this general theme of “Light and Dark”.
They interpret this theme by having very different
but oddly similar shapes, lightning,
environments, and stories. They are all very
unique because many of my photos in this
collection have been taken throughout my entire
2-3 year journey of practicing photography. My
photos are meant to be contemplative, to give
the reader a sense of wonder but also a feel of
connection. As almost every one of my photos
included are things we all have probably seen
and connected with before.
I want the readers to gain an overall positive
experience from my photobook, as many of
these photographs are some of my personal
favorites. And most importantly, I hope to inspire.
