Colinton Mains

Pharmacy

- meet the

pharmacist!

We have a new pharmacist at our

independent, community pharmacy in

Colinton Mains - community pharmacists

are in very high demand right now, we

consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to

have found an excellent new Pharmacy

Manager in Bethany Newby!

Beth joins us from the Lake District and is,

enthusiastically, taking up the

challenge of switching to the

Scottish Community

pharmacy system. She is

finding the support of our

Superintendent Pharmacist,

Eileen Leslie, and all of our

excellent Colinton Mains

team invaluable. She brings

a wealth of community

pharmacy experience with

her having started her

career in a small familyowned

chain of pharmacies,

gaining experience beyond the dispensary

in supporting nursing homes and delivering

palliative care. She also began her management

training there and then moved on to

manage her first branch in the large

multiple, Cohens. Since then, Beth has led,

trained and managed several dispensary

teams. She has ensured the provision of

enhanced and advanced NHS services to

her customers and patients building up a lot

of customer satisfaction and

loyalty – something we truly

value at Colinton Mains Pharmacy.

You will find that Beth takes

an open, friendly and

approachable attitude to

supporting patients for their

healthcare needs.

We hope that you will meet

Beth, at work for you and other

customers very soon, and

witness her enthusiasm for her new post

yourselves! You can also come and consult

our fully trained team, via the NHS

Pharmacy First Service, on winter cold and

flu symptoms and other issues, such as

impetigo, skin infections, shingles and

urinary infections. We have recently

introduced the new Tympa Earhealth

service, which includes ear wax removal,

We are YOUR community Council if you

live in Winton, Buckstone, Swanston,

Caiystane, Comiston.

We are interested in your local

issues.

We meet at Fairmilehead Parish Church

Frogston Road 7pm.

KSB Bathrooms

We recently used KSB Bathrooms to completely

renovate a bathroom and to install and re-site a

new gas boiler in the attic. Kenny and Steve

explained clearly the various options for the job.

When the work started it was carried out very

carefully to a high standard. All the trades involved

dove-tailed smoothly. All the tradesmen

were courteous and explained each step of the

job as it proceeded. We are delighted with our

new bathroom and boiler and would strongly

recommend KSB Bathrooms.

I have just used Select A Blind to install blinds in

my new apartment. Donna was incredibly helpful

in talking through various options and offering

advice to allow for different window openings.

The installation was excellent and the

team went above and beyond to ensure a

perfect result. I highly recommend Select A

neatly - they also installed 2 curtain poles! I
