Grid-tied Solar Rooftop System- How the system works
This system is connected to the electrical grid, and allows residents/users of buildings to use
solar energy as well as power from the grid. In this system, solar PV panels produce DC current
which is fed into solar inverter that converts it to usable 230V 50Hz AC.
When the panels generate adequate energy, the solar inverter uses no power from the grid
If the power generated by panels is not sufficient, inverter compensates by drawing power
from the grid and at night it will completely switch to main grid
If the power is in excess, it can be fed to the grid under net metering.
Battery is not used for this system as grid used as a backup.

Terms and Conditions
Payment term: 50% advance with order placement
45% after solar modules arrive at site
05% on successful testing of system
Installation: Within 2-3 months of order confirmation
In the event if order, it should be placed on EPC contractor by us and we shall be providing
PMC services
Cleaning of panels will be in customer scope to maintain optimum generation
Detail Scope of Work
The scope of work for the installer include study of the rooftop of buildings, complete design,
engineering, manufacture, supply, storage, civil work, erection, testing & commissioning of the grid
connected rooftop solar PV project as per the norms of the CEA and local DISCOM.
Under Scope of Work installer will do following activities:
1) Solar Plant Engineering Design.
2) Detailed Planning & smooth execution of the Project
3) Supply of the PV Modules, Mounting System & Solar PCU with necessary accessories On – site
installation
4) System Installation and commissioning including lightening arrester & earthling
5) Basic Training on working and upkeep to Operator & maintenance staff
6) System analysis, technical reports & recommendation
7) NOC / Permission from local DISCOM/ Nodal Agencies for connecting SPV power plant to grid
8) Application for Net Metering installation and commissioning
#AC Cable and earthling strip length from inverters to the Solar LT Panel placed near to the
inverter at appropriate location will be in scope installer however AC cable/ Earthling strip from
Solar LT Panel to Client LT Panel more than 10 meters will be in scope of client.

Assumptions
1) All approvals, NOCs and permissions, installer will support to get, but the charges for
application or any other will be extra.
2) Any other related work or arrangement like Material Storage location, way for working at
roof required for the execution of the installation of the project.
3) Electricity at roof for working.

Operation and Maintenance (not cleaning of panels) of complete system is for One year
(Performance warranty of panel is for 25 years)
Warranty can be claimed against any manufacturing defect for all the components. No
warranty can be claimed on broken panel after installation.
