CO2 pollution is one of the main problems perceived by the world population.
In large cities about 60% of CO2 and particulates are produced by taxis and public
transport and that mass transit is responsible for more than 13% of global carbon
emissions.
On all political and economic agendas, the process of reducing pollution, especially in
large metropolises, is one of the most hotly debated topics and one on which media
attention is very high.
As cleaner alternatives to fossil fuel-based ones, electric vehicles have been generally
used in logistics and transportation to deal with environmental challenges. They can
6 reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 48% compared to traditional ones.

Despite the many obvious advantages that electric vehicles bring, some difficult
issues arise. First, electric vehicles have a much shorter range than conventional
ones. In addition, charging is slow, and battery disposal may become a big deal soon.
Eurofork, which has always aimed to propose innovative solutions with particular
attention to social and environmental sustainability, has designed a solution to solve
these issues in the e-mobility sector through a technology transfer of what it excels
at: automatic handling.

The company continuously strives to achieve a sustainable future
with zero emissions.
After years of tests, Eurofork has designed and created forks and
shuttles dedicated to battery swaps in the e-mobility sector. The
patented forks and shuttles are integrated into fully automated
system for electric car battery swaps: the battery swap station.
In just a few seconds, the car is lifted in the Battery swap stations,
and while one shuttle releases the dead battery from the car, the
second shuttle hooks up another fully charged one, allowing the car
to restart with full autonomy in just twenty seconds.
Our technology has already been successfully tested in some of the
largest metropolises and is ready to land in the rest of the world.
