Please read before booking<br />

NCL BROCHURE 2023–20<strong>24</strong><br />

The following information highlights and provides a brief<br />

summary of certain terms and conditions which apply to<br />

your booking. These are NOT our full Terms and Conditions.<br />

Our full Terms and Conditions (CE markets version) apply<br />

to all bookings made from this brochure. It is this version<br />

which is referred to in this summary. These appear on our<br />

website www.<strong>ncl</strong>.eu and can also be provided by e-mail or<br />

post on request.<br />

You must ensure you have seen and agreed to the<br />

correct full Terms and Conditions prior to seeking<br />

confirmation of your booking.<br />

Our full Terms and Conditions together with the<br />

information contained in the Frequently Asked<br />

Questions section in this brochure and on our website<br />

form the basis of your contract and constitute your<br />

conditions of carriage with NCL (Bahamas) Ltd.,<br />

trading as Norwegian, NCL and/or Norwegian Cruise<br />

Line, a limited liability company registered in Bermuda<br />

(registration no. 34680), with its head office in Miami,<br />

Florida, USA, Our Sales and Marketing contact for<br />

Continental Europe is at Kreuzberger Ring 68, 65205<br />

Wiesbaden, Germany.<br />

Before making your booking, you must read the<br />

applicable full Terms and Conditions and Frequently<br />

Asked Questions section carefully as they set out<br />

our respective rights and obligations. By seeking<br />

confirmation of your booking, we are entitled to assume<br />

that you have done so and accept these as the basis<br />

of your contract. A binding contract between us comes<br />

into existence when we issue a travel confirmation in<br />

acceptance of your booking request unless our full<br />

Terms and Conditions specify an earlier applicable point<br />

of contract. Entering into this binding contract marks the<br />

start of an ongoing business relationship between you<br />

and NCL (Bahamas) Ltd. As part of this relationship we<br />

may use the personal information you provided to us as<br />

part of this booking to provide you with periodic NCL<br />

(Bahamas) Ltd. cruise updates and offers and we ask<br />

that you advise us if you would not like to receive these.<br />

For all cruises which involve international carriage (as<br />

defined by the 1974 Athens Convention Relating to the<br />

Carriage of Passengers and Their Luggage by Sea as<br />

amended by the 2002 Protocol (“Athens Convention”)),<br />

the provisions of EC Regulation 392/2009 on the liability<br />

of carriers of passengers in the event of accidents (which<br />

incorporates certain provisions of the Athens Convention)<br />

and/or the Athens Convention will apply to your cruise<br />

and the process of getting on or off the ship. For any other<br />

travel arrangements which form part of your holiday with<br />

us to which any international convention or EU regulation<br />

applies, our liability will be limited as if we were the carrier<br />

in question entitled to rely on the applicable convention<br />

or regulation (for example, the Warsaw Convention as<br />

amended or unamended, the Montreal Convention and/<br />

or EC Regulation 889/2002 on Air Carrier Liability in<br />

relation to travel by air). Our full Terms and Conditions<br />

contain other limitations and exclusions of our liability to<br />

you as well as the time limits which apply for notifying and<br />

bringing any claim.<br />

Financial security to ensure you receive a refund<br />

of monies paid to us and/or to cover your necessary<br />

expenses for your early return home in the event your<br />

cruise cannot be provided due to our insolvency is<br />

provided by insurance. If applicable for your booking,<br />

a certificate confirming this insurance coverage will<br />

accompany your travel confirmation. Our full Terms and<br />

Conditions provide for the payment of cancellation<br />

charges if you cancel or fail to make payment when<br />

due and for the application of surcharges in certain<br />

circumstances.<br />

The UK Foreign Office publishes regularly updated<br />

travel information on a range of subjects i<strong>ncl</strong>uding<br />

safety and security in all holiday destinations on its<br />

website www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice which you<br />

are strongly recommended to check before booking<br />

and in good time before departure.<br />

EU citizens require a biometric passport issued by an<br />

EU member state valid for at least 6 months beyond<br />

the date of completion of the cruise. A passport is<br />

also required for all European sailings (Exception:<br />

citizens of Schengen States may travel with a valid<br />

identity card if the booked cruise does not leave the<br />

Schengen Area.). EU citizens with an EU passport<br />

will be advised of current passport, visa and health<br />

requirements prior to travel. This information is also<br />

shown on our website. Requirements may change.<br />

You must complete your Online Check-In at www.<strong>ncl</strong>.<br />

eu (i<strong>ncl</strong>uding passport data) latest until three (3) days<br />

prior to sailing as stated on your travel confirmation.<br />

If registration is not completed before departure<br />

boarding can be denied.<br />

In the event of any flight delay or cancellation, the<br />

airline is responsible for providing such assistance as<br />

is legally required by EC Regulation 261/2004, where<br />

applicable. Where your cruise departs from a port in<br />

the EU, we will comply with EU regulation 1177/2010<br />

in the event of delay or cancellation.<br />

PERSONAL DATA AND PRIVACY<br />

At NCL Holdings Ltd., our mission is to provide superior cruise holidays for our guests. This mission covers all of our activities i<strong>ncl</strong>uding the products and experiences we offer on<br />

board our ships and extends to our online community through our websites and interactive features, i<strong>ncl</strong>uding applications, widgets, blogs, social networks, social network “tabs” and<br />

other online or mobile offerings (which we collectively call the “Services”). Our Services are owned and operated by NCL Holdings Ltd. (together with its subsidiaries and brands,<br />

NCL, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, the “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).<br />

Our privacy policy describes what data we collect online and offline and how we use, share and secure that data. It also describes your choices regarding use, access and correction of<br />

your personal data. Personal data is information, or a combination of different types of information, that could reasonably allow you to be identified.<br />
